Generally, electrophotographic photoconductors are very susceptible to scratches. For example, when the photoconductors are used in a curling type electrophotographic copying machine, dents, scratches, fingerprints, oil stains, and solvents formed on the photoconductor surface. The effects of acid, alkali, and exposure to ultraviolet rays have various adverse effects on the image. Therefore, in order to prevent such damage during handling, the packaging form of the photoconductor surface has been conventionally provided with a protective mechanism, or in the case of amorphous selenium (a-Se), etc. Has a form that does not touch anything.

On the other hand, in the past, the replacement of the photoconductor was performed by a specialized worker (service person), but in recent years, with the spread of the electrophotographic apparatus, general users can also replace the photoconductor of the electrophotographic copying apparatus. There is an increasing demand for easy work. In order to solve such problems, various methods using a protective cover on the photoconductor have been proposed in recent years.

However, the various conventional methods have a drawback in that the protective cover and the surface of the electrophotographic photosensitive member are rubbed with each other to cause abnormal images such as stripes, black spots, white spots, and unevenness. In the case of using a photocopier, there is also a drawback that the blade is turned over and cleaning failure occurs because there is no lubricant such as toner on the surface of the photoconductor.

FIG. 1 is a sectional view of a packing material for an electrophotographic photosensitive member according to the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a plan view thereof. As shown in the figure, the packing material with lubricant 2 is a single-sided basic packing material 4 having a thin rectangular shape made of a flexible plastic film such as paper, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester or nylon. The solid lubricant 6 having a powder form is adhered to the above. Examples of the material of the solid lubricant 6 include Teflon particles, polyvinylidene fluoride particles, and the like, and a wider range of solid lubricants 6 such as silicone-based and molybdenum-based fluorine-based lubricants can be appropriately used.
Further, although the lubricant in this embodiment is a powder, the present invention is not limited to this, and a liquid lubricant may be appropriately used.

FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view showing a method of attaching the solid lubricant to the basic packing material. As shown in the figure, one surface of the basic packing material 4 is uniformly applied to the entire surface of the powdery solid lubricant 6, and the solid lubricant 6 is applied by the pressure roller 8 or the like.
The packing material 2 with lubricant is created by adhering to one surface of the.

FIG. 4 is a sectional view of an electrophotographic photosensitive member packed with the packing material with a lubricant according to the present invention. As shown in the figure, the electrophotographic photosensitive member 10 is packed by a packing material 2 with a lubricant in contact with the surface to which the lubricant is attached. Further, when the packing material 2 with lubricant is removed and attached to the copying machine body (not shown) of the electrophotographic photoreceptor 10, the solid lubricant 6 of the packing material 2 with lubricant is provided on the surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor 10. Blades (not shown) for subsequent use due to
Can be prevented from reversing. The electrophotographic photoreceptor 10
During use, the powdery solid lubricant 6 selected from silicone-based, molybdenum-based, and fluorine-based is gradually scraped off by a blade or the like, so the lubricating effect of the solid lubricant decreases, but conversely the toner Since it gradually adheres to the blade and the photoconductor, the lubrication effect of the toner increases,
Since the toner gradually roughens the surface of the photoconductor, the friction between the photoconductor and the blade is reduced, and the reversal of the blade is continuously prevented.

[Effects of the Invention] As described in detail and specifically above, by using the packing material having the lubricant of the present invention, it is not necessary for a service person to use the lubricant when mounting or replacing the electrophotographic photoreceptor, Even general users can easily attach or replace the electrophotographic photoconductor to the electrophotographic copying machine without using a lubricant, etc., and it is also effective against scratches before attachment and replacement. It is possible to maintain good image forming performance when shipping the photographic photoreceptor.
