Abstract

PURPOSE:To efficiently remove a foreign matter adhered to a surface or an end face of a laminated plate by a simple method by cutting a metal foil of a prepreg impregnated with thermosetting resin by a laminating predetermined size, then bringing adhesive rollers into contact with the surface or the end face of the plate, and passing it. CONSTITUTION:A predetermined number of prepregs impregnated with thermosetting resin are superposed on a fiber base material or a metal foil is superposed on one side or both side faces of the prepreg impregnated with the resin. A laminated plate is heated, pressurized, molded, and cut to a predetermined size such as 100X100cm. Then, in order to remove a foreign matter adhered to a surface of the plate, the plate is passed between a pair or a plurality of pairs of adhesive rollers. The matter adhered to the surface of the plate is removed by separate pair of rollers at each opposed two sides. Accordingly, a moving direction or direction of the plate is altered at 90 degrees to be conducted. Since the rollers are formed on surfaces of synthetic resin such as adhesive polyisobutylene, etc., the surface of the plate is not damaged.

2. Description of the Related Art A laminate obtained by impregnating a fiber base material such as glass fiber with a thermosetting resin and heat-pressing it is used for a printed circuit board, a multilayer printed circuit board and the like. After forming such a laminated plate, the end part is cut off and cut to a predetermined size. At the time of this cutting, powder of the laminated plate called "cutting powder" is generated and adheres to the cut surface or rises once. Adhere to the surface. In addition to dust, floating dust also adheres. If the laminated plates with the foreign matter adhered thereon are stacked for transportation, the surface may be damaged, or a circuit may be defective in etching when forming a circuit or forming a multilayer structure. As methods for removing such foreign matter from the laminated plate, methods such as blowing with air and cleaning the room using a dust collector have been sought, but this is not enough, and it is still a complete solution. Has not arrived.

According to the present invention, a predetermined number of prepregs in which a fibrous base material is impregnated with a thermosetting resin, or one or both surfaces of the prepregs are overlaid with a metal foil and heated and pressed to form a laminate. Then, after being cut to a predetermined size, at least one roller is allowed to pass between a pair of rollers, which are adhesive rollers, in contact with the surface and / or the end surface of the laminated plate, and the laminated plate is manufactured. An example of the method for manufacturing a laminated board of the present invention will be described in the order of steps. The copper clad laminate formed by a usual method is cut at the end portion and then cut into a predetermined size (for example, 100 × 100 cm). Then, the laminated plate is passed between a pair of or a plurality of pairs of adhesive rollers in order to remove foreign matters attached to the surface of the laminated plate. The foreign matter adhering to the end faces of the laminated plate can be removed by a pair of different rollers for each of the two opposite sides. Therefore, in this case, it is necessary to change the moving method or the direction of the laminated plate by 90 degrees. As the adhesive roller, at least the roller surface is formed of an adhesive synthetic resin, and a roller that does not damage the surface of the laminated plate, that is, a roller that has flexibility is used. Preferred materials include polyisobutylene and butylene-isoprene copolymer. In this way, the foreign matter attached to the surface and the end surface of the laminated plate can be removed. Next, an appropriate number of laminated boards are stacked and temporarily stored, or immediately sent to a processing step for processing the next circuit board.

EXAMPLE A glass fiber base material epoxy resin copper clad laminate laminated and molded by a usual method was cut into a size of 100 × 100 cm. Then, the following processing operations were performed for removing foreign substances. This operation was continuously performed for 100 sheets, and after 100 sheets were processed, the presence or absence of foreign matter on the surface of the laminated plate was observed. Example 1 The surface of the laminate and the end face were treated with a pair of adhesive rollers. << Comparative Example 1 >> Foreign matter was blown off by blowing air onto the surface and end faces of the laminate. << Comparative Example 2 >> The cutting treatment and the treatment with air of Comparative Example 1 were performed in a clean room equipped with a dust remover. The number of laminated plates with foreign matter attached was as follows.
