【考案の詳細な説明】

【産業上の利用分野】
この考案は，殺菌力を有する金属イオンを発生しうる電気洗濯機に関する ものである。

【従来の技術】
従来，洗濯物に付着する細菌類は，洗濯水により除去され，さらに太陽光 の紫外線によって死滅する。またアイロンなどの熱で死滅する。

【考案が解決しようとする課題点】
近年住宅事情の変化にともない，洗濯物に直接日光を当てられない場合も あり，洗濯物が乾燥しても，付着している細菌類が充分に死滅しない。 本案は，その欠点を除いて，洗濯時に衣類等の洗濯物に付着する細菌類を 死滅させるよう開発するものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
その解決手段を図１を追いながら説明すれば，洗濯物６を入れる洗濯槽１ に，金属電極２を設け，洗濯水３が洗濯槽１に充満される時，直流電源装 置４より被覆電線５を通して送電される直流電気により，金属イオンが発 生するようにする。 なお，殺菌力のある金属イオンを発生させる金属電極には， （イ）銀 （ロ）銅 などの材料を使用する。

本考案は以上のようなものであるから，衣類等の洗濯物６が洗濯槽１で洗 濯される時，殺菌力を有する金属イオンにより付着している細菌類は死滅 する

【実施例】
（イ）洗濯槽１を合成樹脂などの材料でつくる （ロ）金属電極２を銀あるいは銅でつくり，洗濯槽１に設置する （ハ）金属電極２と直流電源装置４を，被覆電線５で結ぶ 以上を設備した電気洗濯機とする。

【考案の効果】
本考案は以上のような構造，材質，使い方によって次の効果がある。 金属電極２から発生する銀イオン，あるいは銅イオンの金属イオンは，洗 濯槽１内の洗濯物６に付着する細菌類を死滅させるので，乾燥時に紫外線 を当てたり，加熱したりしなくても，衛生的な仕上がりを得ることができ る。また洗濯後に廃棄される洗濯排水中に，細菌類は残存できず衛生的で ある
