けられたカバー35は、被印字体7に接触してい
るため、被印字体7の振動を打撃点の近傍で押え
ることができ、被印字体7の振動により発生する
騒音を低減することができる。また、第3図は、
被印字体7を、カバー35の内側に取り付けられ
た弾性体37で接触させているため、被印字体7
との接触は、密着性がよく、また、減衰効果を持
たせることもできる。このようにして被印字体7
の振動を弾性的に、または、減衰をもつて押える
ことができ印字騒音の低減を図ることができる。
