【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】この発明は、使い捨ておむつ、お
むつカバーなどの着用物品に関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】特公昭５２−４０２６７号明細書は、テ
ープファスナーで腰回りを締結する開放型使い捨ておむ
つの典型を開示する。即ち、このおむつは、透液性トッ
プシートと不透液性バックシートとの間に吸液性パネル
を介在させ、パネルの対向側縁から外側へ延出するトッ
プ及びバックシート部分でサイドフラップを形成すると
ともに、股下域におけるサイドフラップの対向側に脚回
り用凹欠部を形成し、サイドフラップに脚回りをシール
する弾性部材を配置し、後身頃の腰回り両側部にこれら
両側部を前身頃の両側部に締結するテープファスナーを
取り付けてある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】前記公知おむつで代表
されるように、身体に対するおむつの適合性をよくする
ため、股下域の両側に形成した脚回り凹欠部は、当然の
ことながら、股下域の幅を狭くし、身体の大腿をほとん
ど被覆することができない。この点については、当業者
には明らかなように、従来一般に用いられているおむつ
カバーも同じである。従って、股下域における尿の吸収
能及び大便の受止能が低下し、それら排泄物、特に尿が
股下対向側縁から漏れ易い。
【０００４】一方、前記おむつを含むこの種のおむつ
は、前後身頃の境界である股下折り曲げ部が腰回り上縁
と平行な水平直線になっている。しかも、吸液性パネル
は、一般にフラッフパルプの集積物を或る程度圧縮する
とともにその上面をティシュペーパーで被覆してあるか
ら、いわゆる半剛性を有する。従って、おむつの股下域
が身体の股間になじみ難く、着用違和感を与えるばかり
でなく、前記漏れにつながる。
【０００５】この発明の課題は、開放型おむつ及び身体
の脚回り被覆部を有するショートパンツ型おむつの利点
を兼ね備えた形態を着用物品の股下域に付与すること
で、前記公知おむつなどの欠点を除去することにある。
【０００６】ここに、開放型おむつの利点とは、腰回り
及び脚回りの締付調整が自在であること、また、ショー
トパンツ型おむつの利点とは、少なくとも身体の大腿内
側の被覆部を有し、股下域を前記公知おむつのそれより
も広く形成することができることを意味する。

【課題を解決するための手段】この発明に係る物品は、
前後身頃の股下域に前後身頃の腰回り側へ凸曲する接合
線を施こして前後身頃を股下域において一体に接合して
ある。
【０００８】前記物品が、例えば、使い捨ておむつであ
る場合には、透液性トップシートと不透液性バックシー
トとの間に吸液性パネルを介在させて前後身頃を構成
し、後身頃の腰回り両側部に感圧粘着性テープなどの締
結手段を取り付ける。また、前記物品が、おむつカバー
である場合には、少なくとも不透液性シートから前後身
頃を構成し、着用時に前後身頃の腰回り両側部が重なり
合う部位にベルクロ（商標）などの締結手段を設ける。
更にまた、使い捨ておむつでもおむつカバーでも、前後
身頃の腰回り及び脚回りには、これらの回り方向へ収縮
する弾性部材を取り付けることが好ましい。

【作用】前記構成に係るこの発明によれば、物品を着用
するとき、凸曲接合線で接合された前後身頃の股下域の
内面が身体の股間に的確に位置するとともに、少なくと
も該股下域の両内側部が身体の大腿の内側を被覆する、
即ち、該股下域が身体の股下部のほぼ全域を被覆する。

