(Industrial Application Field) The present invention relates to a gypsum material having antibacterial and antifungal properties that is particularly suitable for architectural gypsum material. (Prior Art) Gypsum materials have been widely used as building materials such as wall materials, ceiling materials, and interior decoration materials. However,
Because gypsum (CaSo 4 , 2H 2 O) has high water absorption, bacteria and mold may grow during long-term use, and the areas where bacteria and mold have grown may change color and cause problems in appearance. At the same time, the occurrence of bacteria, mold, etc. was itself unfavorable from a sanitary standpoint. Therefore, attempts have been made to mix organic fungicides, such as diphenyl ether fungicides and chlorhexidine fungicides, in order to impart antibacterial and antifungal properties to plaster materials, but the sustainability of the bactericidal action has been limited. It had the disadvantage of being scarce and had not been put into practical use. (Problems to be Solved by the Invention) The present invention solves the above-mentioned conventional problems, maintains stable antibacterial and antifungal effects over a long period of time, and eliminates the appearance caused by the growth of bacteria and mold. This was completed in order to provide a gypsum material with antibacterial and antifungal properties that can solve hygiene problems. (Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention, which has been made to solve the above problems, uses soluble glass that dissolves silver or copper ions by the water that has penetrated into the inside of the gypsum material, in the form of powder, beads, etc. Alternatively, it is characterized by being mixed into gypsum in the form of fibers. The gypsum material referred to in the present invention is particularly suitable as a building material, and includes, for example, gypsum plaster for wall painting and ceiling painting using calcined gypsum as the main raw material, or gypsum plaster made of calcined gypsum with fibers or sawdust added. Gypsum board for ceilings, walls, and partitions is a board-shaped board made of wood that has excellent waterproof, soundproofing, moisture-proofing, and heat insulation properties, or ceilings, partitions, and walls made from calcined gypsum mixed with sawdust, etc. There are plaster blocks for partitions, etc. In the present invention, in the above various architectural plasters,
Dispersing soluble glass powder, etc., which can elute silver or copper ions at a constant rate, exerts antibacterial and antifungal effects. This meltable glass is a physical glass that has a controlled melting rate.
It is a general term for glasses whose composition has been adjusted taking into account their chemical properties. Meltable glasses containing silver or copper compounds are meltable glasses containing silver or copper compounds at a fixed rate over a period of time ranging from several hours to several years. Ions can be eluted. The eluted silver or copper ions inhibit the growth of bacteria and microorganisms and exhibit antibacterial and antifungal effects. The above-mentioned soluble glass is mixed into plaster in the form of powder, beads, or fibers, but the amount of soluble glass mixed into plaster is 0.1 to 15
It is preferable to keep it within the range of % by weight. this is
If it is less than 0.1% by weight, the antibacterial and antifungal effects will be insufficient.
This is because if the content exceeds 15% by weight, the original characteristics of gypsum material will be lost. In this way, in the present invention, by selecting the form and amount of soluble glass mixed in plaster according to the purpose of use, silver or copper ions can be added in an amount that can exert sufficient antibacterial and antifungal effects. This causes the elution of (Function) The gypsum material of the present invention is used as a building material such as wall materials, ceiling materials, interior decoration materials, etc., but since gypsum itself has high water absorbency, water that has penetrated into the interior will absorb moisture. As a result, the soluble glass gradually dissolves, and silver or copper ions, which exhibit antibacterial and antifungal effects, are eluted. and,
The action of these silver or copper ions completely prevents the growth of bacteria and mold on the gypsum material, and also prevents discoloration due to mold and the like. (Example) B 2 O 3 60 mol%, SiO 2 30 mol%, Na 2 O 10 mol%
A soluble glass containing 15% by weight of Cu 2 O was prepared and powdered with a particle size of 40 to 100 μm. Next, 4% by weight of this soluble glass powder, 84% by weight of calcined gypsum, and 12% by weight of sawdust were mixed with water, poured between two sheets of paperboard, and cured with a roller to a certain thickness. It was then dried and made into plasterboard. Cut a test piece from this gypsum board and JIS Z
Apply a spore suspension (2nd group: Penicillium citrinum, 4th group: Gradosporium gradosporioides) to the surface according to 2911 and incubate at 27℃ for 4 hours.
The first test result of mold resistance when cultured for a week
As shown in the table, no mold growth was observed in the examples even after 4 weeks. Note that the comparative example shows the case of a conventional gypsum board that does not contain soluble glass.

[Table] (Effects of the Invention) As is clear from the above description, the present invention enables silver or copper ions, which have antibacterial and antifungal properties, to be gradually eluted over a long period of time at a constant rate. It can completely prevent discoloration of plaster materials by preventing the growth of bacteria and mold on the materials.
At the same time, the surface can also be kept sanitary. Therefore, the present invention provides a gypsum material with antibacterial and anti-fungal properties that eliminates the conventional problems.
The contribution to industrial development is extremely large.
