Description
【0001】[0001]
The present invention is, for example, a body-wrapping device of a packaging machine that wraps a plurality of stacked sheets of compressible substantially rectangular parallelepiped-shaped contents with a packaging sheet, and more specifically, mounts a compressible substantially rectangular parallelepiped-shaped content on an elevator. Place the upper surface of the contents against the packaging sheet as the elevator rises, and fold this packaging sheet into an inverted U shape along the opposite sides of the contents. Regarding things that are folded and connected along the bottom surface of.
【0002】[0002]
Conventionally, as a body wrapping device of this type of packaging machine, for example, as disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 59-18965, a packaging sheet is horizontally fed in the middle of a hoistway of an elevator, and the hoistway is elevated above the sheet feeding position. A pair of pedestals are rotatably sandwiched between the wrapping sheets, and the upper surface of the contents is abutted against the wrapping sheet as the elevator rises, and the wrapping sheet is further passed between the pair of pedestals. Are folded down in opposite U-shapes along the opposite sides of the contents, and after the contents pass between the two supports, the two supports are turned inside the hoistway to fold the contents. The lowered packaging sheet is partially folded along the corners of the bottom of the contents to support the contents, and then the elevator is lowered and then the folding piece is moved horizontally along the bottom of the contents to fold it down. One end of the wrapped packaging sheet is folded along the bottom of the contents, and then the contents are horizontally moved in the same direction by the pusher, so that the other end of the folded packaging sheet is placed on the bottom of the contents. There is a case in which the body is wrapped along the outside of one end by being folded along and the ends are adhered to each other with glue applied to the inner surface of the other end.
【0003】[0003]
However, in such a conventional wrapping machine for a packaging machine, since both ends of the packaging sheet folded when the contents are simply placed on the elevator are folded along the bottom surface of the contents, Although it is possible to loosen loose packaging sheets between the sides and bottom of the contents by tightening the packaging sheets in the body, there is no function to compress the contents themselves up and down, for example stacking the packages after packaging is completed. If a load is applied to the packaged product, the packaged content is compressed and a gap is created between the packaged product and the packaged product. There is a problem that the contents are damaged due to wrinkles.
In view of such conventional circumstances, the present invention aims to wind the contents tightly while compressing them.
【0005】[0005]
The technical means taken by the present invention to solve the above problems is to arrange a compression receiving plate facing the upper surface of the contents above the elevator via a packaging sheet so that the compression receiving plate can move up and down. The feature is that the plate is moved down and pressed against the upper surface of the contents, and both ends of the folded packaging sheet are folded along the bottom surface of the contents.
【0006】[0006]
According to the above technical means, the contents of the present invention are sandwiched between the elevator and the compression receiving plate by lowering the compression receiving plate and pressing it against the upper surface of the contents after the elevator is raised. Both ends of the packaging sheet that has been compressed vertically and folded down in this compressed state are folded along the bottom surface of the contents.
【0007】[0007]
An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 1, a transfer means A'comprising, for example, a chain pusher is provided horizontally from the supply source of the contents A toward the hoistway 1a of the elevator 1, and the transfer means A'is provided. By intermittent operation, a large number of stacked paper sheets as contents A are horizontally transferred to the upper surface 1b of the elevator 1 waiting at the lower limit position, and are directed from the supply source of the packaging sheet B to the middle of the hoistway 1a. For example, a transporting means B'comprising, for example, a transporting belt and a roller is provided side by side, and by intermittent operation of this transporting means B ', the packaging sheets B are horizontally leveled one by one in the lateral direction orthogonal to the transport direction of the contents A. The sheet is conveyed, and when the center of the packaging sheet B reaches the substantially center of the hoistway 1a, the conveyance is stopped and the packaging sheet B is supported horizontally.
The elevator 1 is linked to a drive source (not shown) via an elevating rod 1c that is hung downwardly below a horizontal upper surface 1b to which the contents A are transferred, and the upper surface 1b is raised and lowered by the operation of this drive source. The structure has a conventionally well-known structure that reciprocates up and down along the path 1a, and its upper surface 1b is formed so that both ends in the transfer direction of the contents A by the transfer means A'can be extended and contracted in the horizontal direction, respectively, and its extension. Make the width dimension the same as the width dimension of the contents A in the transfer direction.
