That is, in order to prevent the engine from stalling even when the maximum lifting load of the crane is hung in the idling state of the engine, the pump with the engine shaft torque smaller than the engine shaft torque of 9.9 (Kg ・ m) when the engine is idling (500 rpm). Need to drive. For example, if the pump is driven with an engine shaft torque of 7.1 (Kg ・ m), the pump shaft torque at this time is the gear ratio (P ・ T ・ O) between the engine and the pump.
The ratio is 0.8, which is 8.9 (Kg · m).

Here, t = P · q / 2π, where t: pump shaft torque (Kg · m) p: pump discharge pressure (Kg · cm 2 ) q: discharge amount per pump revolution (cc), and p is Since the maximum load of the crane is lifted, the maximum set pressure is 175 Kg / cm 2 , and by substituting these values, Therefore, a pump of 32c.c. per revolution will be used as a power source for this crane. When the pump discharge amount is increased, it is performed by increasing the pump rotation speed, that is, the engine rotation speed. Therefore, to obtain the required speed, the accelerator of the engine is turned off to obtain the required speed.

By the way, in a crane, the rated flow rate of the hydraulic circuit of the crane is determined to determine the rated speed of the crane.
Conventionally, the pump discharge rate when the pump speed is 1600 rpm is the rated flow rate. Therefore, the rated flow rate of this crane is: Q = qN, where Q: pump discharge rate (cc / min) q: discharge rate per pump revolution (cc) N: pump speed (rpm) Substituting q = 32 (cc) and N = 1600 (rpm), Becomes Since the engine speed is 2000 rpm when the pump speed is 1600 rpm, the engine speed is 2000 rpm in this crane to ensure the rated flow rate of 51 / min.
It means that it is rotated by. The engine speed is 20
If the speed is further increased from 00 rpm, the pump discharge rate will be higher than 51 / min accordingly, but the upper limit of the engine speed is limited by the engine governor, so the upper limit of pump discharge rate is also decided.

(Problems to be solved by the invention) Now, the engine speed of 2000 rpm is a high speed rotation region of the engine, and in particular, this crane is mounted on the truck chassis between the driver's seat and the bed of the truck. However, when operating this crane, the operating position is near the engine, so the engine noise is noisy, and therefore there is the problem that it is not possible to concentrate on the crane operation or that the surrounding sounds cannot be heard.

This is because in order to secure the rated flow rate (51 / min), the pump with a discharge rate of 32 c.c. per revolution was running at a high speed of 1600 rpm, and thus the engine was rotating at 2000 rpm. Therefore, in order to lower the engine noise, rotate the engine at a low speed and use the same rated flow rate (51 /
Therefore, a pump having a large pump capacity (discharging amount per one rotation) should be adopted. For example, the pump capacity to obtain the rated flow rate (51 / min) by rotating the engine speed at 750 rpm is
The pump speed is 600 rpm when the engine speed is 750 rpm.
Therefore, by substituting Q = q · N into Q = 51 / min and N = 600 rpm, the pump displacement is calculated as follows: q = Q / N = 51 × 10 3 /600=85c.c.

However, if the pump capacity is increased, then the engine stalls when the maximum load of the crane is hung in the idling state (500 rpm). I mean,
The pump shaft torque t at this time is t = q · p / 2π = 85 × 175 by substituting q = 85c.c. And p = 175Kg / cm 2 (maximum pressure) into q = 2π · t / p. /2π=23.7Kg ・ m, and the engine shaft torque T at this time is 0.8 for the PTO ratio.
Therefore, it is 19 Kg ・ m (= 23.7 × 0.8), which is larger than the engine shaft torque of 9.9 Kg ・ m at idling (500 rpm).

If you set the engine speed to 750 rpm,
Although the engine stalling problem is solved, in this case, since the pump always supplies a large flow rate, a new problem occurs that the fine movement operation which has been conventionally performed cannot be performed.

As a method of increasing the number of revolutions of the engine, it is sufficient to drive the accelerator mechanism of the engine through a link or the like as conventionally known, and as a method of increasing the pump capacity, for example, two small capacity constant discharge pumps are used. Are driven by the engine at the same time, the oil discharged from one pump flows to the crane circuit side when idling (500 rpm), and the oil discharged from the other pump flows to the tank side for no-load operation. It suffices that the discharge oil of the other pump gradually joins the circuit side of the crane via the link mechanism or the like. As they merge, the pump capacity increases as a whole, and finally the total capacity of the two pumps becomes the pump capacity. Alternatively, separately from this, one variable displacement pump may be used from the beginning, and this may be operated via a conventionally known link mechanism or the like.

