A conventional transformer of this type is disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 57-10704. In this transformer, when a copper wire is wound around a bobbin in order to obtain a creepage distance and a clearance distance that meet safety standards, a certain width of adhesive is applied to the inner cylinder part (winding drum part) of both collars of the bobbin. The tape is laminated and wound to form a barrier, the first layer of copper wire is coiled between the barriers, an insulating sheet is then wound on the barrier wire, and adhesive tape is similarly applied to both upper end surfaces of the insulating sheet. A barrier is formed by winding the laminated layers, and the second-layer copper wire is wound between the barriers. In this way, the work of winding the insulating sheet on the coil copper wire, the work of forming the barrier by winding the adhesive tape on both sides of the insulating sheet, and the work of winding the coil copper wire on the insulating sheet of the barrier winding are sequentially repeated. As a result, a laminated winding transformer is formed.

For example, pin supports 3 and 4 are arranged in a fixed state on the work table 1 on both sides of the insulating sheet 2.
Further, guide pins 5 and 6 project from the pin supports 3 and 4 above the end edge surface of the insulating sheet 2 in a lateral direction substantially perpendicular to the insulating sheet 2. The guide pins 5 and 6 are fixed so that they cannot move in the axial direction, but they need not necessarily be configured so that they cannot rotate. Then, guide grooves 10 for preventing lateral displacement of barrier material sheets 7 and 8 described later are formed in the guide pins 5 and 6 as needed (FIG. 3). The pin supports 3 and 4 are further provided with movable pins 11 and 12 which are at the same height as the guide pins 5 and 6 and are separated from the guide pins 5 and 6 by a predetermined distance in the feeding direction of the insulating sheet 2. The guide pins 5 and 6 are arranged in the same direction. The movable pins 11 and 12 can freely move back and forth in the axial direction. The forward and backward movements of the movable pins 11 and 12 are performed by an air cylinder mechanism, a hydraulic cylinder mechanism, and an electromagnetic reciprocating mechanism which are formed inside the pin supports 3 and 4. This is performed by operating a desired forward / backward drive mechanism such as a moving mechanism. The advancing / retreating drive mechanism, the pin supports 3 and 4, the guide pins 5 and 6, and the movable pins 11 and 12 constitute pin driving means.

As described above, according to this embodiment, every time the insulating sheet 2 and the barrier material sheets 7 and 8 are fed by one pitch, the welding head 13 is lowered to deform the barrier material sheets 7 and 8 into a corrugated shape. By welding the corrugated bottom portion 14 to the insulating sheet 2, a corrugated barrier is formed over a desired length.
Can be easily performed on-line for coil winding or at the preparation stage of coil winding work. Moreover, the barrier material sheets 7 and 8 are sent out, and the welding head 13
The up and down movement of the movable pins 11 and 12 and the forward and backward movements of the movable pins 11 are very simple. Also, the operation of joining the corrugated bottom portion 14 of the barrier material sheets 7 and 8 to the insulating sheet 2 is instantly performed by welding. Since it can be performed, the work of forming the barrier on the insulating sheet 2 can be automated. When the coil is wound, the barrier can be formed only by winding the barrier portion 23b around the coil bobbin 18 for one turn, which is advantageous in automating the coil winding.