In the case of the present embodiment, the upper surface 1b of the elevator 1 is divided into three parts in the content transfer direction, and one elevating rod 1c1 is connected to the upper surfaces 1b1 and 1b1 located at both ends of the upper part 1b1. Another lifting rod 1c2 is connected to the upper surface 1b2.
Then, the drive sources linked to the lifting rod 1c1 and the lifting rod 1c2 are operated and controlled by a control unit (not shown), and in the initial state, the three upper surfaces 1b1, 1b1, 1b2 stand by at the lower limit position. After the contents A are transferred by the transfer means A ', the lifting rods 1c1, 1c2 are moved upward together from the lower limit position to raise the three upper surfaces 1b1, 1b1, 1b2 at the same time, and these reach the upper limit position. After a predetermined time, the elevator rod 1c1 is first moved downward to lower the upper surfaces 1b1 and 1b1 at both ends, and the elevator rod 1c2 remaining after a short delay is lowered to return to the initial state. .
Further, the upper surfaces 1b1 and 1b1 located at both ends of the elevator 1 are divided into two in the content transfer direction, and the respective divided surfaces 1b3 and 1b3 are formed into a so-called comb tooth shape and fitted to each other. In addition to making it possible to move horizontally in the transfer direction, drive parts 1d, 1d made of, for example, air cylinders, etc. are erected and the upper surfaces 1b1, 1b1 at both ends are actuated by the operation of the respective drive parts 1d, 1d. It expands and contracts in the direction of contents transfer.
The drive units 1d and 1d are similarly operated and controlled by a control unit (not shown), and in the initial state, the upper surfaces 1b1 and 1b1 at both ends are extended and made to stand by, and they are raised from this standby position to reach the upper limit position. Then, the upper surfaces 1b1 and 1b1 at both ends are shortened, and the upper surfaces 1b1 and 1b1 at both ends are extended again while the central upper surface 1b2 descends from the upper limit position or immediately after reaching the lower limit position. Return to.
A pair of folding pieces 2a and 2b are laterally provided on the side of the hoistway 1a so as to be reciprocally movable in the content transfer direction with the hoistway 1a interposed therebetween. Are formed in a flat plate shape whose width dimension in the left-right direction is longer than the width dimension in the left-right direction of the packaging sheet B, and the respective upper surfaces are arranged on the same plane as the upper surface 1b of the elevator 1 which has been raised to the upper limit position, A drive unit (not shown) is connected in series, and the folding pieces 2a and 2b are horizontally moved in and out of the hoistway 1a by the operation of the respective drive units.
The drive units of the folding pieces 2a and 2b are similarly operated and controlled by a control unit (not shown), and in the initial state, the respective inner end edges 2a1 and 2b1 are made to stand by outside the hoistway 1a, and the elevator 1 is operated. The upper surfaces 1b1 and 1b1 located at the both ends of the upper end 1b1 and 1b1 are moved substantially at the same time when the folding pieces 2a and 2b are protruded, and the inner end edges 2a1 and 2b1 of the respective ends are shortened so that the upper ends 1b1 and 1b1 of both ends are protruded. Immediately after the descent of the upper surfaces 1b1 and 1b1 of the above, the folding pieces 2a and 2b are further projected respectively to project the inner end edge 2b1 of the folding piece 2b arranged on the downstream side in the content transfer direction to the vicinity of the central upper surface 1b2. At the same time, the inner edge 2a1 of the folding piece 2a arranged on the upstream side is projected to a position close to the inner end edge 2b1 of the downstream folding piece 2b that has stopped projecting without hitting the central upper surface 1b2. Or only the upstream folding piece 2a is caused to project so that the inner end edge 2a1 of the lower folding piece 2b does not project without hitting the lower central upper surface 1b2 and is projected to the vicinity of the inner end edge 2b1 of the downstream folding piece 2b. After the pusher 5 and the movement guide 6 which will be described later move forward, the folding pieces 2a and 2b are retracted to return to the initial state.
Further, in the middle of the hoistway 1a, a pair of fixed guides 3, 3 are provided upright above the conveying means B'of the packaging sheet B and below the folding pieces 2a, 2b so as to face each other in the content transfer direction. Then, these fixed guides 3, 3 are arranged directly above the side surface A2 on the upstream side and the side surface A2 on the downstream side in the transfer direction of the contents A horizontally transferred to the upper surface 1b of the elevator 1 by the transfer means A '. The space between the two is formed to be substantially the same as the width dimension of the packaged contents A in the transfer direction, and the lower ends of the respective contents are opened obliquely toward the outside of the hoistway 1a.