(Operation) Therefore, when idling (500 rpm), when two small capacity constant discharge pumps are used, only the discharge oil from one pump is flowing to the crane circuit side and the discharge from the other pump Oil is returning to the tank side. If the engine speed is increased from this state, the discharge amount of one pump will increase accordingly. At the same time, the oil discharged from the other pump begins to join the crane circuit side. When the engine speed reaches 750 rpm, which is the rated speed in the present invention, the merging of the discharge oil of the other pump ends, and the pump discharge amount is the sum of the capacities of the two pumps as a whole. In the case of using the variable displacement pump, when the engine speed is increased, the discharge amount increases correspondingly, and at the same time, the pump capacity also increases, so that the discharge amount further increases. Note that if the engine speed is increased above 750 rpm, the pump will be driven with the capacity that is the sum of the pump capacities of the two pumps (the final pump capacity in the case of a variable capacity pump) after that. However, in the present invention, 1000 rpm is set as the engine rotation speed at which the engine does not blow up, and the engine is not used at the rotation speed of 1000 rpm or higher.

The specific operation when two small capacity constant discharge pumps are used is explained in Fig. 1. Two constant discharge pumps with pump capacities of 32c.c. and 53c.c. When driving, idling (500 rpm)
In the above, only the discharge oil from the pump with a pump capacity of 32c.c. is made to flow to the hydraulic circuit side of the crane, and then the discharge oil of the other pump (53c.c.) is made to the hydraulic circuit side of the crane while increasing the engine speed. When the rotation speed reaches 750 rpm, the pump capacity becomes 85 c.c. (32 + 53) and the rated flow rate of 51 / min flows. If the engine speed is increased above 750 rpm, the pump speed will increase the pump speed of 85 c.c. and the discharge amount will increase, but in the present invention the engine does not blow up. Considering the number of revolutions of about 1000 rpm, this 1000r
It should not be used at engine speeds above pm (used in region C shown in Fig. 1).

By the way, in the present invention, this simultaneous operation can be performed by the crane operation lever. That is, the operating lever of the crane is attached to an oil passage switching valve for switching the oil discharged from the pump, and the operating lever operates the actuator of the crane by switching the oil discharged from the pump. After operating the crane with this operating lever, the operating lever is further moved in the operating direction so that the simultaneous operation can be performed.

In FIG. 3, reference numeral 1 denotes this operating lever device, 2 denotes an oil passage switching valve which is switched by this operating lever device 1, and pressure oil from the pump is switched by this switching valve to operate the actuator of the crane. It is what makes me.
Reference numeral 6 is an oil passage switching spool of the oil passage switching valve 2, 7 is a link pivotally supported about a pin 8 at a fixed position,
By rotating the pin 8 to the left and right, the pin 9 is provided at a proper position between the recess 9 provided at one end of the pin 8 and the spool 6.
10 and 10 are engaged to switch the spool 6. 11
Is a lever portion, one end of which is pivotally supported by the pin 8 and the other end is provided with a handle 12. A spring 13 is interposed between a bush 14 which is slidable around the outer periphery of the lever portion 11 and a stopper member 15 which is screwed to the lever portion.
14 is pressed against the link 7 by the spring 13, so that the lever portion 11 swings relative to the link 7 only when a predetermined operating force acts on the operating lever 4. And link 7 are bound. This restraining force can be adjusted by the screwing position of the stopper member 15. Reference numeral 16 is an operation link attached to one end of the operating lever 4.

Therefore, when the handle 12 of the operation lever 4 is rotated upward or downward in the drawing, the link 7 is rotated around the pin 8 together with the lever portion 11 to switch the spool 6 of the oil passage switching valve 2 (fourth).
(B) and (D) in the figure). Next, when an operating force is further applied to the handle 12 from the switching position, the spool 6 has already reached the stroke end and does not operate, but this time, the urging force of the spring 13 is lost to the operating force, and the operating lever 4 and the link 7 are lost. And the constraint is released and only the operating lever 4 has the pin 8
It will rotate around (Fig. 4).

Simultaneous operation in the present invention is based on the operation link 16 shown in FIG.
This is done by using the movement from (d) to (e) or (b) to (a).
The oil passage switching valve 2 is moved by the movements from (c) to (d) or (c) to (b).
Is switched to operate the actuator of the crane.
At this time, the engine is in the idling state, and the pump capacity is in the initial low discharge state. In this (d) or (b) state, the link 17 connected to the actuating link 16 moves to the left or right from the position (c) in the neutral state, but the accelerator driving means of the engine The link 19 that is connected to the link mechanism 18 and the link mechanism 18 that simultaneously operates the link 20 that is connected to the means for increasing the capacity of the pump are still in a non-collision state. By further rotating the operating lever 4,
When the state (d) or (b) is changed to the state (e) or (a), the link 17 connected to the operating link 16 abuts against the link mechanism 18, thereby connecting the link 19 and the link 20. (Effect of the Invention) According to the present invention, the same rated speed of the conventional crane can be obtained in the low speed rotation region of the engine, and the engine noise during crane work can be reduced. Further, since the pump capacity increases in accordance with the axial torque of the engine, the engine horsepower and the pump horsepower are well matched, and energy can be saved.
Although the pump capacity is further increased, when the engine is idling, the pump capacity is the same as the conventional one, so that the fine movement operation of the crane can be performed as in the conventional one.
