The inner surface of the bamboo tube 8 is the inner skin 3 of the bamboo material, and has a loose bamboo fiber uneven pattern 9. Next, the bamboo tube 8 is cut into one piece as shown by the one-dot chain line in FIG. 4, or cut into two pieces as shown by the two-dot chain line. Then, the thus cut open piece is softened by a wet procedure of passing it through hot water or the like or a dry procedure of heating with fire, etc., and the softened piece is pressed through a backing plate to be pressure-molded into a flat shape, then The strip 1 or the colored paper 5 is formed by cutting into a rectangle or a rectangle. In this case, the skin 7 side is scraped off so that the bamboo cylinder 8 is about 1 mm to 4 mm, preferably about 2 mm, and the cutting surface 4 side of the bamboo flat plate 2 is appropriately impregnated with the resin liquid so that the shape can be easily maintained. Good.

ている。As described above, in the above-described embodiment, since the inner surface skin 3 of the bamboo plate 2 formed by cutting open the bamboo material 6 having the skin 7 side cut off is the surface of the strip 1 or the colored paper 5, the poem, haiku, Drawings, calligraphy, etc. are well adapted to the loose bamboo fiber unevenness pattern 9 on the inner surface 3 of the bamboo material, and an elegant and poetic feeling can be obtained. In addition, the inner surface skin 3 of the bamboo material has a good writing quality like Kanji paper, and is clearly expressed without blurring of black ink, crossing feeling, and light and shade. Moreover, since the ink or the like written on the inner skin 3 of the bamboo material is erased by washing, it can be used any number of times, which is more economical than the conventional one that can be used only once.