On the other hand, above the hoistway 1a, a compression receiving plate 4 facing the upper surface A1 of the content A via the packaging sheet B is arranged so as to be vertically movable and horizontally movable in the content transfer direction. At the same time, a pusher 5 is provided upright to face the side surface A2 of the content A raised by the elevator 1 in the content transfer direction upstream side, and if necessary, further faces the side surface A2 of the content A in the content transfer direction downstream side. The moving guide 6 is placed upright in parallel with the pusher 5 with the compression receiving plate 4 interposed therebetween.
The compression receiving plate 4 is formed in the shape of a rectangular horizontal flat plate having a size substantially the same as or slightly smaller than the upper surface A1 of the contents A, and a driving unit (not shown) including, for example, an air cylinder is connected to the upper surface thereof. The compression receiving plate 4 is moved upward and downward and in the content transfer direction by the operation of this drive unit.
The drive unit of the compression receiving plate 4 is operated and controlled by the control unit (not shown) described above, and in its initial state, the compression receiving plate 4 is arranged immediately above the hoistway 1a and is raised by the elevator 1 to the upper limit position. The upper surface A1 of the packaging sheet B and the content A is moved to a standby position higher than the upper surface A1 of the content A, and at the same time as the upper surfaces 1b1, 1b1, 1b2 are lifted or after the lifting is completed, the compression receiving plate 4 is moved downward. After the protrusion pieces 2a and 2b have finished projecting, the compression receiving plate 4 is moved downward and starts to advance to the downstream side in the content transfer direction to determine the width dimension of the content A in the transfer direction. After moving it longer, the compression receiving plate 4 is moved upward, and then retracted to the upstream side in the content transfer direction to return to the initial normal state.
The pusher 5 and the movement guide 6 are formed in a vertical flat plate shape that is longer than the vertical height dimension of the content A, and the distance between them is approximately the same as the width dimension of the packaged content A in the transfer direction. Claws 5a and 6a, which are supported by the lengths and project toward both side surfaces A2 and A2 of the contents A that are lifted by the elevator 1 at their lower ends, are rotatably pivoted, respectively, and at the upper ends of these are shown. A drive unit is provided in series, and the pusher 5 and the movement guide 6 are moved in the content transfer direction and the vertical direction by the operation of the drive unit.
The drive unit of the pusher 5 and the moving guide 6 is also operation-controlled by the above-mentioned control unit (not shown), and in the initial state, the pusher 5 and the moving guide 6 are arranged directly above the fixed guides 3 and 3, and The claws 5a, 6a are made to stand by close to the folding pieces 2a, 2b, and simultaneously with the forward movement of the compression receiving plate 4, the forward movement to the downstream side in the content transfer direction is started, and the width dimension of the content A in the transfer direction is determined. After moving for a long time, simultaneously with the upward movement of the compression receiving plate 4, the pawls 5a, 6a are moved up to a position higher than the upper surface A1 of the contents A, and then the compression receiving plate 4 is retracted and the pusher 5 and the movement guide 6 are moved. While retreating to the upstream side of the content transfer direction, move downward to return to the initial normal state.
Further, in the drawing, 7 is a stopper against which the contents A horizontally transferred by the transfer means A ′ abut, and C is the other end B2 of the packaging sheet B while being horizontally transferred by the transfer means B ′. It is the glue applied to the inner surface of the.
Next, the operation of the body wrapping device of such a packaging machine will be described.
First, by intermittent operation of the transfer means A ′, one content A is horizontally transferred to the upper surface 1b of the elevator 1 waiting at the lower limit position as shown in FIG. 1, and the transfer means B ′ is intermittently transferred. When one packaging sheet B is horizontally conveyed by the automatic operation, the three upper surfaces 1b1, 1b1, 1b2, which is the entire upper surface 1b of the elevator 1, simultaneously rises as shown by the chain double-dashed line in FIG. 1 and FIG. Then, the upper surface A1 of the contents A is abutted against the central portion of the packaging sheet B, and the body winding is started.
