(57)【要約】 【目的】 蓄熱によるシール部の過熱に基づくフィルム
の溶断を防ぎ、良好なシール性を得るためのインパルス
シール装置に於ける温度制御方法を提供する。 【構成】 シール部に設けたヒータ線へ通電して、重合
するフィルムを溶着するインパルスシール装置に於て、
前記ヒータ線を含むシール部周辺の温度を検知する温度
センサーを設け、該温度センサーの検知信号に基づいて
前記ヒータ線への通電時間又は導通角を制御することを
特徴とする。

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【0001】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は合成樹脂製フィルム袋等
の熱可塑性包装袋を電気ヒータ線で溶着接着するインパ
ルスシール装置の温度制御方法に関する。

【従来の技術】図4はヒータ線へ所定時間だけ通電して
フィルム袋の口等を溶着密封するようにした従来のイン
パルスシール装置を示したもので、図示するようにシー
ル装置のシール部に設けたヒータ線3上にフィルム袋1
を置き、その上から圧着板6を介して押圧蓋2で押付け
た後、ヒータ線3へ所定時間だけ通電して溶着密封する
ようになっている。この際良好な溶着が出来るよう従来
は図に示す通り、ヒータ線3の近傍に感熱素子等の温度
計7を取付け、その測定値に基づいてヒータ線3への通
電時間を制御し、適切な溶着温度を得るようになしてい
た。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】インパルスシール作業
を繰り返し行うと、ヒータ線の熱が放熱されずに蓄熱さ
れて、初期に設定した通電時間では過熱状態となってフ
ィルムが溶断される恐れがある。そこで図4に示す如
く、ヒータ線3の近傍に放熱体5を設置して蓄熱を防ぐ
ようになしているが、余り大きな放熱体を設けることは
装置の大型化や重量化となるため、これだけでは充分な
放熱効果が得られるものとならなかった。
【0004】斯有る蓄熱によるシール部の過熱に基づく
フィルムの溶断等を防ぎ、良好なシール性を得るために
は徐々に変化するヒータ線による溶着温度を常時正確に
把握する必要があるが、従来の方法ではヒータ線そのも
のの温度を検出するのではなく、その近傍の温度を検出
しているため実際温度との間に熱伝導のズレによる誤差
が生ずるものとなる。
【0005】又、例えば図3は真空包装装置の概要を示
したものであるが、充填工程Aで充填物の収納されたフ
ィルム袋1は真空包装工程Bに受渡され、複数の真空チ
ャンバーB内に於て夫々れ真空にされた後、同チャンバ
ーB内に於て夫々れシールされ、次工程へ排出されるよ
うになされるが、斯有る真空包装装置では各真空チャン
バー13内に於けるシール装置に対し夫々れ温度計7が
設置してあり、設備コストが高くなると共に、保安管理
が面倒になる等の問題があった。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は上記問題点を解
決せんとするものであって、その特徴とするところはシ
ール部に設けたヒータ線へ通電して、重合するフィルム
を溶着するインパルスシール装置に於て、前記ヒータ線
を含むシール部周辺の温度を検知する温度センサーを設
け、該温度センサーの検知信号に基づいて前記ヒータ線
への通電時間又は導通角を制御することにある。

【作用】温度センサーによってヒータ線を含むシール部
周辺の温度を検知するようになしたので、シール部の正
確な溶着温度が把握出来、従ってヒータ線への通電時間
を適切に制御出来るものとなる。

【実施例】本発明の実施例を図面によって説明する。図
1は本発明のインパルスシール装置の溶着温度制御方法
をブロック図で示したもの、又図2はその具体的な装置
構成を示したものであって、従来技術と同一装置及び部
位には同一符号を付してある。
【0009】図2に示すように、シール装置のシール部
は断熱材15を介してヒータ線3が設置されて、その上
にテフロンシート14で被覆されてなり、又押圧蓋2先
端には圧着板6が設置された構成で、テフロンシート1
4を介してフィルム袋1をヒータ線3上に設置した後、
圧着板6を介して押圧蓋2で押圧し、同時にヒータ線3
に通電してシールするようになっている。
【0010】又図3に示す通り、シール装置のシール部
前面に対し、赤外線等を利用した非接触温度計8を設置
してなり、フィルム1に対する溶着温度としてヒータ線
3の温度又はシール部周辺の温度をその都度直接測定し
て、検知するようになさしめる。
【0011】斯くして検知された正確な溶着温度測定値
は、温度入力部9を経てCPU(制御装置)10へ送ら
れ、予じめ設定部11に入力されている初期条件と比較
演算し得られた出力信号をヒータ制御部12に入力し、
適切な溶着温度となるヒータ線3への通電時間を制御す
る。
【0012】上記の如くして行われるシール作業では、
シール部が徐々に蓄熱されても、その都度溶着温度は正
確に検知されるので、その検知信号に基づいて適切な通
電時間の制御が行われるものとなる。尚、位相制御回路
を用いヒータ線へ通電されている交流電源の導電角を制
御するようにしても、上記と同様の効果が得られるもの
となる。

【発明の効果】上記による本発明のインパルスシール装
置の温度制御方法は、温度センサーを設けてヒータ線を
含むシール部周辺の温度を直接検知するようにしたの
で、装置シール部の溶着温度を常時正確に把握すること
が出来、従って正確な測定値に基づいてヒータ線への通
電時間を制御することを可能ならしめることが出来、常
に適切な溶着温度となして良好なフィルム溶着を行うこ
との出来るものとなる。
【0014】尚、本発明方法を図3に示す如き真空包装
装置に適用したものでは、充填工程Aから袋1を受取る
位置近くに非接触型、又は接触型温度センサーを設け、
真空チャンバー13が開放された時に内部に設けたシー
ル部のヒータ線(又はその近傍)の温度を測定してその
測定値から蓄熱状態を把握し、通電時間を制御すること
を可能ならしめることから、従来の如く個々の真空チャ
ンバーに夫々れ温度計を設ける必要がなく、1台の真空
包装装置に1個の温度センサーを設ければ良いのであっ
て、設備コストが安くなるほか、取付けが非常に簡単に
なる等の優れた効果がある。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】 シール部に設けたヒータ線へ通電して、
    重合するフィルムを溶着するインパルスシール装置に於
    て、前記ヒータ線を含むシール部周辺の温度を検知する
    温度センサーを設け、該温度センサーの検知信号に基づ
    いて前記ヒータ線への通電時間又は導通角を制御するこ
    とを特徴とするインパルスシール装置の温度制御方法。
