Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a carrying-away prevention plate without slipping horizontally at a low cost so that a contact lens is not carried away from an exhaust port of a wash basin together with washing water in the case of washing. CONSTITUTION:A carrying-away prevention plate is covered on an exhaust port T in a wash basin S to prevent a contact lens C from carrying away, and a flexible plate body 10 is constituted of rubber or synthetic resin, etc. A plurality of through-holes 12 preventing the contact lens from passing through except water are formed in the plate body 10 having the circumferential edge section only, and a plurality of suckers 13 are formed along the inside of the circumferential edge section 11 in the shape of a ring. A plurality of small projections 14 are formed on the front side 10A of the plate body 10 at intervals slightly smaller than a diameter of the contact lens C.

Detailed Description of the Invention

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a wash-out prevention plate for preventing contact lenses from being washed out together with wash water from the drain of a washbasin during washing.

2. Description of the Related Art A preventive plate which covers a drainage port in a washbasin to prevent contact lenses from being washed away is known. The preventive plate of this conventional example has a plurality of through-holes formed in the plate body, leaving a peripheral edge portion, which allows water to pass through but prevents the contact lens from passing through.

However, since the back surface of the plate body of this conventional preventive plate is a smooth surface, when it covers the drainage port in the washbasin, the position shift occurs unexpectedly. There was a fear.

When a certain amount of water is dropped from the tap of the tap, the peripheral edge of the prevention plate comes into close contact with the inner surface of the washbasin along with the water, and the prevention plate is fixed.

However, before or after the prevention plate comes into close contact with the inner surface of the washbasin, the boiling container of the contact lens or the like may drop into the washbasin, or other things may drop, or carelessly. There is also provided a plate body in which a plurality of small projections are formed at intervals slightly smaller than the diameter of the contact lens.

Since a plurality of suction cups formed on the back surface of the plate body stick to the inner surface of the washbasin, the flow-out prevention plate will not be displaced.

FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the present invention.

The contact lens washout prevention plate 1 covers the drainage port T in the washbasin S to prevent the contact lens C from washing out. The plate body 10 of the contact lens washout prevention plate 1 is formed of a flexible thin plate of rubber, synthetic resin, or the like, and water is allowed to pass through the plate body 10 except for the peripheral portion 11, but the contact lens C is prevented from passing therethrough. A plurality of through holes 12 are formed, and a plurality of suction cups 13 are formed in an annular shape along the inner side of the peripheral portion 11 on the back surface 10B of the plate body 10.

The rubber for molding the plate body 10 is raw rubber or synthetic rubber, and the synthetic resin is soft.

A space is provided between the suction cups 13 so that the contact lens C is not washed away.

In use, the contact lens washout prevention plate 1 thus formed is placed in the washbasin S with the back surface 10B of the plate body 10 facing downward so as to cover the drainage port T.

When the suction cup 13 is adsorbed to the inner surface S1 of the washbasin S and the water is made to flow down from the tap of the tap, the peripheral portion 11 of the plate body 10 comes into close contact with the inner surface S1 of the washbasin S together with the water.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION Since the wash-out prevention plate of the contact lens can be fixed in the wash-basin container by the suction cup so as not to be displaced, the person using the contact lens can wash the contact lens with peace of mind.

Further, the wash-out prevention plate of the contact lens can be provided at a low cost because the suction cup, the through hole and the small protrusion can be integrally formed in one step when formed on the plate body.

Claims (2)

[Claims] 1. A drainage port in a washbasin is covered to prevent the contact lens from being washed away. A flexible plate body is formed of rubber, synthetic resin or the like. Of the contact lens, wherein a plurality of through holes for preventing the passage of the contact lens are formed leaving the peripheral edge portion, and a plurality of suction cups are formed in an annular shape along the inside of the peripheral edge portion on the back surface of the plate body. A washout prevention plate. 2. The washout prevention plate for a contact lens according to claim 1, wherein a plurality of small projections are formed on the surface of the plate body at intervals slightly smaller than the diameter of the contact lens.
