is a hinge for screwing the engaging piece 2 onto the connector body 1, and these can be obtained by integrally molding a thermoplastic synthetic resin or the like. As shown in the figure, the engaging pieces 2 are individually screwed on one by one, and are designed to be opened and closed for each unit of optical fiber bar code and photoelectric conversion element.

A guide portion 13 is provided on the same line as the hole 12. In this example, concave portions 14 are provided on both sides of the guide portion 13 and are slightly deeper than the insertion hole 12, respectively. In the figure, 15 is a guide hole for an optical fiber bar code, and 16 is a recess for housing the hinge 3.

Then, as shown in FIG. 3, the fitting recesses 21 firmly clamp and fix the optical fiber bar code 4 from both sides. At this time, as shown in FIG. 4, the optical fiber bar code 4 is deformed into an elliptical shape by the covering material 42 made of polyethylene or the like at the sandwiched portion, but this does not cause any damage to the optical fiber 41 itself. Therefore, the width of the fitting recess 21 of the engagement protrusion 2 may be determined depending on the type and diameter of the optical fiber barcode 4 to be used.

Also fiber optic barcode engagement,
The fixing means is not limited to this example, and any other arbitrary structure may be adopted. Moreover, in the recessed part 14,
As shown in FIG. 5, a grooved guide member 16 for holding only the optical fiber bar code 4 may be provided in a protruding manner.
