Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the title paint which can expand immediately after spraying and can readily give a three-dimensional picture, character or the like by dissolving a resin in a liquefied gas as a propellant and packaging the solution into an aerosol container. CONSTITUTION:A resin is dissolved in a liquefied gas as a propellant. Examples of the liquefied gas include HFC-134a, HCFC-22, HCFC-142b and HFC-152a. Examples of the resin include an acrylic resin, a ketone resin and an aldehyde resin. This solution is mixed with suitable amounts of optional additives such as water, a surfactant, a plasticizer, an easily volatile solvent of a boiling point of about 60 deg.C or below, a dye, a pigment, a metallic powder, a pH adjuster and a thickener, and the resulting mixture is packaged into an aerosol container. The obtained aerosol foaming paint can expand immediately after spraying, so that it is desirable for applications such as forming a three-dimensional picture, character or the like on, e.g. a show window.

2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, an increasing number of people are decorating shop windows and window glasses of homes by themselves, and there is an increasing demand for those who can easily draw pictures and characters. At present, what is called an aerosol-type snow spray that is used to decorate with one's own hands is made to look like snow. This is applied to glass to form a powdery coating that looks like snow.If you want to draw pictures or letters, it is necessary to use a paper pattern such as a punch, giving a three-dimensional effect. I can't. The other is special ink that expands for the purpose of drawing inflated pictures and letters. In this method, paper or cloth is applied, and after application, heat is applied with a dryer or iron to foam.

What is called an aerosol type snow spray has the following drawbacks. That is,
This alone does not give a three-dimensional effect, and when decorating a three-dimensional picture or character, the step of cutting out the shape of the picture or character and attaching it with a thick plate-like object such as Styrofoam must be taken in advance. It requires considerable effort and experience. In addition, when removing it, a considerable amount of labor is required, such as wiping with alcohol or glass cleaner with a great deal of force. The foaming special ink has the following drawbacks. This requires a post-process of applying heat to cause foaming after application, and does not consider removal, and thus is very difficult to remove. The present invention, three-dimensional pictures and characters, as a result of earnestly studying for the purpose of providing what can be easily drawn on the glass surface or wall, the three-dimensional pictures and characters can be drawn just by spraying, We have completed an aerosol-type foam paint that can be removed simply by peeling by hand.

The resulting jetted product swells due to the evaporation of the liquefied gas or the easily volatile solvent, and the one to which water and the surfactant are added becomes a further swollen foam due to the foaming force. Further, the addition of a plasticizer compatible with the resin also softens the resin, so that the degree of foaming can be increased. The degree of foaming can also be adjusted by changing the coating speed and the distance to the object to be coated. The slower the coating speed and the closer the distance, the more expanded the foam is obtained.

According to the present invention, a three-dimensional picture or a character can be drawn only by spraying, and the removal is as simple as peeling by hand. And what added water, a surfactant, and a plasticizer arbitrarily to this becomes easy to peel, and becomes hard to remain on a to-be-coated article, such as glass. Any of these surfactants and plasticizers may be used, but preferably they are compatible with the resin that is the main constituent of the foam.
