The present invention relates to an improvement of a seedling selection / conveying device of a transplanter that sequentially and automatically transplants earthen seedlings such as paper tube seedlings to a field.
【0002】[0002]
Conventionally, soil seedlings received on a seedling supply conveyor are sorted into good seedlings and bad seedlings by a seedling sorting conveyor, and only good seedlings are transported and supplied to a seedling planter for various types of desired transplantation. There is a transplanter, and in particular, as a seedling selection / transporting device including the seedling supply conveyor and the seedling selection conveyor, for example, the one described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 3732 is known.
As shown in FIG. 5, in this seedling selection / conveyance device, the seedling supply conveyor 1 and the seedling selection conveyor 2 both convey the soil-laden seedlings P in a direction orthogonal to the traveling direction of the machine body. However, the transfer directions are reversed, and they are installed up and down at the required intervals, and a transfer speed is set between the sending end 3 of the seedling supply conveyor 1 and the receiving end 4 of the seedling selection conveyor 2. A pair of long and short transfer conveyors 5, 6 set faster than the seedling supply conveyor 1 are vertically stretched.
【0004】[0004]
The long transfer conveyor 5 has an upper end 7 facing the front side of the delivery end 3 of the seedling supply conveyor 1 and protrudes from between the delivery end 3 of the seedling supply conveyor 1 and the retaining ring 8 Is contacted with the upper end portion 7 to be separated from the subsequent soil-embedded seedling P, and in cooperation with the short transfer conveyor 6, the seedlings are conveyed downward at a higher speed than the seedling supply conveyor 1.
In other words, the long transfer conveyor 5 is faster (actually 3 to 5 times faster) than the seedling feeding conveyor 1 in order to separate the soil-laden seedlings P continuously fed from the seedling feeding conveyor 1 from the succeeding ones. The length of the short transfer conveyor 6 must be similarly high in order to cooperatively convey the separated soil seedlings P.
However, the soiled seedlings P after the separation are soiled by the deflection of the transfer conveyors 5 and 6 traveling at high speed or the clamping pressure at the lower ends of the rollers of both transfer conveyors 5 and 6. It becomes easy to come off.
The short transfer conveyor 6 faces the long transfer conveyor 5 with its upper end portion 9 positioned below the delivery end 3 of the seedling supply conveyor 1, and the long transfer conveyor 6 5, the soil seedling P is sandwiched and the soil seedling P is conveyed downward toward the receiving end of the seedling selection conveyor 2 in the sandwiched state. , 6 before being sandwiched between the upper end 9 of the short transfer conveyer 6 and the arc side of the delivery end 3 of the seedling feeding conveyor 1 facing the gap 10 formed. However, it may cause a dropout or disturb the posture.
Furthermore, the soil-bearing seedlings P conveyed by both transfer conveyors 5 and 6 drop at the receiving end 4 of the seedling selection conveyor 2 at a high speed, but the impact thereof also causes soil removal. .
[0009] In addition to such soil removal and disturbed posture, it adversely affects the sorting accuracy of good seedlings and bad seedlings by the seedling sorting conveyor 2 and other subsequent operations during transportation, and prevents proper transplantation and growth. However, there were problems such as trouble.
According to the present invention, the conveyance speed in the inclined traveling section, which will be described later, corresponding to the transfer conveyor is set to be the same as that of the supply conveyor, and the above-mentioned gap is not formed between the seedling supply conveyor and the inclined traveling section. By doing so, the problem is solved.
【0011】[0011]
Means for Solving the Problems The seedling selecting and conveying device of the transplanter of the present invention is as follows. A seedling feeding conveyor 19 that conveys the soil-bearing seedlings P in a direction orthogonal to the traveling direction of the machine body 16, and a direction that is also orthogonal to the traveling direction of the transplanting machine body 16 and opposite to the above-mentioned seedling supply conveyor 19. A seedling selection conveyor 20 that conveys soil seedlings P is piled up and down at a required interval h above and below.
The seedling supply conveyor 19 has an inclined traveling portion 30 that travels obliquely downward and outward from the delivery end portion 29. Outside the inclined traveling section 30, a seedling feeding conveyor 19 and an inclined conveyor 33 having the same conveyance speed as the inclined traveling section 30 position the upper end portion 34 in front of the delivery end portion 29 of the seedling feeding conveyor 19. At the same time, the lower end portion 35 is positioned above the receiving end side of the seedling selection conveyor 20 and stretched. A seedling separating wheel 39 having a peripheral speed higher than the conveying speeds of the seedling supply conveyor 19, the inclined traveling section 30, and the inclined conveyor 33 is provided between the lower end portion 35 of the inclined conveyor 33 and the receiving end side of the seedling selection conveyor 20. In addition, it is mounted on a position facing the lower end of the inclined traveling unit 30.
