Therefore, regarding the seal portion, both the extrusion molding portion 1 and the die molding portion 2 are continuous bodies of the same sponge rubber material, and regarding the assembly portion, both the extrusion molding portion 1 and the die molding portion 2 are continuous solid rubber materials. Since it becomes a body, the joint end 2 at the seal part
The step difference at 0 can be made small, and the thin part of the base part of the mold sealing part is a solid rubber material, so it has sufficient shape retention. Therefore, a uniform sealing action can be achieved over the entire sealing part. In both, the appearance and holding power of both the extrusion-molded portion and the die-molded portion were substantially the same.

The invention according to claim 3 is for suitably manufacturing the weather strip of each of the above-mentioned inventions, and is, for example, the third aspect.
As shown in FIG. A, the ends of the extrusion molding parts 1 on both sides are set in the mold for molding, and the molding seal part 21 and the molding assembly part 2 are set.
The protrusion 71 is provided at the position of the mold forming the connection part with the two, and the sponge rubber for the seal part and the solid rubber for the assembly part are properly supplied from the injection port 8 and the injection port 9 respectively. It is injected so as to be integrally molded, and while the protrusion 71 resists the flow of solid rubber into the sponge rubber,
The sealing portion 21 and the assembling portion 22 are molded at the same time by molding the solid rubber up to the position of the protruding edge 71.

[Example 1] A conventional molded product was used for the extrusion molding part. That is, the extrusion assembly part 12 having a retaining lip 13 for retaining the flange on the inner surface and having the insert iron plate 14 inserted therein is made of solid rubber, and is attached to the outside of one side surface of the assembly part at the joining line 10. The tubular seal portion 11 in the form was integrally formed of sponge rubber, and a molded product obtained by extrusion molding with a general wall thickness of 2 mm was used.

Next, the same sponge rubber paste as the sponge rubber of the seal part 11 of the extrusion molding part is injected from the injection port 8 for the seal part, and the same sponge rubber of the assembly part 12 of the extrusion molding part is injected from the injection port 9 for the assembly part. Both of the solid rubber pastes were simultaneously injected under pressure through the channels 81 and 91. After the vulcanization and molding, the upper mold 3 was removed and each of the middle molds was removed. As a result, a weather strip joined to the shape shown in FIG. 1A at the molding part 2 was obtained. In the obtained weather strip, the joining state of the assembling part 22 and the seal part 21 in the mold forming part 2 is such that the solid rubber on the assembling part side presses the sponge rubber on the seal part side. Then, the joining line 10 'of the die-molded portion entered the sponge rubber side by R (a little more than 1 mm) than the joint line 10 of the extrusion-molded portion. As a result, the thinned portion is replaced with the slid rubber, and therefore, the portion thinned by the protrusion length P (1 mm) of the mold projecting edge 71 of the sponge rubber seal portion having a general wall thickness of 2 mm is effectively the sponge rubber. Therefore, it became a solid rubber with much higher rigidity, so there was no hindrance to the sealing action of the sponge rubber seal part.

Further, the seal part 11 of the extrusion molding part 1 is in the form of a tube of sponge rubber, and the seal part 21 of the mold molding part 2 is the middle mold 7.
Although there is a narrow slit opening O for pulling out, the seal portion 21 has no trouble in operation. However, the opening O can be adhesively closed as required.

In the obtained product, the sealing part and the assembling part are made of the same material for both the extrusion molding part 1 and the mold molding part 2, so that the sealing part exerts a uniform sealing action without forming a gap throughout. In the assembling part, the appearance was exactly the same even though there was no insert iron plate only in the mold forming part, and there was no problem in operation.

In Example 2, when a mold having no protruding edge 71 was used as the middle mold 7 for the seal portion, solids as shown in FIG. 4 caused R 0 to enter the sponge rubber. In this example, E is 90 mm and L is 10 mm, but R 0 reaches 8 mm, and the upper mold molding seal part 21 connected to the mold assembly part 22 is up to 8 mm of the connection part with the assembly part 22. Since the rubber is a solid rubber, rigidity is imparted and the sealing property of the sponge rubber as a sealing portion is obstructed, and the product cannot exhibit a uniform sealing action.

Since both the seal part and the assembling part of the mold forming part are made of the same material as the seal part and the assembling part of the extrusion forming part, the joint end between the mold forming part and the extrusion forming part has a shape with less steps.
In addition, the thin portion formed by the metal mold ridge at the base of the mold molding seal has sufficient shape retention because it is replaced by the solid rubber of the assembly part, and therefore the entire seal part has a uniform seal. The function can be achieved and a sufficient holding function can be given to the assembling part of the mold forming part.

Further, in the method of the present invention, the two-layer simultaneous molding of the sponge rubber seal portion and the solid rubber assembly portion is carried out to prevent the solid rubber from entering the seal portion by imparting flow resistance by the projecting edge of the mold. Due to the limitation, it is possible to integrally mold with a predetermined parting line, and since the thin portion of the base of the seal portion caused by the die rim is also solid rubber, it is possible to integrally mold without losing the shape retention of the seal portion.
