Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable easy access to a body of catalyst in its maintenance, relating to a device for disposal of waste in which the body of catalyst is used as a means of cleaning the exhaust gas, without involving deterioration of the cleaning capacity when the catalyst, contained in a cleaning vessel, has lost its ability to function properly. CONSTITUTION:Inside an exhaust cleaner 15 there are provided a body of catalyst 10 and a cleaner heater 11 for heating the catalyst 10. At the bottom of the incineration furnace 2 an air-feeding inlet 12 is formed in a setup to produce a blast of air by an air-feeding device 13 and force it into a combustion vessel 7 through a cylindrical part 9. Structurally the exhaust cleaner 15 is composed of a cleaner casing 15a and a cleaner lid 15b; inside the cleaner casing 15a a partition plate 16 is provided; the body of catalyst 10 is fixed to a receptacle plate 17 and placed close to and over the partition plate 16. When the body of catalyst 10 requires cleaning or replacement because of obstruction of the passages therein or its deterioration, the cleaner lid 15b is opened and the body of catalyst 10 is detached, together with the receptacle plate 17, and maintenance is provided as required.
