[Prior art]

Conventionally, as an aqualung type breathing apparatus used for scuba diving or underwater work, for example, a large air cylinder (150 to 200 atm), a mouthpiece, and an air hose that connects these air cylinders to the mouthpiece. A breathing device is provided. A decompression mechanism is provided on the air cylinder side, and the high-pressure air in the cylinder is once decompressed by this decompression device and then sent to the air hose. On the other hand, a pressure adjusting device is provided on the mouthpiece side, and the air sent from the air hose can be adjusted to any pressure by this pressure adjusting device. This large air cylinder is very heavy, and it is used with a belt for fixing the body so that the diver can carry it while diving. By using this diving equipment, it is possible to stay in the water for a long time, and especially when diving deep in water, this kind of diving equipment is an indispensable item. And, as the aqualung breathing apparatus of this type, only the above type is commercially available.

On the other hand, when diving for a few minutes, such as diving in shallow water, for example, underwater work for removing things entangled in the screw of a ship, the large-sized aqualung The equipment is too heavy equipment, and the diving often causes physical distress. Therefore, there is a demand for a small and simple diving device that facilitates such a short-time dive.

A valve is provided.

According to the above structure, a small air cylinder is used, and the air cylinder is directly attached to the main body through a short joint without using a long air hose. Therefore, the whole device is very compact. Therefore, the overall weight of the device has been reduced, which not only improves operability regardless of where it is used on the ground or underwater, but is also very convenient to carry. Further, in the above structure, the joint includes a joint main body, and a pair of check valves that are provided in the joint main body and that form the passage that sends air in the air cylinder to the pressure reducing mechanism. The pair of check valves is a first check valve located near the pressure reducing mechanism, and has a hollow inside in the axial direction and a part of the hollow is tapered so as to expand toward the pressure reducing mechanism. A first check valve having a first check valve sheet formed in a shape of a circle, a ball accommodated in the tapered hollow, and a second check valve positioned near the air cylinder. And a second check valve seat, which has a hollow inside in the axial direction and a part of the hollow is formed in a taper shape so as to spread in the air cylinder direction, and the second check valve seat. The second check valve seat is internally fitted with a gap in the hollow and formed on the second check valve seat. The second check valve includes a valve rod having a valve portion that engages with the tapered inner surface and a biasing means that biases the valve rod toward the decompressor. The portion of the stop valve seat close to the pressure reducing mechanism is formed in a concave shape so that it can be engaged with the portion of the first check valve seat close to the air cylinder, and the second check valve is formed into a concave shape. One end near the mechanism is opened by being pressed by one end near the air cylinder of the first check valve seat, and one end near the air cylinder of the first check valve seat is connected to the valve rod. It is preferable that an opening communicating with the hollow formed in the first check valve seat is formed at a position deviated from the contact position and the engagement position of the concave inner surface of the second check valve seat.

According to the above configuration, the one end of the first check valve seat near the air cylinder and the one end of the second check valve seat near the pressure adjusting body are engaged with each other, and The one end of the check valve seat near the pressure adjusting body of the valve rod is pressed by the one end of the first check valve seat near the air cylinder, so that the air in the air cylinder moves to the second check valve seat. And the valve rod that is fitted in the seat, and communicates with the opening from the opening formed at one end of the first check valve seat near the air cylinder through the gap that is formed between the valve rod and the valve rod. You will be guided to the hollow. At this time, the ball housed in the tapered recess formed in the first check valve seat is pressed toward the pressure adjusting main body, and the air flows between the ball and the inner surface of the tapered recess. It is sent toward the pressure adjusting body through the gap formed in.

On the other hand, with the second check valve seat fixed to the air cylinder side and the first check valve sheet fixed to the joint body side, the second check valve seat is moved to the first check valve seat. When separated from the seat, the valve rod of the second check valve is pressed in the anti-air cylinder direction by the urging means attached to the second check valve. As a result, the valve portion provided on the valve rod is pressed against the inner surface of the tapered recess formed in the second check valve seat, and the passage of the air supplied from the air cylinder is automatically shut off. To be done.

When this breathing apparatus is used in water, when the air in the air cylinder is running low and the air pressure in the cylinder is reduced, water entering from the mouthpiece or the like due to the influence of water pressure. However, it begins to flow back into the air cylinder through the air passage formed in the main body. However, at this time, the ball of the first check valve is pressed against the inner surface of the tapered recess formed in the first check valve seat, the passage is blocked, and the reverse flow is blocked.

In order to solve the above problems, a breathing apparatus having the following configuration is provided.

That is, this breathing apparatus connects a main body portion, a pair of air cylinders, and a passage for connecting the main body portion and the pair of air cylinders to each other to supply the air in the air cylinders to the main body portion. This is the case when the breathing time is too short when using the above-mentioned breathing apparatus, and it takes a long breathing time to use the conventional breathing apparatus, which is inconvenient and heavy. In such a case, this device can be preferably used. In addition, this air cylinder can be easily and easily attached to the body through a cylinder-inserting jacket dedicated to the cylinder in a short time. That is, the jacket itself can be easily worn on the body by passing both hands through it, and after putting on the jacket, all that is required is to insert an air cylinder into the pocket provided in the jacket. Be arranged. Therefore, for example, in diving work and the like, by wearing the jacket on the body in advance, the time required for the preparation for diving and the like can be further shortened and the work efficiency can be improved.

Further, since a relatively small air cylinder is used in the breathing apparatus as described above, the entire system is inevitably made compact and lightweight, and as a result, it is compact and portable. It has excellent properties.

And a biasing means, wherein a portion of the second check valve seat near the main body portion is formed in a concave shape so that it can be engaged with a portion of the first check valve seat near the first connector. The second check valve is opened by pressing one end of the valve rod closer to the main body portion with one end of the first check valve seat closer to the first connector, thereby opening the first check valve seat. The first check valve seat is formed at one end near the first connector at a position away from the contact position with the valve rod and the engagement position with the concave inner surface of the second check valve seat. It is preferable that an opening communicating with the hollow is formed.

According to the above configuration, the one end of the first check valve seat, which is close to the first connector, and the one end of the second check valve seat, which is close to the main body, are engaged with each other, and the second check valve seat is engaged.
