は隣接室との間に圧力差が大きい場合には、境界
部の隙間を通つて多量の空気の侵入や、雰囲気ガ
スが流れるので、雰囲気のガスの条件保持が困難
となるばかりでなく、ガスの補充、抜去り等の為
のガス処理設備の容量が大きくなる欠点があつ
た。

ている。またアダプター9も先端9bがロール2
に沿つた形状をしており、アダプター9の端部
は、ケーシング6の内面に小さな隙間13を維持
できる構造としている。なお、ロール2は軸8に
より駆動されると共に、同軸8を介して軸受7で
支持されている。また本実施例では、板1の厚み
変更に対応できるように、ロールを上下動可能に
するため、ロール軸8、ロール軸受7を1体化し
たものをケーシング6とベローズ12を介して結
んだ構造としている。
