Description of the Related Art Some articles, such as moldings and seal packings, which are mounted on a body of a ship, a vehicle or the like and function as decorations and seals, have a hollow portion formed over their entire length. When such a hollow article is assembled to the body in a bent state, the bent portion may be deformed into a flat shape, resulting in a problem that the decorative property and the sealing property are deteriorated. Therefore, conventionally, there is known a technique in which, after an article having a hollow portion over the entire length is formed by extrusion molding, a separate spacer is inserted into a part of the hollow portion of the article in the longitudinal direction to prevent abnormal deformation. Has been.

Simultaneously with extrusion of the main body, a solid part can be integrally formed in the middle of the hollow part of the main body in the longitudinal direction, and the removal body can be easily removed from the cut part of the main body to lengthen the main body. The hollow portion can be favorably formed in the direction. Therefore, an article having a solid portion midway in the longitudinal direction of the hollow portion can be easily and inexpensively manufactured.

A tubular main body having a hollow portion in the longitudinal direction, and a solid portion provided in the longitudinal direction of the hollow portion of the main body so as to close a part of the hollow portion of the main body. A method of manufacturing an article, comprising: a resin / rubber for an extrusion molding die, which has a cross-sectional shape corresponding to the cross-sectional shape of the main body and has an extrusion opening opening on the front side surface of the die. At the same time as feeding the first material such as, for example, to the sub-forming path communicating with the upstream side of the main forming path and having a cross-sectional shape corresponding to the cross-sectional shape of the hollow portion of the main body, the first material is not The second material such as a compatible resin / rubber and the same material as the first material or a third material such as a compatible resin / rubber or the like is alternately fed to form the first material. The die includes a main body, a remover made of a second material, and a solid portion made of a third material. Continuously extruding from the extrusion opening to form a long extruded product, and then cutting the extruded product at the portion of the removed body to form a main body of a predetermined length dimension, and from the cutting portion. A method for producing an article having a hollow portion in the longitudinal direction, which comprises forming a hollow portion in the longitudinal direction of the main body by removing the removing body.
