Abstract
(57)【要約】
【構成】 シリンダーアンダーケーシング５を構成する
グリッド６の表面に、どんな粘着性のものでも粘着しに
くいという非粘着性に優れた潤滑材としてのフッ素樹脂
を含む潤滑被膜１０を形成した。 【効果】 シリンダーアンダーケーシング表面に、カー
ディング中の繊維に含まれるハネデュー等の粘性物が付
着しにくく、初期の表面状態を長期にわたって維持でき
る。
グリッド６の表面に、どんな粘着性のものでも粘着しに

【０００１】
本願は、カードのシリンダーアンダーケーシングに関するものである。
【０００２】
従来一般に、カードのシリンダー下側を覆うように配設されるシリンダーアン ダーケーシングを構成するケーシング部材には、塗色あるいは金属メッキ等の表 面処理が施されていた。
【０００３】
前記従来のシリンダーアンダーケーシングでは、カーディング中の繊維に含ま れる綿ロー、ハネデューあるいは合繊の場合、油剤等の粘性物が付着し易く、そ の部分に風綿が付着堆積し、このことが生産されるスライバの品質低下を招くた め、比較的短いサイクルでシリンダーアンダーケーシングの定期清掃を繰り返し 行わなければならないという問題があり、また、この清掃が困難なものであった 。

前記問題点を解決するため本願ではカードのシリンダー下側を覆うシリンダー アンダーケーシングを構成するケーシング部材に、二硫化モリブデンやフッ素樹 脂等の潤滑材を含む潤滑被膜又は貼紙防止塗料による潤滑被膜を形成したことを 特徴とする。

本願のシリンダーアンダーケーシングでは、カーディング中の繊維に含まれる 粘性物が付着しにくく、初期の表面状態を長期にわたって保ち、、またたとえ風 綿の付着があっても清掃時に容易に取り除ける。

次に、図１において本願の実施例について説明すると、１はシリンダー２はテ ーカインローラ及び３はドッファローラであり、シリンダ１の下部は、シリンダ ーアンダーケーシング５により覆われている。このシリンダーアンダーケーシン グ５はグリッド６及び前側覆板７、後側覆板８により構成されている。このグリ ット６は図２に示すようにその端部に形成された取付片１１を介して周知のよう にカードのサイドフレームに支持されている。またグリット６は、シリンダー１ の軸方向長さと略同等長さを有し、断面形状が逆台形形状に形成された複数のグ リッドバー６ａ（ケーシング部材として例示する）を一体にして形成されており 、カーディング中の繊維に含まれる短繊維、夾雑物及び、シリンダー表面の余剰 気流等の排出口１２が複数形成されている。
【０００７】 前記グリッド６には、フィルム状の潤滑被膜１０が形成され、この被膜１０は 、どんな粘着性のものでも粘着しにくいという非粘着性に優れた潤滑材として示 す二硫化モリブデン（Ｍ0Ｓ2）を結合形成した成されている。従ってグリッド６ の表面は優れたすべり性を示し、カーディング中の繊維に含まれるハネデユー等 の粘性物が付着しにくく、初期の表面状態を長期にわたって保ち、またたとえ粘 性物とともに風綿の付着があっても清掃時に容易に取り除くことができる。
【０００８】 尚、前記実施例では潤滑材として二硫化モリブデン（Ｍ0Ｓ2）を使用したが、 これにかわってフッ素樹脂（例えばＰＴＦＥ）を使用してもよく、また二硫化モ リブデンとフッ素樹脂を混合して使用してもよい。また、潤滑被膜形成方法とし ては、スプレー法、浸漬法、タンブリング法等がある。
【０００９】 また、前記実施例における潤滑被膜１０を貼紙防止塗料で形成してもよく、こ の貼紙防止塗料は、例えば特開昭６０−１０６８６４号公報で開示されたもので あり、常温乾燥形塗料（アクリルラッカー，アクリルマルジョン塗料等）中の樹 脂分１００重量部に対し潤滑油であるシリコンオイルあるいはワックス（流動パ ラフィン，ポリエチレンワックス等）を１０〜７０重量部添加して成るものであ る。この貼紙防止塗料は、本来は、建造物に貼紙が貼付けられても容易に剥離で き、かつ貼紙の痕跡を残さないような塗料として開発されたものであり、つまり 、この塗料を塗装した塗装面は潤滑油の作用で物が付着しにくいといった特性が ある。尚、貼紙防止塗料としては、前記のものに限定されることはなく、例えば 特開昭５４−１１２９３８号公報に開示されたもののように、潤滑油を樹脂分１ ００重量部に対し１０〜８０重量部含有する粘度塗料に、ガラスビーズやプラス チックビーズ等を含有させたものであってもよく、この塗料を使用した場合塗装 面が凹凸状の塗膜に形成され、この凹凸状の塗膜及び潤滑油の作用により物が付 着しにくくなる。

以上のように本願のシリンダーアンダーケーシングでは、ケーシング部材に、 二硫化モリブデンやフッ素樹脂等の潤滑材を含む潤滑被膜又は貼紙防止塗料によ る潤滑被膜を形成したので、カーディング中の繊維に含まれるハネデュー等の粘 性物が付着しにくく、初期の表面状態を長期にわたって保つことができ、シリン ダーアンダーケーシングの定期清掃の回数を従来にくらべ少なくすることができ る。また、風綿の付着があっても清掃時に容易に取り除くことができる。

- 【請求項１】 カードのシリンダー下側を覆うシリンダ
ーアンダーケーシングを構成するケーシング部材に、二
硫化モリブデンやフッ素樹脂等の潤滑材を含む潤滑被膜
又は貼紙防止塗料による潤滑被膜を形成したことを特徴
とするカードのシリンダーアンダーケーシング。
