is impregnated with thermosetting resin 2. The concentration of resin 2 is preferably about 10-30% by weight. Next, the veneer 1 is dried to remove moisture, and at the same time, the impregnated thermosetting resin 2 is cured to the B stage (semi-cured state) (FIG. 1c). Next, after applying a urethane emulsion to one side of the veneer 1, the urethane emulsion is dried at a temperature of 90°C or lower to prevent further hardening of the thermosetting resin 2, and a coating layer 6 is formed on one side of the veneer 1. Form. Next, an adhesive 3 such as a urea-vinyl acetate adhesive colored in summer wood color is applied between the veneers 1 and 1 (Fig. 1 e), and a large number of veneers 1,
1... are laminated and compressed on a template to produce a laminated timber 4 (Fig. 2). Next, this laminated wood 4 is sliced obliquely to a predetermined thickness to obtain a sliced veneer 5 as shown in FIG. At this time, since the thermosetting resin 2 in the laminated wood 4 is in a B-stage state, it can be easily sliced without damaging the cutting blade during slicing. Thereafter, the obtained sliced veneer 5 is heated and pressurized to completely cure the thermosetting resin, thereby obtaining a decorative veneer. Furthermore, when attaching the obtained sliced veneer 5 to a substrate such as plywood, heat and pressure may be applied to completely cure the resin 2. In this case, the thermosetting resin 2 may be completely cured by one heat and pressure treatment. The decorative veneer can be attached simultaneously with the curing of step 2.

The emulsion coating layer 6 penetrates into the side of the veneer 1 on which the coating layer 6 is not formed, and the summer material color of the adhesive 3 that penetrates is visible from the surface side through the veneer 1. As shown in FIG. 3, a transition portion 8 in which the color of the material is slightly blurred appears. Furthermore, a cured film of thermosetting resin 2 is formed on the entire surface of this decorative veneer, giving it a glossy and hard feel, giving it an appearance close to natural wood grain similar to cypress, cherry, etc.

る。 In addition, FIGS. 4 to 6 show other embodiments, in which the surface is glossy and the summer wood part 7 has a greasy feel, as seen in veneers of pine and Japanese arabic pine. This shows the method for manufacturing veneer. This will be explained in detail below. First, two bleached or dyed veneers 1 are stacked and immersed in a novolak type phenolic resin aqueous solution. The viscosity of this phenolic resin aqueous solution is preferably about 20 cps. The phenolic resin 9 is attached to the surface of each veneer 1 as shown in FIG. After that, peel off each of the stacked veneers 1 and 1 and remove the veneer 1 with a moisture content of 20~
It is dried to 30% by weight, and then a large number of veneers 1 are laminated in the same direction, that is, so that the phenol resin 9 attached to the surfaces do not face each other, and a one-component urethane adhesive or the like is applied between each veneer 1. adhesive and compressed on a template that reproduces the desired wood grain. Next, the produced laminated wood 4 is sliced as shown in FIG. 5 to obtain a sliced veneer 5, and then the sliced veneer 5 is passed through paraform vapor or formalin is applied to the surface of the sliced veneer 1. Then, the sliced veneer 5 alone or the sliced veneer 5 attached to a base material such as plywood is heated and pressed to completely cure the phenolic resin 9 to obtain a decorative veneer. Also in this method, the laminated wood 4 is sliced when the resin is not hardened, so slicing is easy, and the cutting blade does not spill or chip. In addition, the fluid phenolic resin 9 oozes out onto the surface of the sliced veneer 5, and the resin 9 is then cured, so the surface of the decorative veneer exhibits a glossy appearance due to the resin, and the hardness of the surface is reduced. It's expensive. Moreover, since a large amount of phenolic resin 9 is interposed between each veneer 1 and 1 and hardened, the hardened phenolic resin 9 gives a rosin-like feel and the surface of the decorative veneer is coated as shown in Figure 6. A summer wood portion 7 having a greasy feel is formed. In addition, since the phenol resin 9 of this summer wood portion 7 penetrates into the inside of the veneer 1 from the surface, a transition area 8 with a lighter color tone is formed near the summer wood portion 7 on the surface of the decorative veneer. This gives an appearance close to natural wood grain.

る。 In addition, the bleached or dyed veneer 1 used above
Each is used after being bleached with hydrogen peroxide or the like. This bleaching process is effective when the bleaching solution is alkaline, but if the solution is made alkaline, some of the polysaccharides such as hemicellulose and lignin in the veneer 1 will be extracted into the bleaching solution. There is a disadvantage that the strength of the veneer 1 decreases and the porosity of the structure of the veneer 1 increases, making it easier for paint to penetrate during subsequent painting of the veneer 1. Therefore, monosaccharides such as glucose, sucrose, etc. It is preferable to immerse the veneer 1 after dyeing or decolorization in a treatment solution in which a disaccharide is dissolved in a polar solvent such as DMF (dimethylformamide), DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide), or ED (ethylene diamine). In this way, the saccharide fills the voids in the veneers 1, thereby reducing penetration of paint and improving the adhesive strength between the veneers 1. Furthermore, if a urethane adhesive or the like that chemically reacts with the hydroxyl group of sugars is used as the adhesive, the adhesiveness will be further improved.

After dyeing to the desired color, the stained veneer is immersed in a treatment solution of DMSO and sucrose. At this time, the treatment liquid may be heated to promote dissolution of the sucrose and to improve the swelling effect on the veneer. Next, the humidity of the thus treated veneers was adjusted to a predetermined moisture content, and then a large number of veneers were laminated and pressed together using an adhesive to obtain a laminated wood. Next, after slicing the laminated wood to obtain sliced veneers, the sliced veneers were attached to plywood or the like and the surface was painted to obtain decorative plywood.

化粧単板が得られるものである。 As described above, the present invention impregnates a veneer with a thermosetting resin and dries it, then forms a coating layer only on the inner surface of one of the veneers stacked above and below,
A large number of veneers are laminated and pressed together with a colored adhesive colored in the summer wood color to create laminated wood, and then the laminated wood is sliced and the resulting sliced veneers are heated to make them thermosetting. Since the resin is completely cured, the laminated wood is produced with the thermosetting resin in the B stage, making it easy to slice the laminated wood, and the blade will not spill or chip when slicing. In addition, since the slightly fluid thermosetting resin migrates to the surface of the sliced veneer and hardens, a decorative veneer with a glossy and hard surface can be obtained. In addition, on the surface of the obtained decorative veneer or plywood, the adhesive colored in summer wood color will appear as a wood grain pattern in the summer wood area.
At the same time, this adhesive penetrates into the veneer side where the coating layer is not formed, and the summer wood color of the penetrated adhesive is visible from the surface side through the veneer, so one side of the summer wood part has a summer wood color. The color appears as a slightly blurred area, and in addition, a hardened film of thermosetting resin is formed on the entire surface of this decorative veneer, giving it a glossy and hard feel, giving it an appearance similar to natural wood grain. A decorative veneer can be obtained.
