Conventionally, this type of paper conveyance device generally has a large-diameter main roll and one or more idle rolls around it, and the gripping force between these rolls is
The paper-like material was conveyed by the rotational force of the main roll. Therefore, not only does the installation space for the conveyance device take up a large amount of space, but also the conveyance device may cause idle feeding due to insufficient gripping force of both rolls, or the conveyed object may be shifted to one side because the contact pressure between both rolls is not constant in the axial direction. There was a risk that problems such as wrinkles would occur. Furthermore, when the object to be conveyed is a photosensitive material, there is a risk that the pressure of both rolls may cause deterioration of image quality such as fog.

In this invention, an electrostatic adsorption plate consisting of a surface adsorption layer made of high dielectric plastic, a group of positive and negative electrodes made of conductive plastic, and an insulating layer made of insulating plastic is placed around the main body of the roll. A rotating roll wound so that the layer is on the outside so that DC power can be applied to the plus and minus electrodes of the electrostatic adsorption plate is placed in front of an image recording or print recording scanning device for scanning of the device. A paper-like guide plate is provided across the surface of the rotary roll facing the device, and the surface of the surface adsorption layer is made to have a different sign from the electrode due to the dielectric polarization phenomenon. By inducing an electric charge, the electrostatic force caused by the electric charge attracts the paper-like object on the opposite surface of the device sandwiched between the guide plates, thereby enabling high-quality image recording or print recording without empty feeding or unevenness. It is composed of guide plates 3 and 4 placed in between. As shown in the second figure, the rotating roll 2 is formed by winding an electrostatic adsorption plate 22 around the circumferential surface of a roll main body 21 via fixing means (not shown) such as double-sided adhesive tape or adhesive. In the guide plates 3 and 4, the paper-like portion a is connected to the rotating roll 2.
As shown in the first diagram, when facing the upper and lower parts of the rotary roll 2 linearly in the tangential direction, the paper-like material a is linearly moved upward or downward. When the paper-like material a is conveyed and faced to each other at a certain angle as shown in the fourth figure, the paper-like material a is conveyed in a parabolic shape. That is, of the guide plates 3 and 4, the upstream guide plate in the conveyance direction of the paper-like material a regulates the angle at which the paper-like material a contacts the rotating roll 2, and the downstream guide plate controls the angle at which the paper-like material a contacts the rotating roll 2. The angle at which the shaped material a is peeled off is regulated.
In the conveyance device shown in the first figure, the inner ends 3a, 4a of both guide plates 3, 4 are formed into tooth shapes and bent toward the roll side in order to prevent paper jams during peeling. When the paper material a is conveyed in one direction, it is sufficient to perform this paper jam prevention process only on the guide plate on the side that regulates the peeling angle.

Reference numeral 5 denotes a light beam scanning device for recording an image on the paper material a, and the light beam scanning device 5 is provided so as to face the rotating roll 2 of the conveyance device 1. Note that when the light beam scanning device is replaced with a thermal head mounted on a carriage, it functions as a thermal printer.

When the tip of the paper material a comes into contact with or comes close to the part 2a of the rotating roll 2 exposed between the opposite ends of the guide plates 3 and 4, it is detected by a sensor (not shown), and the peripheral surface of the rotating roll 2 is detected. A DC power source 22d is connected to the electrode group 22b of the electrostatic adsorption plate 22 constituting the electrostatic adsorption plate 22, and the electrostatic adsorption plate 22 becomes in a state where electrostatic adsorption is possible. Therefore, as the rotary roll 2 rotates, the paper-like materials a are sequentially attracted to the electrostatic attraction plate 22 from the front end side and conveyed. At this time, even if the paper-like material a has some curling at both end portions, it will be adsorbed in a state in which it is in complete contact with the electrostatic adsorption plate 22.

In this way, this invention provides
An electrostatic adsorption plate consisting of a surface adsorption layer made of high dielectric plastic, a group of positive and negative electrodes made of conductive plastic, and an insulating layer made of insulating plastic is wound so that the surface adsorption layer is on the outside. A rotary roll capable of applying DC power to the positive and negative electrode groups of the electrostatic adsorption plate is placed in front of the image recording or print recording scanning device and can be rotated in a direction perpendicular to the scanning direction of the device. Since the paper-like material is installed in such a manner that a paper-like material guide plate is provided across the surface of the rotating roll facing the apparatus, it is no longer necessary to apply a pressing force to support the paper-like material. Even when the photosensitive material is a photosensitive material, it is possible to avoid damage to the photosensitive surface or a reduction in image quality.

Further, according to the present invention, the strength of the adsorption force can be adjusted arbitrarily by changing the power supply voltage applied to the electrostatic adsorption plate, so even if curls occur at both ends of the paper-like object, In addition to ensuring close contact, there is no risk of the paper-like material shifting when being suctioned and conveyed.

Furthermore, according to the present invention, the generation and disappearance of the adsorption force that adsorbs paper-like objects can be easily performed simply by controlling the connection between the electrode group on the electrostatic adsorption plate and the power supply, and the adhesion, retention, and peeling are extremely easy. This has various effects such as being easy and reliable.

In addition, as a result of the adsorption and peeling test of photosensitive materials by the present inventors using the paper-like material conveying device according to the present invention, no static or peeling electrification occurred on the photosensitive materials, and it was found that the photosensitive materials were not statically charged or peeled off due to electrostatic adsorption force. It was confirmed that there was no effect on the photosensitive material due to supporting the photosensitive material.
