保持部材1の固定部aを、先挿入部が大径で強圧入され
る強接触部a1と後挿入部が小径で弱接触あるいは小間隙
を保つ非接触部a2との段付き筒形状に形成し、該強接触
部a1の周面上の一部から段部a3にまで連なった周面上に
弾性体製のリング状のパッキング3を設けたことを特徴
としている。

接触部a2へ変形移動して装着完了される。ここでのパッ
キング3は接着設置されたものであるから元の設置箇所
への復元力を内部に貯めて移動圧縮された状態にあり、
従って単純に圧縮しただけのものに比べて反発力が大き
く相違し例え小さい質量であつても強い密封を発揮する
大きな作用を見せる。さらに、該パッキング3は装着状
態では大部分が嵌合される強接触部a1から押し出され圧
入部分に悪影響を及ぼさない位置にあるから保持部材1
が持つ寸法精度をもって正確に固定部材4に装着され、
従ってその装着精度は極めて高く長期の装着にあっても
緩み・歪み等の不具合を起こすことの無い最良の固定手
段となったものです。
