Pressure fluid from the master cylinder 1 is supplied to the wheel cylinder of the wheel 6 through the pipe 3, the pressure chamber 14 of the switching valve device 4, the through hole 21, and the pipe 5. Although not shown, pressurized fluid is also supplied to the wheel cylinders of the rear wheels via the piping 7 and a device similar to the device 50 shown in the drawings, but only the system on the side of the rear wheels 6 shown in the drawings will be described below. . Although the other front wheel is not shown, it is assumed that it is connected to the piping 5 in parallel.

Since the coil 27 of the switching valve device 4 is not yet energized, the plunger 18 and the valve balls 16, 25 are in the state shown in the figure, and the pipe 3 side and the pipe 5 side are in communication, but the pipe 5 side is in communication with the pipe 3 side and the pipe 5 side. and the pipe 8 side are cut off. Therefore, the pressure fluid from the master cylinder 1 is supplied to the wheel cylinder of the front wheel 6 through the pressure chamber 14 and the through hole 21 of the switching valve device 4 as described above.

As pressurized fluid is supplied to the wheel cylinders of the wheels 6, the brakes on the wheels 6 begin to apply. When the hydraulic pressure in the wheel cylinder increases and the control unit 30 determines that the brakes are being applied too much for a certain period of time, the output S1 becomes "1". As a result, the coil 27 is excited, a downward attractive force is applied to the plunger 18, and the plunger 18 moves downward against the spring force of the spring 19. First, the upper shaft portion 18c is retracted downward from the small diameter hole portion 13a,
A valve ball 16 is seated on a valve seat 17. As a result, the pressure chamber 14, ie, the master cylinder 1 side, and the wheel cylinder side of the wheel 6 are cut off. Next, the lower shaft portion 18d comes into contact with the valve ball 25 and pushes it down against the spring force of the spring 24. As a result, the loosening chamber 23, that is, the reservoir 9 side and the wheel cylinder side of the wheel 6 are brought into communication. Pressure fluid from the wheel cylinder of the wheel 6 is discharged into the reservoir 9 through the through hole 21, the small diameter hole 13b, and the loosening chamber 23. Therefore, the braking force of the wheels 6 decreases. In the reservoir 9, the piston 40 moves to the left according to the amount of liquid stored.

If the control unit 30 determines that the brake is too loose at a certain time and needs to be re-applied, the output S1 becomes "0" and the outputs S2 and S3 become "1". The motor 11 rotates and the solenoid 12a of the electromagnetic valve 12 is energized. On the other hand, the coil 27 of the switching valve device 4 is de-energized and the plunger 18
is moved upward by the spring force of the spring 19. The lower valve ball 25 is seated on the valve seat 26, and the wheel cylinder side and the reservoir 9 side are cut off. On the other hand, the upper shaft portion 18c of the plunger 18 is connected to the upper valve ball 16.
However, the hydraulic pressure in the master cylinder 1 continues to rise even after the above-mentioned brake release starts, and the valve ball 16 comes into contact with the valve ball 16.
There is a large pressure difference between the top and bottom of the valve ball 16.
is not pushed up by the upper shaft portion 18c. That is, the master cylinder 1 side and the wheel cylinder side are still in a disconnected state. Therefore, if the output S2 of the control unit 30 is not set to "1" immediately after the end of the brake release signal, the solenoid valve 12 is in state A, so that the hydraulic pressure in the wheel cylinder is reduced. It can be held constant immediately after.

As the outputs S 2 and S 3 become "1", the solenoid valve 12 becomes in state B, and the hydraulic pump 10 sucks brake fluid from the fluid storage chamber 36 of the reservoir 9 and supplies pressure fluid to the wheel cylinder. 6's braking force increases.

However, when the liquid in the liquid storage chamber 36 of the reservoir 9 runs out, that is, when the piston 40 moves to the right and comes into contact with the inner end wall 32a of the main body 32, even though the hydraulic pump 10 is driven, the wheels 6 The hydraulic pressure in the wheel cylinder does not increase any further and remains constant thereafter. This is not a problem as long as the coefficient of friction of the road surface on which the vehicle travels does not vary significantly, but if the road surface changes from a low-friction road surface to a high-friction road surface, the braking force will be insufficient if the braking force is held constant.

The above object is to provide a second pipe that directly communicates the master cylinder and the wheel cylinder in the configuration described at the beginning, and to this second pipe,
This is achieved by an anti-skid brake control device which is provided with a valve device that closes when the amount of liquid stored in the liquid storage device is present.

When the discrimination device issues a brake release command, the cutoff valve device closes, and the master cylinder side and the wheel cylinder side are cut off. On the other hand, in the release valve device, the open wheel cylinder side and the liquid storage device side communicate with each other.
Hydraulic pressure from the wheel cylinder is vented into the reservoir and the brake is released. When the liquid storage device starts storing liquid, the valve device in the second pipe is closed.

When the discrimination device issues a brake reloading command, the release valve device closes, but the cutoff valve device also remains closed due to the differential pressure between the wheel cylinder side and the master cylinder side. Therefore, initially, the supply device sucks hydraulic fluid from the fluid storage device and supplies pressurized fluid to the wheel cylinders to increase the braking force.

When the amount of liquid stored in the liquid storage device becomes zero, a valve device in the second pipe opens, and the master cylinder side and the wheel cylinder side are directly connected. Therefore, the shutoff valve device is still closed due to the differential pressure, but pressurized fluid is supplied directly from the master cylinder to the wheel cylinder via the second pipe, and as long as the brake refill command continues, the brake force will be reduced. can be increased.

At A, the valve ball 62 is connected to the bypass cut piston 6
By opening the valve with 0, the master cylinder side and the wheel cylinder side communicate with each other, making it possible to drive the cylinder. That is, the pressure fluid from the master cylinder 1 is supplied into the master cylinder pressure chamber 66 through the pipes 3 and 68 and the through hole 67, and from there, it is further passed through the valve chamber 65 and the pipe 70 to the wheel of the wheel 6. The hydraulic pressure can be further increased by being supplied to the cylinder. After the above-mentioned brake release starts, the hydraulic pressure in the master cylinder 1 has further increased, but since it is supplied to the wheel cylinder side through the throttle passage 67a in the through hole 67, the wheel tends to lock. is prevented.

As described above, according to the anti-skid brake control device of the present invention, the hydraulic pressure in the wheel cylinder can be increased as long as the refill command is issued. As with conventional systems, when the liquid storage device runs out of liquid, the fluid pressure cannot be increased any further, and the braking distance becomes longer when the road changes from a low μ road surface to a high μ road surface. Never.
