【考案の詳細な説明】 [産業上の利用分野] 本考案は湯水混合水栓等の水栓においてその水栓本体の
ハンドル軸の突出部分を被うカバー体の取付構造に関す

[従来の技術] 湯水混合水栓,サーモスタツトミキシングバルブ等の水
栓においては、吐湯量調節,吐水量調節,或いは湯水混
合比調節等のためのハンドルが設けられる。従来このハ
ンドルの基部即ち水栓本体のハンドル軸突出部分を被う
帽状のカバー体の取付構造は、例えば実公昭56−37
175号公報に示されたものがある。それはサーモスタ
ツトミキシングバルブの吐水温度調節用ハンドルに実施
されたものであるが、カバー体(環体)の内周面に形成
した溝にバネ材を内嵌し、該バネ材を水栓本体のハンド
ル軸突出部分に螺着した筒状螺合体(蓋体)の外周に圧
着させその圧着力で該カバー体の脱落を防ぐように構成
したものであつた。しかしこの従来公知の構成ではカバ
ー体の取付状態がルーズになり易くカバー体の端縁が水
栓本体から離間して隙間から内部が見えるようになり見

[目的を達成するための手段] 上記目的を達成するため本考案に係る水栓のカバー体取
付構造は、水栓本体のハンドル軸突出部分に螺着される
筒状螺合体の外周に水栓本体側に向って小径となる傾斜
面を形成し、該筒状螺合体を被うカバー体の内周にイン
ナー溝を形成し、該インナー溝に内嵌したスプリングリ
ングの一部を前記傾斜面上にその小径側へ摺動可能に弾

[実施例] 次に図面と共に本考案の一実施例を説明する。この実施
例に示した湯水混合水栓は水平な取付板1上に吐水温度
調節用ハンドル2と吐止水ハンドル3とを突出状に取付
けてなるもので、水栓本体4は給湯接続口5と給水接続
口6と混合流路7と吐水接続口8が形成され、混合流路
7と給湯接続口5,給湯接続口6とは湯側弁孔9,水側
弁孔10をもつて夫々連通し、混合流路7と吐水接続口8
とは吐水弁孔11をもつて連通し得るようになつている。
また水栓本体4には筒状部12および筒状部13が並設さ
れ、該筒状部12,13の内周には夫々雌螺子14,15およびこ
れより大径の雌螺子16,17が形成され該雌螺子14,15には
ハンドル軸18,19の雄螺子26,27が夫々螺合し、雌螺子1
6,17には筒状のパツキン押え20,21が螺合しハンドル軸1
8,19は該パツキン押え20,21中に貫挿されている。22,23
はパツキンである。ハンドル軸18の内端部には前記湯側
弁孔9と水側弁孔10との間に位置するよう弁体24が設け
られている。25はハンドル軸18の雄螺子26と弁体24との
間に設けられた軸シールパツキンである。またハンドル
軸19の内端部には吐水弁孔11と相対する止水弁28が設け
られている。吐水温度節用ハンドル2および吐止水ハン
ドル3はハンドル軸18,19の外端部に夫々ビス29,30をも
つて固着されている。筒状部12,13の基部外周にはフラ
ンジ30,31が一体に形成され、該フランジより先方には
雄螺子32,33が形成されている。該筒状部12,13は取付板
1に開設した透孔35,36に下方より貫挿され、該取付板
1上に突出させる。そして雄螺子32,33に筒状螺合体37,
38を螺着し締付固定する。39,40はその締付部に介在さ
せた板状パツキンである。筒状螺合体37,38の外周面に
は縦方向のスプライン溝41および環状のアウター溝42が
刻設されている。アウター溝42は第2図に拡大して示し
たように断面V字形で、水栓本体4側に向って小径とな
る傾斜面42aを有している。43,44は筒状螺合体37,38を
被い中心にハンドル軸18,19の貫通孔が形成された帽状
のカバー体で、その内周面には前記スプライン溝41に合
致するスプライン溝45、および、環状のインナー溝46が
刻設されている。該インナー溝46は断面コ字形である。
該インナー溝46中には第5図に示したように線状バネ材
を角丸正四角形状に折曲してなるスプリングリング47を
内嵌する。そしてこれを筒状螺合体37,38の外周に被せ
たとき該スプリングリング47の四辺の中間長さ部位が第
2図に示されるようにアウター溝42の傾斜面42aをその
小径側へ摺動可能に弾性的に押圧するようにする。こう
することでカバー体43,44はその傾斜面42aからの反力が
矢印bで示したように働らき該カバー体43,44の下端開
口縁を取付板34の上面に圧着させることができる。この
ため取付板1の上面に隙間なくカバー体43,44を取付で
きる。このことは例えば取付板1の上面がタイル貼りさ
れていて凹凸があるような場合においても隙間を生じさ

取付板面等水栓本体側に圧着させることができカバー体
或いは筒状螺合体等に成形上の誤差で多少の寸法のバラ
ツキが生じていたとしても或いは取付板面等に多少の凹
凸があつたとしてもアウター溝の傾斜面の範囲において
その誤差が吸収されカバー体を何時でも隙間なく取付け
ることができる。そしてカバー体に何らかの外力が働い
て取付板面等から浮くことがあつたとしてもこの取付構
造によればスプリングリングの弾性により元に自然と修