【0013】[0013]
The soil-bearing seedlings that are fed in a close row by the seedling feeding conveyor are sandwiched and conveyed in the feeding end of the seedling feeding conveyor and the inclined traveling section and the inclined conveyor in a close row, and the receiving end side of the seedling selection conveyor. In the upper part, the seedling separation wheel separates each piece into the seedling selection conveyor, and the seedling selection conveyor accepts the seedling selection conveyor.
Since the seedling supply conveyor has an inclined running part ahead of its sending end, and therefore the sending end and the inclined running part are continuous, the transfer of soil-grown seedlings from the sending end to the inclined running part is made. Is performed smoothly without rocking, and moreover, since the delivery end portion, the inclined traveling portion and the inclined conveyor have the same conveyance speed, no rotational force is applied to the soil-grown seedlings being sandwiched and conveyed. There is no need to let the soil-grown seedlings pass through or disturb their posture.
Separation of the closely lined soil-grown seedlings into individual pieces by a separation wheel is performed at a position close to the receiving end side of the seedling selection conveyor, and each soil-grown seedling is immediately received by the receiving end at a short distance. Since it does not collapse when it is received, it does not cause soil loss. In addition, unlike the case where the separated soil-grown seedlings are conveyed by belts at a relatively high speed after being sandwiched and conveyed to the seedling selection conveyor, there is no risk of causing trouble during the conveyance.
【0016】[0016]
A is a seedling supply device including a seedling selection / conveyance device a according to an embodiment of the present invention and a seedling distribution / supply device b continuous thereto. This seedling supply device A is installed in the center of the body 16 of the transplanter equipped with a coulter 12, a driving wheel 13, a pair of left and right seedling planting devices 14, 14, and an opner 15 and the like facing each other. A worker sitting on the seat 17 in front of the seedling P feeds the soiled seedling P placed on the rear seedling stand 18 to the seedling sorting / transporting device a according to the embodiment of the present invention. Only the selected good seedlings are planted in the field by the seedling planting devices 14, 14 (Figs. 1 and 2).
In general, the seedling selection / conveyance device a includes a lateral seedling supply conveyor 19 for conveying the soil-embedded seedlings P in a direction indicated by an arrow A orthogonal to the traveling direction of the machine body 16, and a traveling direction of the machine body 16 as well. A lateral seedling selection conveyor 20 that conveys soil-bearing seedlings P in an arrow B direction opposite to the seedling supply conveyor 19 in a direction orthogonal to each other is vertically superposed at a predetermined interval h (see FIG. 2). , 4).
The seedling selection conveyor 20 supports root support belts 22 for supporting roots 21 of soil-bearing seedlings P, root support belts 24 1 and 24 2 for supporting roots 23, and leaves 25. The leaf supporting belt 26 includes a leaf supporting belt 26 and a leaf holding belt 27 that holds the leaf 25 vertically with the leaf supporting belt 26.
The root support belt 22, the root support belts 24 1 and 24 2 , the leaf support belt 26, the leaf holding belt 27, etc. are installed in parallel with each other, and the root support belt 24 1 When forming the drop port 28 is between 24 2.
The soil-bearing seedlings P received on the receiving end side (right side of FIGS. 2 to 4) of the root tip support belt 22, the root support belt 24 1 and the leaf support belt 26 are conveyed in the arrow B direction, When the seedling is a good seedling having a leaf portion 25 that has grown to a required size, the leaf portion 25 passes through the drop opening 28 while being sandwiched by the leaf portion support belt 26 and the leaf portion holding belt 27. Reaches the root support belt 24 2 and is further conveyed to the next stage conveyor (later-aligned conveyor 49 described later).
When the seedling P with no leaves 25 or insufficient growth is insufficient, the soil-bearing seedling P loses its balance because it is not supported or pinched by the leaf support belt 26 and the leaf holding belt 27. , And is discharged from the outlet 28 and discharged to the outside of the system. That is, the seedling selection conveyor 20 temporarily receives all the soil-bearing seedlings P on the receiving end side, but in the end, only the soil-bearing seedlings P that are good seedlings are sorted and transported to the next-stage aligned transport conveyor 49. To do.
By the way, the seedling supply conveyor 19 has a required length extending ahead of its delivery end portion 29, and an upper guide is provided so that the seedling supply conveyor 19 becomes an inclined traveling portion 30 which travels obliquely downward and outward. The roller 31 is stretched between a roller 31 and a lower guide roller 32 which is axially mounted at a position close to and above the receiving end of the seedling selection conveyor 20. Therefore, as a matter of course, the inclined traveling unit 30 travels at the same speed as the transport speed to the delivery end 29 of the seedling supply conveyor 19.
