The present invention relates to a dust collector changeover switch that operates two types of switches, a power switch and a high / low speed changeover switch for changing the amount of intake of air, by a single switch lever.

Dust and cutting dust generated by the use of electric tools are directly absorbed by connecting a suction hose to the cutting dust discharge part of the electric tool or directly collecting dust that is scattered on the floor from the suction hose. The dust collector used in this case is equipped with a switch for switching the dust absorption capacity, separately from the power switch of the dust collector. When a dust collector is used, after turning on the power switch, the high / low speed changeover switch is appropriately operated in consideration of the amount of dust to be absorbed and the power consumption and noise of the dust collector.
【0003】[0003]
The user of the dust collector appropriately selects the first stage for operating the dust collector at high speed, the second stage for operating at low speed, and the third stage for stopping the power supply. However, the conventional dust collector has a power switch and a high / low speed changeover switch. Since the and are separately provided, the high / low speed changeover switch remains in an uncertain state of high speed or low speed when not in use when the power switch is OFF. Therefore, when the power switch is newly turned on, it is necessary to confirm which side the high speed changeover switch is set to in order to confirm whether the dust collection force starts at high speed or low speed. It is troublesome for the person to bend down for visual confirmation and to search by hand for tactile confirmation. When the dust collector uses an electric motor to switch the dust collection power between high and low speeds, running the dust collector at a high speed immediately after starting will cause a failure and output reduction because the load on the electric motor is large, and the dust collector's effect will not be sufficient. I couldn't make it work.

The changeover switch of the dust collector moves in three steps in a direction orthogonal to the tilting direction of the switch lever, and slides through the changeover hole when moving from the first step position to the second step position. One snap switch changes, and the other moves only through the passage hole and does not change. Next, when moving from the position of the second stage to the position of the third stage, the other snap switch that did not switch earlier slides through the switching hole and switches, and the one that switched first passes through the passage hole. It moves and never changes.

