As a method of molding the roof trim 1, as shown in FIG. 8, a skin material 3 laminated with a hot melt film is set on the mold surface of a lower mold 4a for press molding, and the core material 2 is set. By heating with the heater device 5, the hot melt film laminated on the skin material 3 is melted by the heat of the core material 2, and the upper die 4b for cold press molding and the lower die 4a for cold press molding are engaged and clamped. Then, the roof trim 1 is molded integrally with the required shape and completed.

However, in order to impart the desired sound absorbing performance to the roof trim 1, the core material 2 is used.
It is necessary to set the thickness of the press to be thick. For example, in the construction method shown in FIG. 8, when the die clearance between the press dies 4a and 4b is set to 10 mm or more, the press pressure is significantly reduced. However, the adhesive strength between the core material 2 and the skin material 3 becomes insufficient, and defects such as floating and peeling of the skin material 3 tend to occur.

Similarly, even in the method shown in FIG. 9, although the adhesiveness is somewhat improved, it is still not sufficient, and defects such as peeling and floating of the skin material 3 cannot be radically solved. .
