随時適正な焦点距離等のものと交換する必要がある。そ
こで、この対物光学系としては、予め各種焦点距離が異
なるものを用意しておき、挿入部先端側に交換自在に着
脱させるため、着脱機構を備えた構成のものが開発され
ている。

端側から一定量突出して設けてある光学繊維束をアダプ
タ本体所定位置に形成された挿通孔に挿通させておくよ
うになっている。
