従来、電気卓上計算機を使う時は、数字キーやその他のキーが縦と横に規則的 に配列されているため、計算する時、人差し指１本で使用するしかなかった。

【考案が解決しようとする課題】
これは次のような欠点があった。 電気卓上計算機を使う時は数字キーやその他のキーが縦と横に規則的に配列され ているため、計算する時、人差し指１本で使用するしかなかった。このため計算 する時、ソロバン等の５本指全部を使用する計算機に較べて計算速度が遅かった 。

数字キーが２重の半円状に配列されているので、数字キーや他のキーに同時に 片手の指５本が触れることができる。

このように、本考案は数字キーや他のキーに同時に片手の指５本が触れること ができるため、従来の電気卓上計算機の計算速度に較べて３倍〜１０倍の速さで 出来るよう工夫された電気卓上計算機である。 このように、本考案は計算が速くできる今までになかった電気卓上計算機であ る。
