[Prior Art] A multi-core connector A, which is called a round connector or a mini-den connector, is usually made of a metal material or a metal material that serves as a guide when connecting to a mating connector, as shown in FIG. A guide sleeve 1 formed of a synthetic resin material into a tubular shape, and a pole holding member 2 which is molded into a plug shape from the synthetic resin material and is integrally or integrally assembled with the guide sleeve 1.
Each of the plurality of pole holding holes 20 formed in the pole holding member 2 in a predetermined arrangement state at the time of forming the pole holding member 2 is formed by bending a metal plate to form a pin-shaped contact terminal portion 30 at the tip. The connector main body a is assembled by fitting and holding the contacts 3 which are provided with the channel-shaped connection terminal portion 31 on the rear end side and are held therein. The terminals of the core wires 40 of the cord b are connected to the connection terminal portion 31 on the rear end side (the right end side in FIG. 1) of the plurality of contacts 3 held by ... A body c molded of a synthetic resin material or a metal material so as to cover the connection portion between the contacts 3 ... And the core wire 40 of the cord b is assembled by molding or fitting on the outer periphery on the rear end side. Assembled in That.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] The contact 3 used in the thus-assembled multicore connector A is assembled on the connector main body a while being held by the pole holding member 2, and is attached to the connection terminal portion on the rear end side of the contact 3. In the work of connecting the end of the core wire 40 of the cord b by soldering, the pole holding hole 2 provided in the pole holding member 2
When the end of the core wire 40 of the cord b to be connected is inserted into the inner cavity of the contact 3 which is fitted and held in the pole holding hole 20 from the opening on the rear end side of 0, It may be inserted too deeply so that the tip side of the core wire 40 protrudes from the pin-shaped contact terminal portion 30 at the tip of the contact 3, or the insertion is too shallow and the connection by soldering becomes uncertain. I have a problem to do.

By the way, as a means for preventing the resin material from leaking to the front side of the pole holding member 2 along the inner cavity of the pole holding hole 20 at the time of molding with a synthetic resin material, a practical method is used. As disclosed in Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 46-40178, a means and an actual means for cutting and raising a stopper for blocking the inner cavity of a contact body formed in a channel shape from left and right side walls and a bottom wall. As disclosed in Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 61-167382, there is known a means for cutting and raising a sealing piece for blocking an inner cavity of a contact body from a bottom plate. However, these means do not ensure that the end of the core wire of the cord is blocked because there is a gap on the left or right or top and bottom.

[Purpose] The present invention has been made in order to solve these problems that have occurred in the conventional means, and the cord b for the connection terminal portion 31 at the rear end of the contact 3 held by the pole holding member 2 is provided. The insertion of the core wire 40 in the work of connecting the core wire 40 is restricted to a constant insertion depth, and at the same time, the means for restricting the insertion depth of the core wire 40 is formed by molding the body c with a synthetic resin material. At the time of carrying out, it becomes a member for preventing the poured synthetic resin material from leaking out to the front end face side of the pole holding member 2 so as to surely prevent the resin material from leaking out, An object of the present invention is to provide a new means capable of forming an engaging portion provided to engage with a lance of a fitted mintact without making the structure of the pole holding member troublesome.

[Means for Solving the Problem] In the present invention, as means for achieving this object, a pin-shaped or sheath-shaped contact terminal portion is formed by bending from a metal plate to form a contact terminal portion on the front end side. In a contact of a multi-core connector in which a channel-shaped body portion and a connection terminal portion are formed in the rear side and held in the pole holding holes of the pole holding member, in the upper edges of the left and right side walls of the body portion, facing backward. The protruding lances are each shaped and installed in such a shape that they project outward to the left and right as they go rearward, and at the location behind them that is located on the front end side of the connection terminal part, the width of the side walls spans the left and right side walls. A weir plate with a height that is aligned with the upper edge of the weir plate is installed by cutting and raising it from the floor plate, and the bent pieces bent from the upper edges of the left and right side walls are superposed on the front side of the upper end side of the weir plate, The first half member and the second half member that integrally join the holding members by fitting And the front end face of the latter half member, which is joined to the rear end face of the first half member,
A multi-core connector characterized in that a contact fitted into a pole holding hole is set at a position corresponding to a rear end portion of the lance, and an engaging portion with the lance is formed by a front end surface of the latter half member. It is to raise a contact.

[Effects of the Invention] As described above, in the contact of the multi-core connector according to the present invention configured as described above, the lances w and w mounted on the contact 3 have the pole holding holes of the latter half member 2b of the pole holding member 2. When it comes out from the rear half side 20b of 20 to the front side of the rear half member 2b, it expands to the left and right and engages with the front end face of the latter half member 2b. Barrier plate 33 provided on the body 32 of the contact 3
However, since the inner cavity of the latter half 20b of the pole holding hole 20 of the latter half member 2b is dammed with almost no gap, the contact 3 for connecting the core wire 40 of the cord b is formed.
When it is inserted into the connection terminal portion 31, the insertion of the core wire 40 can be properly regulated. In addition, this barrier plate 33 is a bent piece 34.3 that overlaps with the front surface of its upper end side.
Since it is reinforced by the load from the rear by 4, the resin material can be surely prevented from leaking to the front surface side of the pole holding member 2 when the resin material is molded.

Then, in order to hold the contact 3 fitted in the pole holding hole 20 of the pole holding member 2 in the fitted state, the contact 3
Since the engaging portions y and y formed on the pole holding member 2 so as to be engaged with the lances w and w of the pole holding member 2 are formed with the front end face of the latter half member 2b of the pole holding member 2, the pole holding member 2 is held. The shape of the hole 20 is simplified and the pole holding member 2 is easily formed.
