Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本考案は、別体のオムツカバーを必要としない使い捨て
オムツ、さらに詳しくは、ウエストの横側に突出するサ
イドウイングが吸汗・通気性を有する使い捨てオムツに
関する。
〔従来の技術〕
従来、この種のオムツにおいて、一般にウエストの横側
に突出するサイドウイングは両横側に位置するサイドフ
ラップの一部から形成され、かつ、このサイドフラップ
は液透過性トップシートと液不透過性バックシートとの
ラミネートからなるから、サイドウイングを含むサイド
フラップは通気性を有しておらず、これが蒸れの原因と
なっている。
そこで、近年、前記バックシートとして通気性プラスチ
ックフィルムが使用されるようになって来ているが、そ
れでも、オムツの着用時には、前後サイドウイングが互
いに重ね合せられることから、通気性に乏しく蒸れが生
ずる。こうした欠点はとくに夏期にみられるが、夏期に
は着用者の肌から汗が発生することが多いから、前記ト
ップシートが疎水性である場合には着用者に不快感を与
える。
本考案の目的は、サイドウイングのトップ層に吸汗・通
気性を付与するとともにそのバック層に液不透過・通気
性を付与することにより、従来の欠点を解決することが
できる使い捨てオムツを提供することにある。
〔課題を解決するための手段〕
前記目的を達成するため、本考案は、肌当接面に位置す
る液透過性トップシートと、肌非当接面に位置する液不
透過性バックシートと、これら両シートの間に介在する
液吸収性コアと、このコアの両横側縁から延出するとと
もに前後ウエストの横方向に突出するサイドウイングを
含むサイドフラップとを有する使い捨てオムツを前提と
する。
本考案は、前記前提において、前記サイドフラップが肌
当接面に位置するトップ層と肌非当接面に位置するバッ
ク層との複合シートからなり、前記トップ層が吸汗・通
気性を有し、かつ、前記バック層が液不透過・通気性を
有し、前記トップ層の上面に扁平で細長いスリーブが前
記サイドフラップの長さ方向に延在して該スリーブの下
面において接合され、前記スリーブの両側縁に沿って弾
性部材が伸長下に取り付けられていることを特徴とす
る。
〔実施例〕
図面を参照して、本考案に係るオムツの実施例を説明す
ると、以下のとおりである。
第１図および第２図において、オムツ１は、肌当接面に
位置する液透過性トップシート２と、肌非当接面に位置
する液不透過性バックシート３と、これら両シート2,3
の間に介在する液吸収性コア４と、このコアの両横側か
ら延出し、かつ長さ方向に伸縮する弾性部材５を有する
サイドフラップ６とを有し、サイドフラップ６は、前後
ウエスト7a,7bの両横側に突出するサイドウイング8a,8b
を含む。オムツ１の組み立て時、前ウエスト7aにおける
バックシート３に固定するための感圧性テープファスナ
ー９が後ウエストウイング8bに取り付けられている。
サイドフラップ６は、コア４の横側縁から延出し互いに
接合されているトップシート２およびバックシート３の
第１部分10と、この第１部分の外側縁に接着剤13を介し
て接合されている第２部分11と、この第２部分と、この
第２部分の内側縁近傍に接着剤14a,14bを介して接合さ
れている第３部分12とを含んでいる。
第２部分11は、肌当接面に位置するトップ層15aと、肌
非当接面に位置するバック層15bとの複合シートからな
っている。トップ層15aは吸汗・通気性を有し、かつ、
バック層15bは液不透過・通気性を有している。トップ
層15aとしては、吸汗性不織布、たとえば、繊維表面が
親水化処理されているポリエステル繊維のスパンボンド
・メルトボンド・メルトブローなどの不織布や、ポリエ
ステル・ポリプロピレンなどの疎水性繊維の不織布に前
記親水化処理繊維・レーヨンなどのセルロース系親水性
繊維がウォータージェットで交絡されたもの、これらの
親水化処理または親水性繊維と前記疎水性繊維との混合
物からなるメルトボンド不織布が用いられる。親水化処
理または親水性繊維の疎水性繊維に対する配合は70％以
上であることが好ましい。バック層15bとしては、ポリ
エステル・ポリプロピレンなどのスパンボンド・メルト
ボンド・メルトブロー不織布や、ポリエチレンなどの多
孔性プラスチックフィルムが用いられる。ここに多孔性
とはフィルムがスプリットもしくはスリットまたはパン
チングされていて実質的に通気性および不透過性を併有
するものをいう。これらのトップ層15aとバック層15bと
