に、従来からのキユー信号発生回路6を用い、モ
ノマルチ7で定まる一定期間、V.syncをキユー
信号とし、遅延装置8を介してキユーヘツド5に
伝えキユー信号9を記録させる。この遅延装置8
は、REC/PBモードのテープ速度から距離lに
相当する時間だけ遅延するものであり、このよう
にして記録されたキユー信号は、従来のX値に相
当する位置でキユーヘツドにより記録したものと
全く同一である。従つて、従来同様互換性を持た

ツドの間に、上記所定距離に対応する分だけキユ
ー信号を遅らす遅延装置を設けたことを特徴とす
