(57)【要約】 【目的】 公知技術の欠点を回避し、かつフィルタイン
サートが簡単に交換可能であり、かつケーシングが僅か
な費用で製作し得る空気フィルタを見出す。 【構成】 ケーシング（１０）の未処理空気側の入口が
フィルタインサート（１８）の横断面を有しており、か
つホルダー（１６，１７）が膜ヒンジ（２２，２３）を
介してケーシング（１０）に配置されており、ホルダー
がフィルタインサート（１８）を組込み位置で固定して
いる。

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明はフィルタ、特に自動車の
内部空間のための空気フィルタに関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】自動車のための空気フィルタは例えばＤ
Ｅ−ＰＳ４０２８８９９から公知である。これは保持部
材と取外し可能なカバー部材から成る。保持部材とカバ
ー部材との間にフィルタ部材が存在する。保持部材は差
込み結合部を有している。差込み結合部内へカバー部材
が挿入されている。同時に保持部材およびカバー部材に
配置されたシール面を介してフィルタ部材が両部材間に
締込まれている。差込み結合部は弾性変形可能な部材で
あり、これは保持部材とカバー部材との間の摩擦接続を
行う。
【０００３】この装置の欠点は、（例えば振動によっ
て）カバー部材が保持部材から外れることがあり、その
ためにフィルタケーシングが意図しないのに開いてしま
うことにある。
【０００４】さらにＤＥ−ＧＭ８７０９１００からフィ
ルタ装置が公知であり、この装置ではフィルタインサー
トが周面に小板を有しており、これらの小板がフィルタ
カバーとフィルタ底部との間の結合箇所内へ締込まれて
いる。小板は適切なシール部材を備えており、したがっ
て同時にケーシング底部とケーシングカバーとの間でシ
ール作用が達成される。
【０００５】この装置の欠点は両ケーシング部分が互い
にねじ結合されなければならないことである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】本発明の課題は、上記
の欠点を回避し、かつフィルタインサートが簡単に交換
可能であり、かつケーシングが僅かな費用で製作し得る
空気フィルタを見出すことである。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記の課題は、請求項１
の特徴によって解決される。
【０００８】
【発明の効果】本発明の利点は簡単な構成にある。ケー
シングカバーはもはや不要であり、未処理空気の流入部
はフィルタインサートの横断面に相応する。これにより
簡単な組立の前提が生じる。その上に未処理空気はフィ
ルタインサート内へ邪魔されずに流入することができ
る。
【０００９】もちろんカバーの省略によってフィルタイ
ンサートの適切な固定が必要である。これはホルダーが
膜ヒンジでもって直接ケーシングに固定されており、か
つ膜ヒンジがフィルタインサートを組込み位置で固定す
ることによって達成される。
【００１０】本発明の構成によればケーシングを熱可塑
性プラスチックから製作することが提案される。ホルダ
ーを膜ヒンジでもってケーシングに一体に直接キャステ
ィングすることができる。したがってケーシングは固定
部材を含めて唯一の部材から成っており、これにより著
しい組立−および製作コストが節約される。
【００１１】有利な構成によればホルダーは少なくとも
１つのリブを備えている。このリブはフィルタインサー
トが組込まれた状態でこれに対して力を及ぼしており、
そのためにケーシング内におけるフィルタインサートの
確実な固定が保証される。
【００１２】フィルタインサートのもう１つの構成によ
ればフィルタインサートはジグザグ状に折畳まれたペー
パーまたはフリースから成っており、かつ環状のＰＵＲ
−フォーム−シールを備えている。フィルタインサート
の構成は金属部材が使用されていないために廃棄物処理
に問題のない構成であり、すなわちフィルタインサート
は問題なく熱処理で廃棄することができる。
【００１３】これらの、およびその他の本発明の優れた
構成の特徴は特許請求の範囲から明らかである他に明細
書および図面からも明らかであり、個々の特徴はそれぞ
れ自体単独で、または複数で組合せの形で本発明の実施
形で、かつ他の分野で実現することができ、かつ有利
な、並びにそれ自体保護の資格のある構成（これらにつ
いて保護が請求されている）を表すことができる。

【実施例】図１による空気フィルタはケーシング１０を
有し、ケーシングは清浄空気入口１１と、ケーシング１
０を図示されていない新鮮な空気の通路へ固定するため
の孔１２，１３とを備えている。ケーシングには周面に
分配配置された複数の補強リブ１４と環状のシール層１
５が存在している。ケーシング１０の両狭幅側にはホル
ダー１６，１７が配置されている。ケーシングがより良
く示されるように図１にはフィルタインサートは書込ま
れていない。
【００１５】図２は図１のＡ−Ｂ線に沿った断面図であ
る。この断面図にはフィルタインサート１８が示されて
いる。このフィルタインサートはジグザグ状に折畳まれ
たフィルタ媒体から成っており、これはプレート構造形
式で製作され、かつ環状のシール部材１９を備えてい
る。
【００１６】ケーシング１０は空気通路２０に面した端
面に同様に環状のシール部材２１を備えている。ホルダ
ー１６，１７はこれらがケーシング１０に固定されると
ころの固定線に沿って膜ヒンジ２２，２３を介してケー
シングと結合されており、かつフィルタインサート１８
を取外すために点線で示された位置へ旋回させることが
できる。フィルタインサートは引続き問題なく取出し、
かつ新しいフィルタインサートを挿入することができ
る。
【００１７】全体的な空気フィルタは高い保守好都合性
に優れている、それというのもカバーまたはこれに類似
のものがフィルタインサート１８へのアクセスを妨げな
いからである。さらにフィルタインサートは未処理空気
側で汚れ具合に関して光学検査によって判断することが
でき、そのために汚れ具合を判断するための高価な表示
装置を省略することができる。

Claims (4)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 空気フィルタであって、ケーシングを備
    えており、ケーシングが未処理空気入口と清浄空気出口
    とを有しており、ケーシング内に挿入可能な、ジグザグ
    状に折畳まれたフィルタ媒体から成るフィルタインサー
    トを備えており、フィルタインサートが清浄空気領域の
    シールのために環状のシール部材を有している形式のも
    のにおいて、ケーシング（１０）の未処理空気側の入口
    がフィルタインサート（１８）の横断面を有しており、
    かつホルダー（１６，１７）が膜ヒンジ（２２，２３）
    を介してケーシング（１０）に配置されており、ホルダ
    ーがフィルタインサート（１８）を組込み位置で固定し
    ていることを特徴とする、自動車の内部空間のための空
    気フィルタ。
  2. 【請求項２】 ケーシング（１０）が熱可塑性プラスチ
    ックから製作されており、かつホルダー（１６，１７）
    がケーシングと一体に製作されている、請求項１記載の
    空気フィルタ。
  3. 【請求項３】 ホルダー（１６，１７）がそれぞれ少な
    くとも１つのリブ（２４，２５）を有しており、リブが
    フィルタインサート（１８）と接触している、請求項１
    または２記載の空気フィルタ。
  4. 【請求項４】 フィルタインサート（１８）がペーパー
    −またはプラスチックフリースフィルタであり、かつそ
    の環状のシール部材がポリエステルベースのＰＵＲ−フ
    ォームから製作されている、請求項１から３までのいず
    れか１項記載の空気フィルタ。
