【発明の詳細な説明】
骨髄針
本発明は、骨髄針に関する。
前腕針及び大腿針の場合、釘の長手軸線にたいして横方向に延びる固定ねじによ
りこれらの釘を骨髄部分で確実に保持するうえで問題はないが、上腕針の場合に
は(ドイツ実用新案登録第8811634号公報)、固定ねじ用の穴を穿設する
ことにより神経を損傷させる危険があり、従って従来は上腕針を確実に固定する
ことが不可能であった。
本発明の課題は、釘の両側において皮質に穴をあける必要がなく、即ち皮質及び
釘に打ち込まれる固定ピンまたは適当なねじにより釘を片側だけで固定できるよ
うな骨髄針を提供することである。
この課題は、本発明によれば、金属から成る釘の端部領域に、釘の長手軸線にた
いして横方向に向けられる詰物状の挿入物が配置され、該挿入物が、釘の少なく
とも片側において外部へ通じ、且つ容易に穿設可能な材料または容易にねじをね
じ込み可能な材料から成っていることを特徴とするものである。
この構成により、上腕の皮質の片側だけを穿設し、この穿設した穴にねじまたは
ビンを挿入させることが可能になる。ねじまたは釘は、皮質で確実に保持される
が、他方針内部の挿入物に嵌まり込む。その際ねじまたはピンが他の側で釘から
突出することはない。従って、他の側で過敏な神経が損傷をこうむることは全く
ない。
本発明によれば、挿入物は一つまたは複数個の盲穴に取り付けられ、或いは、長
さの大部分にわたって筒状であるがテーパー状に先細りになっている筒状の穴に
取り付けられる。その結果、この穴に材料を挿入する場合、空気封じ込め等によ
る中空空間は生じない。
挿入物はプラスチックから成ることができるが、生物学的に分解可能な材料から
成るのが有利である。この場合、材料が生物学的に分解する時間は、当然のこと
ながら、上腕の骨折が全治する時間よりも長い。従って適当な時期に釘を再び離
隔させることができる。一方、生物学的に分解可能な材料の挿入物を使用するこ
とにより、穿設の際に生じる材料の破片により炎症が発生することがない。
次に、添付の図面を用いて本発明の1実施例を説明する。
添付の図面には、骨髄針1の一部が図示されている。
骨髄針1の中には、一端の領域に挿入物2が設けられている。図示した実施例の
場合、挿入物2は筒状の穴の中に配置されている。穴は盲穴として構成されてい
る。この挿入物2は、生物学的に分解可能な材料から成っている。この挿入物2
には、皮質に穴をあけたあとねじをねじ込むことができる。ねじは、骨髄針1の
この端部領域において骨髄針1を皮質に固定するようを成す。

Claims (4)
- 1.金属から成っている釘(1)の端部領域に、釘(1)の長手軸線にたいして 横方向に向けられる詰物状の挿入物(2)が配置され、該挿入物(2)が、釘( 1)の少なくとも片側において外部へ通じ、且つ容易に穿設可能な材料または容 易にねじをねじ込み可能な材料から成っていることを特徴とする骨髓釘。
- 2.挿入物(2)が、生物学的に分解可能な材料から成っていることを特徴とす る、請求項1に記載の骨髓釘。
- 3.挿入物(2)が、釘(1)に設けた一つまたは複数個の盲穴の中に配置され ていることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の骨髓釘。
- 4.挿入物(2)が筒状の穴の中に配置され、この穴が、その端部領域において 、釘の他の側へテーパー状に先細りになっていることを特徴とする、請求項1ま たは2に記載の骨髓釘。
