The problem to be solved by the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems of the conventional two-layer insulated cable.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a two-layer insulated cable which does not generate a harmful gas in the case of a fire, has a large flame retardance and is hard to burn.

The problem is that a conductor has a foamed polyolefin layer formed by using azodicarbonamide or P, P'-oxybis (benzenesulfonylhydrazide) as an inner layer, and a flame-retardant polyolefin layer as an outer layer on the foamed polyolefin layer. In addition, the flame-retardant polyolefin layer has a magnesium hydroxide content of 80 to 1 per 100 parts by weight of the polyolefin.
This is achieved by a flame-retardant insulated cable characterized in that it is composed of a composition in which 50 parts by weight are blended.

The cable of the present invention basically has a foamed polyolefin layer (2) as an inner layer on a conductor (1) as shown in FIG.
Is formed, and a flame-retardant polyolefin layer (3) is further formed thereon as an outer layer.

In the present invention, since the flame-retardant polyolefin layer (3) containing magnesium hydroxide is formed as the outer layer, the flame retardancy is greatly improved, and even if the outer layer burns during a fire, Does not generate harmful gas.
Particularly noteworthy is that the flame retardancy normally required for this type of cable is sufficiently achieved, and the flame retardance that is never inferior to conventional polyvinyl chloride and halogen-containing polyolefin is achieved. To be obtained.

It is about 0.5 to 2.0 parts by weight. As the polyolefin used at this time, various conventionally known ones are used, and typical examples thereof include polyethylene, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer and the like. As the foaming agent, azodicarbonamide or P, P'-oxybis (benzenesulfonylhydrazide) is used. The thickness of this inner layer is usually 0.1 to 0.5 mm, preferably 0.1 to 0.3 mm.
