【考案の詳細な説明】

【産業上の利用分野】
この考案は紫外線ランプ等の紫外線の出力量を調整する為のものである。

【従来の技術】
今迄は紫外線ランプ等の紫外線の出力量を調整するには紫外線ランプの点灯に 要する電力を調整したり，時間を調整したり又は遮光等の機構的な方法で行なっ ていた。

【考案が解決しようとする課題】
いずれの方法でもその調整が円滑に行なわれない。即ち点灯の電圧を変化させ その調整をしようとしても放電管の特性上ある一定の電圧以下では不点灯となり 又ある一定の電圧以上では変化しないのが特長である。 又印加電圧を時間的にＯＮ−ＯＦＦさせるのも目的によっては有害であったり する又光学的に遮光機構による方法も能率的又構造上から不便な点が多いのであ る。

【課題を解決するための手段】
無電極放電の紫外線ランプは高周波の誘導点灯のため外部に電極をもうけてそ の外部の電極よりの誘導電界により点灯させているものである。 したがってその外部の電極は任意の場所に設けられるのでその電極を移動させ る事が出来る様にしてその間に高周波を印加させる。

【作用】
無電極放電管の外部電極間に高周波を印加させるとその間のみ放電するのでそ の電極を移動させることにより放電の長さを変化させ，その放電により出る紫外 線の量を変化させるものである。 したがってその外部電極を移動させることにより紫外線の量を調整することが 出来るものである。

【実施例】
以下本案の実施例について説明する。 無電極放電管の紫外線ランプ（１）に外部の移動電極（２）を設け高周波点灯 器（３）の両極を接続し電源（４）より電源供給すると外部電極（２）間に高周 波電界が印加され紫外線ランプはその間のみ放電を開始する。

【考案の効果】
そこでこの移動電極（１）を移動させる事により放電の長さを変化させ紫外線 の量を調整する事が出来るものである。
