Description
本発明は、ホツトパツク、常温パツク、又は低
温パツク等により麺つゆ、ソース、焼肉のタレそ
の他適宜の液状物質等を内容物として封入し、所
要量及び所要大きさ毎に区分して熱シールした連
続帯状包装体を、自動包装直後に高温のものは迅
速に所要温度(常温)に冷却か又は常温もしくは
低温のものは殺菌のため一時的に加熱してから冷
却するようにした液状物質の連続帯状包装体にお
ける処理方法及び装置に関するものである。

従来、例えばホツトパツクと称される高温液状

では爾後の箱詰め工程等においての作業が困難と
なるため、これを熱処理により所要温度(常温)
に冷却していた。その冷却手段とて例えば第4図
示のように自動包装装置20のカツター21によ
り熱シール部22から切断した個包装体23を一
個所に山積状に堆積して自然冷却するもの、ある
いは第5図示のように自動包装装置20のカツタ
ー21により熱シール部22から切断した個包装
体23を所要数の山積状または一個づつにネツト
状コンベア24上に載架した状態で冷却水槽25
内を通して所要温度(常温)に冷却していた。
ところが、上記従来の冷却手段において前者の
場合は、高温の個包装体が単に山積状に堆積され
ただけのものであるため、放熱効果が非常に悪
く、中心部に位置する個包装体が常温に冷却され
るまでに長時間を要するばかりでなく、冷却が
徐々に行われるため冷却途中で内容物に菌の発育
が促進され包装体の日持ちが悪くなるという問題
点がある。また後者の場合は冷却水により冷却時
間は早まるが、包装体はネツト状コンベア上に載
置されたまま圧扁作用を受けることなく移送され
るため、内容物自体が包装体内で積極的に移動撹
拌されて放熱効果をより一層促進されることがな
く、また包装体の種類によつては水面に浮んでし
まうものもあつたりして冷却作用が不充分となる
とともに、水中より取出した包装体の表面に付着
している水滴を拭き取り場合は、包装体が一個一
個の個々の包装体であるため、これを自動的かつ
確実に高能率に行うことは困難である等の問題点
があつた。
又、常温パツクもしくは低温パツクにおいては
冷却を必要としないが、包装された内容物を熱処
理により殺菌する必要がある。この場合の殺菌処
理は、被殺菌物の中心温度が121℃で1分間処理
したものがF=1として包装袋に表示され、内容
物によつてはF=4またはそれ以上が要求される
場合もある。
前記した従来例は冷却の場合について説明した
が、これを加熱殺菌に適用した場合でも、同様の
問題点を有することは明らかである。
その問題点を解決するため、同一出願人に係る
特願昭63−78087号に先願発明が提案されている。
この先願の発明においては、内容物を充填した連
続帯状包装体をそのまま連続的に冷却装置内を通
過させ、圧扁作用と屈曲作用とを加えて内容物を
流動撹拌し冷却を促進されると同時にシール漏れ
の検品を行う上で前記従来例に比較して極めて優
れたものとなつているのである。そして、この先
願の発明を加熱殺菌に適用した場合にも、内容物
の流動撹拌を行うことで殺菌効果が促進される点
で従来例のものに比べて優れている。

めの熱処理媒体を収納する処理装置と、該処理装
置内において前記連続帯状包装体を張架状態で且
つ上下方向に複数回に亘つて螺旋状に又は8の字
状に搬送しながら圧扁作用を付与する一対のガイ
ド部材を備えた圧扁装置とからなり、該ガイド部
材は前記連続帯状包装体に部分的な屈曲を付与す
る構成にしたことを特徴とする液状物質を封入し
た連続帯状包装体の処理装置を提供するものであ
り、冷却搬送途上において連続帯状包装体に圧扁
作用と部分的な屈曲作用とを付与することで、内
容物の流動撹拌がより一層活発に行われ、それに
よつて加熱殺菌又は冷却が著しく促進されると共
に、連続帯状包装体が螺旋状又は8の字状に搬送
されるの処理装置を著しく小型化できるのであ
る。

内側下部に配設したガイドローラ6を迂回して搬
送され、外部に引出されるように構成されてい
る。
前記ガイド部材2a,2bは、処理装置1の前
段に設けた自動包装装置Aの駆動と同期して駆動
され、例えばギア、チエーン等の適宜の駆動機構
(図示せず)によつて駆動されるようになつてい

個々の包装体の内部で移動し撹拌される。つま
り、ガイド部材2a,2bの回転方向Xに対し、
連続する個々の包装体が捲回し、圧扁作用が付与
されると共に、棒状部材3と当接する側が棒状部
材に対応して凹まされ、部分的に複数個所が屈曲
した状態になる。この屈曲した状態にされること

は8の字状に搬送され、しかもその搬送時に圧扁
装置即ちガイド部材2a,2bによつて上下位置
で複数回に亘り、収納されている内容物に圧扁作
用と撹拌作用とが同時に付与されるので、万遍な
く撹拌され且つ速かに熱処理されるのである。
前記熱処理が冷却の場合、処理装置1内には冷
水が収納され、前段の自動包装装置Aによつて高
温の内容物が連続帯状包装体a内に封入されたも
のを処理装置1内に連続して導入し、ガイド部材
2a,2bにより屈曲と圧扁とを繰返し付与する
ことで、内容物を万遍なく撹拌して速かに冷却
し、特に細菌が繁殖し易い30〜40℃の温度を速か
に通過してそれよりも低温に速かに冷却して内容
物の風味を損わないようにすることができるので
ある。
又、前記熱処理が殺菌処理の場合には、処理装
置1内に熱湯又は内部を高温にし、前記同様に処
理装置内に導入してガイド部材2a,2bにより

内容物が均等に熱処理されると共に、螺旋状又は
8の字状に捲回搬送することで能率良く熱処理す
ることができ、熱処理媒体中の通過時間を短縮で
きるので作業性のアツプが図れるばかりでなく、
冷却にしても加熱にしても短時間で処理されるの
で内容物の色調および風味が損われないという優
れた効果を奏する。
又、熱処理装置は、液状物質を内容物として封
入した連続帯状包装体を冷却するための熱処理媒
体を収納する処理装置と、該処理装置内において
前記連続帯状包装体を張架状態で且つ上下方向に
複数回に亘つて螺旋状は8の字状に搬送しながら
圧扁作用を付与する一対のガイド部材を備えた圧
扁装置とからなり、該ガイド部材は前記連続帯状
包装体に部分的な屈曲を付与する構成にしたこと
によつて、内容物の流動撹拌が確実に且つ活発に
行われ熱処理の促進が図れると共に、特に上下に
配設した一対のガイド部材に螺旋状又は8の字に
捲回して搬送することにより、処理装置を著しく
小型化でき、同時に捲回数を処理時間に対応して
選択することで、所望の時間の処理ができるとい
う優れた効果を奏する。