【実施例】図面を参照して、この発明の実施例に係る使
い捨ておむつを例にとってこの発明を説明すると、以下
のとおりである。
【００１１】図１〜図３において、おむつ１は、前後身
頃２，３から構成してある。後身頃３は、幅において、
前身頃２よりも大きく成形してある。前後身頃２，３
は、透液性トップシート４と、不透液性バックシート５
と、トップ及びバックシート４，５の間に介在させた吸
液性パネル６とから構成してある。
【００１２】前後身頃２，３の下端中央部、即ち、股下
域には前後身頃２，３の腰回り側へ凸曲する凹欠部７を
形成してある。前後身頃２，３は、凹欠部７の縁を僅か
に残しこれに沿ってその縁部に加熱下又は超音波作用下
の融着手段による接合線８を施こして一体に接合してあ
る。接合線８は、図４のＡ，Ｂ及びＣに示すような曲線
であってもよい。この曲線の大きさ、形状及び曲率は、
おむつが大人用であるか幼児用であるかによって適宜決
定することができるが、前後身頃２，３の腰回り側へ凸
曲し、かつ、これによって凸曲接合線８の頂面９よりも
下方向へ脚挿通部１０の少なくとも内側部が延出する限
り、特に問わない。
【００１３】トップ及びバックシート４，５の腰回り及
び脚回りにおいてパネル６から延出する縁部の間にこれ
ら回り方向へ収縮する弾性部材１１，１２を介在させて
該縁部をホットメルト接着剤又は前記融着手段で閉じて
ある。トップ及びバックシート４，５の両側部において
パネル６から延出する縁部も同様に閉じ、後身頃３の両
側縁部には感圧性粘着剤を塗布したテープファスナーで
ある複数の締結手段１３を取り付け、これらによって後
身頃３の両側部を前身頃２の両側部に連結するようにし
てある。
【００１４】前後身頃２，３の両側縁及び両脚回り下縁
は軸線１４に対して傾斜させてあるが、両側縁は軸線１
４と平行な垂直線、両脚回り下縁は軸線１４に直交する
水平線にそれぞれ形成してあってもよい。
【００１５】こうしたおむつ１は、両側縁部が開放し、
従ってまた腰回り及び両脚回りが開放しているが、図１
に示すように、組み立てた状態では、両側部が閉じ、腰
回り開口部及び両脚回り開口部が形成される。もとよ
り、これら開口部の大きさは、前後身頃２，３の両側部
の互いの重なり幅によって決定されるとともに、その重
なり幅は、身体の腰回り及び脚（大腿）回りのサイズに
よって異なる。
【００１６】おむつ１の構成材料には公知おむつのそれ
として一般に知られているものを用いることができる。
例えば、トップシート４には不織布、バックシート５に
はプラスチックフィルム、パネル６にはフラッフパルプ
に超吸収性ポリマーを混合したもの、弾性部材１１，１
２には天然又は合成ゴム、締結手段１３の基材には高質
紙又は不織布とプラスチックフィルムとのラミネート
を、それぞれ用いることができる。
【００１７】なお、おむつカバーの場合には、少なくと
も不透液性シート、例えば、防水加工した織布を用いる
ことができる。

【発明の効果】以上のように構成したこの発明に係る物
品によれば、股下域の両側に脚回り用凹欠部を形成した
場合でも、股下域に腰回り側へ凸曲する接合線を施こす
ことで、股下域の幅を広く形成することができるととも
に、少なくとも身体の大腿内側の被覆部を形成すること

Claims (7)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】前後身頃から構成した着用物品であって、
    前記前後身頃の股下域に前記前後身頃の腰回り側へ凸曲
    する接合線を施こして前記前後身頃を股下域において一
    体に接合してあることを特徴とする前記物品。
  2. 【請求項２】前記前後身頃を、透液性トップシートと、
    不透液性バックシートと、該トップ及びバックシートの
    間に介在させた吸液性パネルとから構成してある請求項
    １に記載の物品。
  3. 【請求項３】前記前後身頃の両側縁部を開放し、該後身
    頃の両側部にこれらを該前身頃の両側部に連結する締結
    手段を設けてある請求項１又は２に記載の物品。
  4. 【請求項４】前記前後身頃を少なくとも不透液性シート
    から構成してある請求項１に記載の物品。
  5. 【請求項５】前記後身頃を幅において前記前身頃よりも
    大きく形成してある請求項３に記載の物品。
  6. 【請求項６】前記凸曲接合線で画成される前記股下域の
    外側に凹欠部を形成してある請求項１又は２に記載の物
    品。
  7. 【請求項７】前記前後身頃の腰回り及び一対の脚回りに
    これらの回り方向へ収縮する弾性部材を取り付けてある
    請求項１又は２に記載の物品。
