The side band hooking groove 5 acts as a band hooking guide, and the band 10 is better hooked than in the case where only the band hooking groove 4 intersecting with the main cover portion 2 is recessed, and the band 10 is positioned and displaced. It has a preventive effect. The side band hooking groove 5 is formed from a point where the side plate 3 is bent as shown in the drawing toward the end side thereof, and is provided so as to define the recessed region while leaving the end part of the side plate 3. That is, the side band hooking groove 5 is formed so as to be continuous with the band hooking groove 4 of the main cover portion 2,
As shown in the figure, the end portion of the side plate 3 has a rim shape slightly protruding outward so that a recessed region is formed at the end portion of the side plate 3 so as to have a closed groove space.

With such a shape of the side band hooking groove 5, even if it is a general pulp-molded product which is easily deformed, when the band 10 is tightened when it is hooked, the end of the side plate 3 is not a groove. Since the meat is left as if it had been trimmed, the deformation is suppressed. That is, the edge portion of the side plate is formed in a rim shape protruding outward so as to suppress the deformation of the edge portion, and the end of the side band hooking groove 5 is near this rim portion. Therefore, even when the band 10 is hooked, Side plate 3
It will not be deformed unnecessarily.

Since the pulp molding packaging materials 1a and 1b are both flat container shapes, the action of placing the packaged product 11 on the lower molding packaging material 1b and the work of covering the upper pulp molding packaging material 1a on the packaging product 11 are easy. Is. In other words, compared to the case where a plurality of corrugated board and cushioning material are set around the packaged product 11 as in the conventional case, only two pulp molding packaging materials 1a and 1b need to be handled, so the work load is significantly smaller. Become. Further, the flat container-like shape of the pulp molding packaging materials 1a and 1b allows easy positioning with respect to the product 11 to be packaged, and the skill required for the conventional work of applying corrugated cardboard to the surroundings is unnecessary.

By the way, in the packaged state of the packaged product 11, the cushioning convex surface 6 constituted by the banding groove 4 and the like of the pulp molding packaging materials 1a and 1b intersects the surface including the upper and lower corners of the packaged product 11. Therefore, it is possible to provide a buffer against external force. That is, the panel-shaped packaging material cannot protect the product unless the cushioning material is replenished, but an effective cushioning ability is obtained. As a result, it is not necessary to replenish the cushioning material, and when the cushioning material deviates from a predetermined position, the inconveniently inconvenient aspect that the cushioning function does not work is solved. Therefore, in addition to the simplification of the packing work and the work on the automatic packing line, the packing form including the protection of the product can be obtained.
