(57)【要約】 （修正有） 【目的】少なくとも大部分が宝石からなる時計用針を実
現する。 【構成】針はサファイアから成る長体１と、長体後面の
切子面２と、透けて見える金属層３と、同様に透けて見
える蛍光物質層４とを含む。長体１はその一端１ｂが切
子面７を持つ金属台座５の切り込み６に固着され、金属
台座は針を駆動する時計部品と噛み合うのに適した円筒
部８を備える。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は時計用針に関する。
【０００２】
【本発明の目的】本発明は少なくとも大部分が宝石から
なる時計用針を実現する手段を備え、たとえこの宝石は
その加工性が限定され、時計部品に針を取り付けること
によって生じる機械的応力には弱いとしても、このよう
な時計用針を実現することを目的とする。
【０００３】この目的は特許請求の範囲第１項に限定さ
れた手段によって達成される。

【実施例、発明の効果】以下、本発明の実施例を説明す
る。図示された針は一端に鋭角部１ａを備えたサファイ
アから成る長体１から成り、その前面の縁は切子面２に
なっている。後面はサファイアを通して透けて見える金
属層３が形成され、金属層の中央には発光物質で覆われ
同様に透けて見える白地領域４を残す。
【０００５】鋭角部１ａに対抗する長体１のもう一端１
ｂが金属台座５にはめ込まれる。金属台座の一端５ａは
鋭角でもう一端には長体１の一端１ｂが固着された横断
切り込み６が形成されている。長体の一端１ｂと金属台
座５の切り込み６の内壁面との間には糊を注入しても良
い。この金属台座の前面は切子面７である。
【０００６】金属台座５は円筒部８を備え、この円筒部
によって針が時計の筒かなに固定される。注目すべきこ
とは金属台座には円筒部の延長部に時針用貫通孔が形成
されることである。
【０００７】上記のように配置すれば、たとえその大部
分がサファイアで構成されても針は加工性の問題から免
れる。すなわち長体１は加工しやすい。さらに、時計部
品に針を取り付けることによって生じる応力は、これら
を支持するのに適した金属台座によって和らげられる。
【０００８】変形例として、長体はサファイアでなく、
天然もしくは合成のあらゆる宝石で構成しても良い。
【０００９】宝石からなる長体の前面及び金属台座の切
子面はそれぞれが異なり同じものは存在しない。
【００１０】金属層の中央部には白地領域を残す必要は
ないので、針を蛍光物質で覆う必要もない。この金属層
には様々な色を着けることが可能で、化学的手段である
真空蒸着のような周知の手段によって着色できる。
【００１１】他の変形例として、特に金属台座に穴が必
ずしも貫通していない分針においては、その金属台座は
例えばダイヤモンドなどのはめ込み石からなる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 一端において異なる物質から成る台座に
    取り付けられる宝石から成る長体と、時計部品に針を固
    着可能とする手段とを備えることを特徴とする時計用
    針。
  2. 【請求項２】 前記長体はサファイアで構成されること
    を特徴とする請求項１に記載の針。
  3. 【請求項３】 前記長体の前面は切子面であることを特
    徴とする請求項１に記載の針。
  4. 【請求項４】 前記長体の後面は少なくとも金属層から
    成ることを特徴とする請求項１に記載の針。
  5. 【請求項５】 前記長体の後面は少なくとも発光物質層
    から成ることを特徴とする請求項１に記載の針。
  6. 【請求項６】前記台座は長体の一端が固着される切り込
    みを持つことを特徴とする請求項１に記載の針。
  7. 【請求項７】 前記台座の前面は切子面であることを特
    徴とする請求項１に記載の針。
  8. 【請求項８】 前記台座は時計部品と噛み合うのに適し
    た円筒部を備えることを特徴とする請求項１に記載の
    針。
  9. 【請求項９】 前記台座は宝石から成ることを特徴とす
    る請求項１に記載の針。
