Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a lighting system for which connection of inside wiring can be carried out easily. CONSTITUTION:A lower opening 3 is arranged in a lower plate 2 of an illumination box 1, and an upper opening 5 is also arranged in an upper plate 4 above an opening edge part 3a of this lower opening 3. A downlight installation plate 6 capable of passing through the lower opening 3 in its slant posture, is extended over an upper surface 3b of the edge part of the lower opening 3. In a position under the upper opening 5, the downlight installation plate 6 is fixed to the opening edge part 3a of the lower opening 3 by means a screw 7. In a lighting system 10, by pulling out the downlight installation plate 6 downward, inside wiring 1b can be pulled out from the lower opening 3. Thereby, even in the case of installing the illumination box 1 at an elevated spot, connection of the wiring 1b can be carried out without climbing up to the elevated spot.