Numeral 17 is a changeover switch of the dust collector which is arranged horizontally on the upper part of the housing 1 as shown in FIG. Switch levers 18a and 19a of a power switch 18 and a high / low speed changeover switch 19 are fitted and inserted into a switch plate 17a slidably attached to the housing 1. As shown in FIG. 2, the power switch 18 and the high / low speed changeover switch 19 are fixed inside the housing 1 by a casing 20.
FIG. 3 is an explanatory view showing the operation of the dust collector changeover switch including the switch plate 17a of the changeover switch 17, the power switch 18, and the high / low speed changeover switch 19, and FIG. The right side (B) shows the stage where the dust collector is operated at a low speed, and the right side (C) shows the stage where the dust collector is operated at a high speed. The power switch 18 and the high / low speed changeover switch 19 are aligned in the drawing. . The power switch 18 and the high / low speed changeover switch 19 for changing the intake amount of air are attached so that the tilt directions of the switch levers are the same, and the power switch 18 is turned off when the switch lever is tilted to the right side of the drawing. Also, the high / low speed switching switch 19 is mounted on the left side of the drawing such that when the switch lever is tilted to the low speed side (LOW). A switch plate 17a covering the power switch 18 and the high / low speed changeover switch 19 is attached to the outer surface of the dust collector so as to move in a direction orthogonal to the tilt direction of the switch lever. Further, the switch plate 17a is provided with a power source passage hole 18b, a power source switching hole 18c communicating with the power source passage hole 18b, a high / low passage hole 19b, and a height switching hole 19c communicating with the high / low passage hole 19b. The source passage hole 18b and the power source switching hole 18c are slidably fitted in the switch lever 18a of the power switch 18, and the high / low passage hole 19b and the high / low switching hole 19c are slidably fitted in the switch lever 19a of the high / low speed switching switch 19.
As for the extending direction of these holes, the power passage hole 18b and the high-low passage hole 19b forming the passage hole are provided in parallel with the sliding direction of the switch plate 17a, and the power source switching hole 18c and The high / low switching hole 19c is provided obliquely in the sliding direction of the switch plate 17a. In particular, the angle at which the switching holes 18c and 19c obliquely intersect is set to an arbitrary angle depending on the switching angle of the switch lever, the length of inserting the switch lever into the switch plate 17a, and the sliding length of the switch plate 17a.
Further, regarding the positional relationship of the passage holes 18b and 19b, the power source switching hole 18c, and the height switching hole 19c in the sliding direction of the switch plate 17a, the distance between the power switch 18 and the high / low speed switching switch 19 is the same as the passage hole 18b. , 19b equal to the length between the ends.
As a result, when the switch plate 17a is slid, the power switch 18 and the high / low speed changeover switch 19 can be interlocked and switched. That is, in FIG. 3 (A) showing the state where the power supply is stopped, the power switch 18 is on the OFF side and the high / low speed changeover switch 19 is on the LOW side (hereinafter, the switch side in the drawing is underlined). Attached.). Then, when the switch plate 17a is moved in the upward direction (arrow S) in the drawing to reach the low speed operation stage, the switch lever 19a of the high / low speed changeover switch 19 moves through the high / low speed passage hole 19b and maintains the LOW side. Then, the switch lever 18a of the power switch 18 is switched to the ON side by the power switching hole 18c, and the state shown in FIG. 3B is obtained. Next, when the switch plate 17a is moved one step further upward (arrow S), the switch lever 18a of the power switch 18 moves through the power passage hole 18b and maintains the ON side, and the switch of the high / low speed changeover switch 19 is switched. The lever 19a is switched to the high speed side (HIGH) by the high / low speed switching hole 19c, and FIG. 3C shows a stage in which the dust collector is operated at a high speed.
FIG. 4 is an explanatory diagram showing modification examples (2) to (3) of the switch plate 17a when the mounting positions of the power switch 18 and the high / low speed changeover switch 19 are changed. 3 shows the mounting state in which the power switch 18 is arranged on the upper side and the high / low speed switching switch 19 is arranged on the lower side, and the steps from A to B to C in FIG. 3 are shown on the right side of: The state of is indicated by characters (ON / OFF, HIGH / LOW). Note that FIG. 4 (1) shows FIG. FIG. 4 (2) shows the case where the high / low speed changeover switch 19 of FIG. 4 (1) is attached to the left and right, and FIG. 4 (3) shows the same high / low speed changeover switch 19 as in FIG. 4 (2). The case where the passage holes 18b and 19b can be communicated by a two-dot chain line is shown.
A sound absorbing material 21 made of a polyurethane foam material is attached to the exhaust port 4 at the base portion 4 a of the upper damper. As shown in FIG. 5, this sound absorbing material 21 is provided with one protrusion 21a having a diameter of 8 mm per unit area of 15 mm square, and the exhaust passage of the sound absorbing material 21 has a volume ratio of 78%. It has less pressure loss and superior dust absorption efficiency compared to a sound absorption filter. As a result, the space for mounting the left and right side filters and the rear filter in the related art can be omitted, the size of the entire dust collector can be reduced, and the labor for mounting can be saved. The same effect can be obtained even with a sound-absorbing material in which one protrusion having a diameter of 4 mm is provided per unit area of 8 mm square and the exhaust passage has a volume ratio of 80%.
The ground wire 23, which is electrically conductively attached to the housing 1 of the dust collector and the adapter 22 of the hose (not shown), is generated on the vinyl hose itself because the acrylic fiber coating is coated with copper-containing paint. The generated static electricity can be discharged to the ground through the paint material, so that static electricity does not flow to the user of the dust collector with the hose in hand, and the user does not feel uncomfortable.

According to the present invention, the user of the dust collector simply moves the switch plate to the position of the desired usage pattern depending on whether the dust collector operates at high speed, operates at low speed, or stops the power supply. Since two snap switches can be switched, there is no need to check the status of the snap switch, and a conventional dust collector can be used to provide a dust collector at low cost, and high-speed operation immediately after starting the dust collector. It is possible to prevent the failure of the electric motor and the decrease in the output, and to fully exert the effect of the dust collector.
