回転工具装着部材を設けると共に、他端側にビット嵌着
孔を設けたビットホルダーにおいて、前記ホルダー本体
のビット嵌着孔入口側内周面に一部が開口するピン嵌装
切込み溝を、前記ホルダー外周面にその接線方向に開設
し、該切込み溝にビット係止ピンをその両端がビットホ
ルダー本体外周面から若干突出すると共に前記切込み溝
の開口からビット嵌着孔内に臨入するように嵌装し、前
記ピンをビットホルダー本体軸心に向けて押圧するテー
パー状内面を備えた筒状のカバーを、ビットホルダー本
体に外嵌し、該カバーが前記ビット係止ピンを常にビッ
トホルダー本体軸心に向けて押圧するように付勢させる
ビット係止保持ばねをカバー内に嵌装したことを特徴と
