In recent years, corrosion resistance,
There has been a strong demand for metal plates that are excellent in weather resistance, heat resistance, impact resistance, etc., and have high design effects. Therefore, in the past, the surface of stainless steel sheets specified in JISG4305 "Cold rolled stainless steel sheets" was treated with a mixed acid of sulfuric acid and chromic acid or chromate to form a colored film on the surface. Designed stainless steel sheets have been used that have been colored, or those whose surfaces have been colored using this chemical coloring method, and which have been further finished using an embossing method or the like to create irregularities on the surface.

However, even if the conventional decorative steel sheets made of stainless steel sheets as mentioned above are colored using chemical coloring methods, they are very complicated and only a single color can be obtained unless strict process control is carried out, resulting in poor color tone. On the other hand, the method of adding unevenness by embossing etc. can produce a unique three-dimensional pattern due to the uneven surface, but there is a limit to the size of the unevenness, and the pattern form is patterned, so it still becomes monotonous. There was a problem in that it was difficult to easily obtain a stainless steel plate with a design such as a large design or a geometric pattern represented by straight lines.

Therefore, the present invention has a somewhat three-dimensional effect and is different from patterns created by embossing etc.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a highly decorative stainless steel plate having a large and clearly colored pattern, and a manufacturing method for easily obtaining the same.

As a result of various studies to solve the above-mentioned problems, the inventors of the present invention discovered that the surface of a stainless steel plate is colored with a mixed acid of sulfuric acid and chromic acid or a chromate, and other surfaces are colored with a mixed acid of sulfuric acid and chromic acid or chromate. By forming the base surface of the stainless steel plate in which the metal base of the stainless steel plate is exposed by polishing the parts, the desired large and clear pattern can be obtained, unlike a fine uneven pattern such as embossed work. At the same time, the present invention was completed by discovering that a stainless steel design sheet having a somewhat three-dimensional pattern can be obtained by the convex surface of the colored film portion and the concave surface of the polished stainless steel metal base. It is.

In the drawing, 1 is a colored film surface on the surface of a stainless steel plate that is formed in a pattern by being treated with a mixed acid of sulfuric acid and chromic acid or chromate, and the pattern of this colored film surface 1 is shown in Figure 1. Although it is relatively large as shown in FIG. Reference numeral 2 denotes a concave stainless steel sheet base surface in which the colored film surface 1 is polished to a depth deeper than the thickness of the colored film on the colored film surface 1, so that the metal base of the stainless steel sheet is exposed. Note that if this stainless steel plate base surface 2 is mirror-finished by buff polishing, which will be described later, the amount of light reflected will increase, and the contrast with the colored film surface 1 will be further strengthened, resulting in a stainless steel design with excellent design quality. It becomes a steel plate.

As shown in FIG. 5, the method for producing the stainless steel plate according to the present invention is as follows: As shown in FIG. (This fifth
Although not particularly shown in the figure, a colored stainless steel strip 3' is produced by processing the stainless steel strip 3' using a film hardening device (which usually includes a film hardening treatment device) to form a colored film surface 6 on the entire surface, and then using a shearing device 5. It is cut into a desired size (it may not be cut in some cases), and then a desired pattern-shaped coating material 7 having a thickness of 10 to 120 μm is closely adhered to a desired portion on this colored coating surface 6. It can be manufactured by removing the coating material 7 after polishing the colored coating on the portion 8 other than the coating material 7 until at least the stainless steel plate base is exposed.

In addition, the coating material 7 used in this manufacturing method
A metal foil such as a stainless steel foil or an aluminum foil or a surface protection film such as a relatively hard plastic film is suitable as the material, but a method of applying and curing a liquid masking agent is also applicable. The reason why the thickness of the coating material 7 is set to 10 to 120 μm is because if it is thinner than 10 μm, the coating material 7 will be worn or torn by polishing, so the colored coating surface 6 of the necessary parts that should be left without polishing. If it is thicker than 120 μm, the boundaries of the colored film surface 6 that need to be polished will remain unpolished, making it impossible to obtain a clear pattern, which is undesirable. Furthermore, it is desirable to polish to a mirror finish by buffing, and the conditions for this are to use a buff roll in which cartridge-type buffs are connected in the axial direction in the form of a roll, such as those used in ordinary continuous polishing lines. The stainless steel plate to be polished ( A disc-shaped synthetic resin foam (sponge material) that is pressed against the surface of a steel strip (or a steel strip) and rotated in surface contact is used as the buffing material, and the synthetic resin foam and stainless steel are polished from the synthetic resin foam side. In the stainless steel design steel sheet according to the present invention as described above, the surface of the stainless steel sheet has a colored film surface formed by treating with a mixed acid of sulfuric acid and chromic acid or a chromate, and a stainless steel sheet surface formed by polishing. Because it is composed of a steel sheet base surface, the colored part exhibits different color tones such as vivid hue, lightness, and saturation, which are unique to chemical coloring methods, while the stainless steel sheet base surface has a passivation film unique to stainless steel. The formed metal color gives the entire surface a rich and clear pattern with strong contrast, and the surface of the stainless steel plate becomes a concave surface with a large area due to the polished finish.
This results in a large pattern and a somewhat three-dimensional effect.

As shown in Fig. 5, a stainless steel strip (SUS304) 3 with a BA finish of 1.5 mm in thickness and 1000 mm in width was mixed with CrO 3 : 250 g/, H 2 SO 4 :
The stainless steel strip 3 was passed through a continuous coloring device 4 containing 250 g/coloring liquid at a temperature of 80° C. to form a golden colored oxide film on the surface of the stainless steel strip 3. Next, this colored stainless steel strip 3' was sheared using a continuous shearing device 5 to obtain a stainless steel plate (SUS304) 6 having a thickness of 1.5 mm, a width of 1000 mm, and a length of 2000 mm. This sheared stainless steel plate 6 has a thickness of 50 μm, a width of 200 mm, and a length of 2000 mm.
A coating material 7 made of adhesive-coated stainless steel foil is applied in a striped pattern as shown in FIG. It was polished to a mirror finish using a device 9 to form a concave stainless steel plate base surface 2, and finally the stainless steel foil 7 was peeled off to obtain a stainless steel plate with a design.

As described above, the stainless steel plate according to the present invention has a colored film surface formed by treating the surface of the stainless steel plate with a mixed acid of sulfuric acid and chromic acid or a chromate, and a metallic color formed by polishing. Because it consists of a stainless steel plate base surface and a stainless steel plate base surface, the colored film surface has a clear color tone that does not fade or discolor, while the stainless steel plate base surface has a metallic color with a passivation film unique to stainless steel. Because of this, the contrast between the two tones is strong, and the entire surface becomes the desired rich and clear pattern. Moreover, the surface of the stainless steel plate has a large surface area due to its polished finish, unlike finely uneven surfaces created by embossing, etc. Since the concave surface is formed, the design becomes large and also has a somewhat three-dimensional effect.