When the contents A pass between the fixed guides 3 and 3 and between the pusher 5 and the moving guide 6 due to the subsequent ascent, the packaging sheet B faces the opposite side surfaces A2, A of the contents A. 2 is folded down into an inverted U-shape, and at the same time as or after the end of ascending, the compression receiving plate 4 moves downward as shown by the chain double-dashed line in FIG. 1 and in FIG. While being pressed against the upper surface A1 of the content A, the content A is sandwiched between the upper surfaces 1b1, 1b1, 1b2 of the elevator 1 and the compression receiving plate 4 and compressed vertically.
After that, the upper surfaces 1b1 and 1b1 located at both ends of the elevator 1 are shortened as shown in FIG. 4, and substantially at the same time, the folding pieces 2a and 2b are projected to move, and the folded packaging sheet B is folded. At the same time as folding the base ends of both ends B1 and B2 along the bottom surface A3 of the partially compressed contents A, the inner end upper surfaces of the folding pieces 2a and 2b are replaced by the shortened upper surfaces 1b1 and 1b1. Supports both ends of the bottom surface A3 of the contents A horizontally.
Following this, the upper surfaces 1b1 and 1b1 at both ends are lowered as shown in FIG. 5, and immediately after the lowering is started, the folding pieces 2a and 2b further project and move, respectively, and one end of the folded packaging sheet B is cut off. B1 and the other end B2 are folded along the bottom surface A3 of the partially compressed contents A, or only the folding piece 2a on the upstream side is projected to move so that one end B1 of the folded packaging sheet B is formed. Fold only along the bottom surface A3 of the partially compressed contents A.
When the entire contents A can be supported by the protruding folding pieces 2a and 2b, the upper surface 1b2 located at the center of the remaining elevator 1 descends as shown in FIG. The folding piece 2a on the side protrudes and folds the one end B1 of the packaging sheet B along the bottom surface A3 of the content A compressed to the tip.
Then, the compression receiving plate 4 and the pusher 5 and the moving guide 6 which have moved downwards move forward as shown in FIG. 7, and the folding piece 2a which protrudes while holding the contents A between them, The contents A are horizontally transferred along the upper surface of 2b, and the other end B2 of the wrapping sheet B hung down by this is folded along the bottom surface A3 of the contents A compressed to the leading end, and the already folded packaging sheet B is folded. It is superposed on the outer side of the one end B1 and adhered with glue C to complete the body winding.
After that, the compression receiving plate 4, the pusher 5, and the movement guide 6 move upward, and the contents A for which the body winding has been completed are sequentially transferred to and transferred to the selvage folding device in the subsequent step by another transfer means (not shown). At the same time, only the pusher 5 and the moving guide 6 move downward while the compression receiving plate 4, the pusher 5 and the moving guide 6 move backward, and the above-mentioned operation is repeated thereafter.
FIG. 8 shows another embodiment of the present invention in which the upper surface 1b is moved in the content transfer direction corresponding to the case where the width dimension of the content A in the transfer direction is short. It is divided into two parts, and these two upper surfaces 1b4, 1b4 are each configured to be extendable / contractable in the content transfer direction, and the elevating rods 1c3, 1c3 are hung downward and successively moved downward.
In this case, it differs from the previous embodiment only in that the folding piece 2b on the downstream side is caused to project only once in association with the shortening movement of the upper surface 1b4 arranged on the downstream side in the content transfer direction. Otherwise, the operation is similar to that of the embodiment shown above.
In the above-described embodiment, the case where the content A is a stack of a large number of papers has been shown, but the present invention is not limited to this, and the content A may be a vertically-compressible box-shaped body. Similarly, in this case, it is not necessary to divide the upper surface 1b of the elevator 1 into a plurality of pieces in the content transfer direction, and only one lifting rod 1c is required.
【0034】[0034]
Since the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, it has the following advantages.
1. After the elevator has risen, the compression receiving plate is moved downward and pressed against the upper surface of the content, so that the content is sandwiched between the elevator and the compression receiving plate and compressed vertically, and this compressed state remains. Since both ends of the folded packaging sheet are folded along the bottom of the contents, the contents can be wrapped tightly while being compressed.
[0036] Therefore, a conventional one in which both ends of a packaging sheet that is folded down without compressing the content itself up and down is folded along the bottom surface of the content while the content is only placed on the elevator. Compared with the above, even if a load is applied to the packaged items such as stacking the packaged items after the packaging is finished, the packaged contents are not compressed more than that, and the load collapses in the packaging sheet or Wrinkles can be prevented and the contents can be protected without being damaged.