Reference numeral 31 ′ is an auxiliary roller that is axially supported below the upper guide roller 31, and by this auxiliary roller 31 ′, after the inclined traveling portion 30 travels downward, a lower guide roller 32 is used. An upward run parallel to the downward run is performed. As a result, the above-mentioned interval h is secured between the seedling supply conveyor 19 and the seedling selection conveyor 20.
Reference numeral 33 denotes a slant conveyor which is stretched opposite to the slant running portion 30 so as to be opposed to the slant traveling portion 30 and has a thick elastic material attached thereto. The slant conveyor 33 has an upper end portion 34 at the delivery end portion 29 of the seedling supply conveyor 19. The upper and lower guides are pivotally supported at positions higher than the upper guide roller 31 and the lower guide roller 32, respectively, so that the lower end portion 35 is located at a required upper position on the receiving end side of the seedling selection conveyor 20 while being opposed to the front. The rollers are wound around the rollers 36 and 37, and the conveying speed thereof is the same as that of the inclined traveling section 30 and thus the seedling supply conveyor 19.
Reference numeral 38 denotes a retaining ring which is mounted above the delivery end portion 29 of the seedling feeding conveyor 19 and at a position facing the upper end portion 34 of the inclined conveyor 33, the peripheral speed of which is set to that of the seedling feeding conveyor 19. It is the same as the transport speed. The soil-bearing seedlings P are supplied in close contact with each other by the seedling supply conveyor 19, and while being pressed by the retaining ring 38 and protruding from between the delivery end portion 29, the soil-bearing seedlings P are brought into contact with the inclined conveyor 33 and the inclination thereof is maintained. The conveyor 33, the delivery end portion 29, and the inclined traveling portion 30 continue to change their orientation in a line and are nipped and conveyed downward.
In the above, when the soil-bearing seedlings P are conveyed along the delivery end portion 29 of the seedling supply conveyor 19 in an arc, the space between the adjacent ones spreads out, causing separation, though incomplete. Even if there is a case, since the traveling speeds of the inclined traveling unit 30 and the inclined conveyor 33 are the same, the above-described sandwiching conveyance is performed downward again in a state of being in close contact again.
Reference numeral 39 denotes a seedling separating wheel which is erected at a position between the lower end portion 35 of the inclined conveyor 33 and the receiving end side of the seedling selection conveyor 20 and faces the lower end portion of the inclined traveling portion 30. The peripheral speed is set to be 3 to 5 times faster than the conveying speed of the inclined traveling unit 30 and the inclined conveyor 33.
The close-planted seedlings P with soil that are sandwiched and conveyed by the inclined traveling unit 30 and the inclined conveyor 33 are released from the sandwiched state near the lower end portion 35 of the inclined conveyor 33, and at the same time the seedling separation described above is performed. The wheel 39 comes into contact with the wheel 39 and is fed at high speed, completely separated from the succeeding ones, received by the receiving end side of the seedling selection conveyor 20, and selected as good seedlings and bad seedlings as described above. Become.
Next, the seedling distribution / supply device b distributes and supplies the soil-containing seedlings P, which are good seedlings selected and conveyed by the seedling selection / conveyance device a having the above-described configuration, to the left and right seedling planting devices 14, 14. The distribution transfer mechanism section 42, the left and right branch transfer mechanism sections 43, 43 for branching and guiding the distributed distribution mechanism section, and the supply transfer mechanism section 44 for supplying it to the seedling planting apparatus 14, 14. , 44.

As is clear from the above description, the seedling selection / transporting device of the transplanter of the present invention has the following effects.
The soil-added seedlings that are fed in a close row by the seedling supply conveyor are pinched and conveyed in a close row between the delivery end portion of the seedling supply conveyor, the inclined traveling section and the inclined conveyor, Above the receiving end side, the seedlings are separated into individual pieces by a seedling separating wheel and received by the seedling selection conveyor, where the good product and the defective product are accurately and smoothly sorted.
Since the seedling supply conveyor has an inclined traveling portion ahead of its delivery end portion, and therefore the delivery end portion and the inclined traveling portion are continuous, the transfer of soil-grown seedlings from the delivery end portion to the inclined traveling portion is performed.
Separation of the closely-attached soil-embedded seedlings into individual pieces by a separation wheel is performed at a position close to the receiving end side of the seedling selection conveyor, and each soil-embedded seedling is immediately received by the receiving end at a short distance.
