Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】折り畳み可能な携帯電話機で、折り畳み時と開
いたときに送受話回路と表示の制御方法を変える。 【構成】内蔵の送話器２４と受話器２１を用いヒンジ部
１３を開いて通話するときは、スイッチ２３，２５をオ
ンとして送受話可能とする。ヒンジ部１３を閉じるとス
イッチ２３，２５をオフとして送受話回路を切る。外付
けの送話器３２と受話器３１が繋がっているときは、通
話中は常にスイッチ２３と２５をオンのままとしてお
く。ヒンジ部１３が開いているときは、スイッチ４３を
オンとして表示を行う。ヒンジ部１３を閉じるとスイッ
チ４３をオフとして表示部４１，表示駆動回路４２の電
源を切る。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は折り畳み可能な携帯電話
機に関し、特に折り畳み時と開いたときの制御方法に関
する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】従来の折り畳み可能な携帯電話機には、
例えば折り畳んだ状態で電源スイッチの操作ができ且つ
オン，オフ状態と着信状態を目視可能としたもの（特開
平４−１１６５５号公報）や、折り畳んだときスイッチ
部を保護する保護カバーに電卓モジュールを取り付けた
もの（特開平４−１１７８４８号公報）などがある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかし、この従来の携
帯電話機はいずれも折り畳み時の送受話の制御方法を考
慮したものではないので、送話器と受話器の接近による
ハウリングの発生の恐れがあり、また折り畳んだとき表
示部等で電流を消費するので、電池の寿命が短くなると
いう問題点があった。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明の携帯電話機は、
少なくとも表示部と受話器を収容した第１の箱形部材
と、少なくとも送話器を収容した第２の箱形部材とがヒ
ンジ部により折り畳み可能に結合されて構成され、前記
折り畳み時に表示部が見えなくなるとともに前記送話器
と受話器への電源供給回路を切断することを特徴とす
る。
【０００５】また、外部に第２の送話器と第２の受話器
とを付加したときは、前記第１および第２の箱形部材内
の前記送話器と受話器のうち送話器の回路のみを切り、
前記折り畳み時には前記電源供給回路を切断しないよう
にしても良い。

【実施例】次に本発明について図面を参照して説明す
る。
【０００７】図１は本発明の携帯電話機の一実施例を示
すブロック図である。第１の箱型部材１１と第２の箱型
部材１２とはヒンジ部１３により折り畳み可能に連結さ
れ、箱型部材１２には送話器２４を内蔵し、箱型部材１
１には受話器２１を駆動するアンプ２２と、受話器２１
への電源供給をオン／オフするスイッチ２３と、箱型部
材１２に内蔵の送話器２４の送話の音声をオン／オフす
るスイッチ２５と、送受信器２６と、外付け受話器３
１，外付け送話器３２を接続するためのジャック３３
と、表示器４１と、表示器４１の駆動回路４２と、駆動
回路４２の電源供給をオン／オフするスイッチ４３とを
内蔵している。なおスイッチ２３，２５，４３にはソフ
トウェア制御でオン／オフする。
【０００８】内蔵の受話器２１と送話器２４とを用いる
ときはジャック３３に外付け受話器３１と外付け送話器
３２を繋がないでおく。このときは、ジャック３３は受
話器２１および２４を送受信器２６と繋いでいる。
【０００９】この状態でヒンジ部１３を開いて通話する
と、スイッチ２３とスイッチ２５がオン状態となり受話
器２１，送話器２４は共に使用可能である。そして、ヒ
ンジ部１３を閉じるとスイッチ２３とスイッチ２５はオ
フされる。その結果、折り畳んだ状態ではアンプ２２の
電源がオフとなり受話器２１が切られ、またスイッチ２
５がオフになるため送話器２４も切られる。
【００１０】外付け受話器３１と送話器３２が繋がって
いる時は、ジャック３３は内蔵の受話器２１と送話器２
４を切り離して外付け受話器３１と外付け送話器３２を
送受信器２６と繋ぐ。そして、通話中はスイッチ２３と
スイッチ２５はオンのままとしておく。
【００１１】さらに、ヒンジ部１３が開いているとき
は、スイッチ４３をオンとして駆動回路４２は表示部４
１を駆動する。そして、ヒンジ部１３を閉じると、スイ
ッチ４３をオフとして表示部４１，駆動回路４２の電源
を切る。
【００１２】なお、ヒンジ部１３の開閉状態の検出は、
箱型部材１１，１２の一方に磁石を付け、他方にリード
スイッチなどの磁気検出器をつけても良いし、ヒンジ部
１３付近にスイッチを付け、ヒンジ部を閉じたときにス
イッチがオンまたはオフするようにしても良い。

【発明の効果】以上説明したように本発明は、内蔵の受
話器と送話器を使用しないときはヒンジ部を閉じ送受信
器とアンプの電源を切るようにしたので、送話器と受話
器の接近によるハウリング発生の恐れは無くなる。
【００１４】また、外付け受話器と外付け送話器を繋い
でいるときは、スイッチをオンにするため、ヒンジ部を
閉じた状態での通話を行うことが可能となる。このとき
内蔵の送話器と受話器はジャックで送受信器から切り離
されており、ヒンジ部を閉じてもハウリングの恐れはな
い。
【００１５】さらに、ヒンジ部を閉じている状態では表
示部の電源を切るようにしたので、消費電流を節約し、
電池の寿命を長くすることができるなど多くの効果を有
する。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 少なくとも表示部と受話器を収容した第
    １の箱形部材と、少なくとも送話器を収容した第２の箱
    形部材とがヒンジ部により折り畳み可能に結合されて構
    成され、前記折り畳み時に表示部が見えなくなるととも
    に前記送話器と受話器への電源供給回路を切断すること
    を特徴とする携帯電話機。
  2. 【請求項２】 外部に第２の送話器と第２の受話器とを
    付加したときは、前記第１および第２の箱形部材内の前
    記送話器と受話器のうち送話器の回路のみを切り、前記
    折り畳み時には前記電源供給回路を切断しないことを特
    徴とする請求項１記載の携帯電話機。
