【発明の効果】以上のように、本発明に係るビデオテー
プレコーダでは、複数のプログラムが記録された記録領
域の一部に各プログラムの記録位置を相対アドレスで示
す頭出し制御情報が記録されたビデオテープをビデオテ
ープレコーダ本体により再生し、上記ビデオテープレコ
ーダ本体による再生出力に応じた画像表示を行う表示部
により上記頭出し制御情報に応じた各プログラムのメニ
ュー表示を行い、上記表示部に表示されたメニュー画面
から制御情報を読み取って各プログラムの頭出し制御を
制御部により行うので、メニュー表示による頭出し制御

目の頭出し制御情報を読み取って各プログラムの頭出し
制御を行う制御部とを備えることを特徴とするビデオテ
ープレコーダ。1.
