【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は情報通信,音響,画像等に使用される磁気テー

されていると,第2図(b)に示すように隣接テープ層の
記録情報が漏れ磁束によって記録されるという,いわゆ
る転写効果が存在する。転写効果は温度,湿度,圧力,
ベースの厚さ等の影響を受け,磁気テープの保守上,重
大な欠点となっており,この転写を防止するためには従
来は,テープを時々巻き直したり,記録し直したり,あ
るいは冷所に保管することを必要とし,使用上重大な障

第3図を参照して,本考案の一実施例である磁気テープ
は,プラスチックフィルムベース2の表面上に磁気記録
媒体層1を設け,その磁気記録媒体層1の表面上に軟磁
性層3が積層された構造となっている。この構造では軟
磁性層3が磁気記録媒体層1中の磁極による磁界を閉じ
込めて,外部への漏れ磁束を減少させる。従って,この
構造の磁気テープを第4図(a)に示すようにリール4に
巻いて使用しても,第4図(b)に示すように,磁気記録
媒体層1同志の間に,軟磁性層3が介在して磁気シール
ドとして働くため,磁気記録層間の相互干渉を著しく減
少せしめる。それ故,転写効果が大巾に減少され,従来

商標)粉末を塗布した磁気テープを製作し,それぞれの
テープに210BPIでテープ速度19cm/secで記録し,読取
った場合の出力を測定した。その結果は表1のとおりで