の接合は、熱溶着もしくは超音波溶着または接着剤（ホ
ットメルト型）でなされる。
第３部分12は、扁平で細長いスリーブを形成するように
折り曲げられて第２部分11に接合されているとともに、
長さ方向両端16において第１部分10および第２部分11に
接合され、該スリーブ内の両側縁に弾性部材5a,5bがこ
れらの長さ方向に伸長下に取り付けられている。第３部
分12は、好ましくは、ポリエステル・ポリプロピレンな
どの疎水性繊維不織布から形成される。ただし、第３部
分12は、本考案において不可欠要件ではない。第３部分
12が設けられない場合には、たとえば、第２部分11の凹
欠部17に沿って脚囲り圧接用の弾性部材が配置される。
サイドフラップ６に凹欠部17を有するオムツは、着用者
の身体に対するフィット性が向上する。この凹欠部17は
サイドフラップ６を形成する素材シートの一部を切除す
ることにより設けることができるが、素材シートを節減
しオムツのコストを低減するうえでは、第３図ないし第
６図に示すように、サイドフラップ６の一部としての第
２部分11を形成し、これをトップシート２および／また
はバックシート３にそれぞれ接合することが好ましい。
このようにするための一例を説明すると、第３図に示す
ように、第２部分11となるべき連続する第１ウエブ20
は、実質的に平行な側縁を有し、長手中心線21を介して
凹凸部を形成する切断線22が長手方向へ周期的に繰り返
されるようにロールカッター（図示せず）で切断するこ
とによって、凹縁部22aおよび凸縁部22bを有する第１お
よび第２分割ウエブ20a,20bを形成するとともに凹欠部2
7を形成する。第１分割ウエブ20aは、第２分割ウエブ20
bから分離させるとともに、第２分割ウエブ20bに対して
(1/2)n（ただしｎは奇数）のピッチだけ長手方向へずら
して、第１および第２分割ウエブ20a,20bの各凹縁部20a
同士および各凸縁部20b同士を対向整合させる。
一方、トップシート２またはバックシート３となるべき
第２ウエブ30は、その両側をその上面へ折り返し、この
折り返し部31に接着剤32を塗布しながら前記整合した第
１および第２分割ウエブ20a,20bの下面に位置させ、第
４図に示すように、第１および第２分割ウエブ20a,20b
の外側縁と第２ウエブ30の各折り返し部31とを接着剤32
で接合する。こうして、第１および第２分割ウエブ20a,
20bと第２ウエブ30とからなり連続する複合ウエブ40を
形成する。複合ウエブ40は、第５図および第６図に示す
ように、第１および第２分割ウエブ20a,20bを外方へ展
開し、他のオムツ構成部材との組み合せ後に所定部位で
切断する。
〔考案の効果〕
本考案に係るオムツによれば、両横側に突出するサイド
ウイングを含むサイドフラップの肌当接面に位置するト
ップ層が吸汗・通気性を有し、かつ、その肌非当接面に
位置するバック層が液不透過・通気性を有するから、オ
ムツの着用時に互いに重なって肌に当接する前後サイド
ウイング域における通気性がえられて蒸れが極力抑制さ
れるとともに汗が吸収され、着用者に不快感を与えるこ

材が取り付けられているから、弾性部材の収縮により、
スリーブがその底面の接合部を基点として起き上がって
全体として断面Ｕ字またはＶ字状に変形し、その両側縁
が着用者の脚囲りに比較的広い面で圧接して体液の漏れ
を有効に防止することができるとともに痛みを感じさせ
るような局部的に強い圧迫を与えることがない。

Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】肌当接面に位置する液透過性トップシート
    と、肌非当接面に位置する液不透過性バックシートと、
    これら両シートの間に介在する液吸収性コアと、このコ
    アの両横側縁から延出するとともに前後ウエストの横方
    向に突出するサイドウイングを含むサイドフラップとを
    有する使い捨てオムツにおいて、 前記サイドフラップが肌当接面に位置するトップ層と肌
    非当接面に位置するバック層との複合シートからなり、
    前記トップ層が吸汗・通気性を有し、かつ、前記バック
    層が液不透過・通気性を有し、前記トップ層の上面に扁
    平で細長いスリーブが前記サイドフラップの長さ方向に
    延在して該スリーブの下面において接合され、前記スリ
    ーブの両側縁に沿って弾性部材が伸長下に取り付けられ
    ていることを特徴とする前記オムツ。
