The electric water heater thus constructed is
Water is supplied from the water supply pipe 4 into the hot water storage tank 2 while the water stop valve is opened and the water pressure is adjusted by the pressure reducing valve to fill the hot water storage tank 2 with water.
Then, when the heater 3 is energized to heat the water in the hot water storage tank 2, the water in the hot water storage tank 2 moves high temperature water upward and low temperature water downward due to the difference in specific gravity, and the water in the hot water layer and the low temperature layer is almost It is boiled while being separated into layers, and the electric water heater is ready for hot water supply. Then, the boiled hot water is discharged from the hot water discharge pipe 5 by opening the faucet. At this time, the amount of water discharged is supplied from the water supply pipe 4 into the hot water storage tank 2, and the high temperature water below does not mix with the low temperature water that has been supplied, and is separated into almost two layers. It is pushed upwards. In the state of being separated into two layers, a mixed layer exists between the high temperature water and the low temperature water as shown in FIG.

The conventional hot water storage tank 2 as described above can effectively utilize the temperature stratification, that is, the water in the hot water storage tank 2 is separated into two layers, a high temperature layer and a low temperature layer. The vertical type is used so that hot water can be supplied reliably. However, in order to maintain this temperature stratification, it is necessary to make the vertical hot water storage tank 2 into a long cylindrical shape. Therefore, an installation space is required in the depth of the hot water storage tank 2, that is, in the height direction. It was inconvenient to receive many treatments. In addition, it has been a big problem to secure this installation place when arranging the vertical type hot water storage tank.

Therefore, in order to solve such a problem,
For example, as disclosed in JP-A-1-102244, a hot water outlet is provided at an upper convex portion of a horizontal type hot water storage tank having convex and concave portions, a water inlet at a lower convex portion, and a heater and water at a bottom of a lower convex portion. There is a baffle that reduces the flow of water at the opposite part of the mouth, a thermostat and a tank support are attached at appropriate places, and a hot water storage tank is covered with a heat insulating material. However, this horizontal type hot water storage tank has slopes from both ends in order to make the top and bottom of the hot water storage tank so that the hot water in the hot water storage tank can be discharged efficiently. Therefore, it takes time and effort to design and manufacture the structure of the tank.

Also in this embodiment configured as described above, when hot water discharge from the hot water storage tank 11 is started in the same manner as in the case described in the first embodiment, the amount of hot water discharged is supplied to the water supply pipe. Water is supplied from 14 to the hot water storage tank 11.
The supplied low temperature water passes through the porous plate 17 while pushing the high temperature water in the hot water storage tank 11 by its water pressure, flows from the layer S1 to the layer S2, and from the layer S2 to the layer S3, and at the same time, the high temperature water also exits the hot water outlet pipe 15 Push it to the side. At this time, each layer S1, S2 ...
A part of the low temperature water flowing inside tries to be separated into upper and lower due to the difference in specific gravity, but most of the high temperature water is pushed out to the next layer by the water pressure without mixing with the low temperature water and stored in the hot water storage tank 11. Only the hot water that has been supplied is reliably supplied.

Example 4. FIG. 6 is a vertical sectional view of a fourth embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 7 is a plan view of FIG. 6 showing a part of the sectional view. In this embodiment, the gaps B are formed in the hot water storage tank 11 alternately symmetrically in the vertical direction.
A plurality of partition plates 18 made of the same material as that of the honeycomb body 16 are arranged between the water supply port 12 and the hot water outlet 13 in the hot water storage tank 11 at a predetermined interval, and the partition plate 18 and the gap B supply water. A running water channel A is formed between the mouth 12 and the outlet 13. The gaps B in the middle of the flowing water passage A are formed alternately in the upper and lower directions, and all are located in the middle of the flow of the flowing water passage A, so that the dead end is not formed. The water inlet 12 and the hot water outlet 13 are provided on the side where the end partition plates 18a and 18b are mounted, that is, on the side without the gaps B1 and B2. In FIG. 6, the water inlet 12 is opposite to the gap B1. On the right end of the hot water storage tank 11 on the side
3 is provided in the lower part of the left end portion of the hot water storage tank 11 on the side opposite to the gap B2. Therefore, there is no fear that a dead end is formed in the vicinity of the water supply port 12 and the hot water outlet 13 on the opposite side of the flow direction of the flowing water channel A.

FIG. 8 shows the hot water storage tank 1 confirmed in the experiment.
1 shows a temperature distribution in the hot water storage tank 11 every 1 minute from the start of hot water discharge when hot water of about 60 ° C. is stored in 1 and discharged.
Here, the hot water storage tank 11 has a diameter of 200 mm and a length of 15
The partition plate 18 having a pitch of 50 mm was used. The water supply flow rate is about 7.6 L / min, which is the flow rate when using in a general kitchen. The hot water storage tank 11 and the hot water outlet pipe 15 are not provided with a heat insulating material. As clearly shown in the color change in the figure corresponding to the temperature change over time, when the water is supplied from the water supply port 12, the supplied low-temperature water travels along the running channel A, and the high-temperature water is cooled to the low temperature. The hot water is discharged from the hot water outlet 13 with almost no mixing with water.

FIG. 9 is a drawing characteristic of hot water discharged from the hot water outlet 13 obtained in the above experiment, which is about 8% of the total hot water storage capacity of the initial high temperature water of about 60 ° C.
It shows that 5% of high temperature water is discharged. That is, a high efficiency of about 90% was obtained as the takeout efficiency. This is because the high temperature water and the low temperature water are not mixed with each other and only the high temperature water is surely pushed out while maintaining the temperature stratification as shown in the temperature distribution diagram of FIG.

In the above-described second embodiment, since the space portions R1 and R2 are provided above and below, the water supply port 12 is provided below one end side, and the hot water outlet 13 is provided above the other end side. In the above, since a single running water channel A was formed from the water supply port 12 to the hot water outlet 13, the water supply port 12 and the hot water outlet 13 need only be on different sides. , Both may be provided above, or both may be provided below. Whether the water supply port 12 and the hot water outlet 13 are provided above or below depends on how the gaps B1 and B2 formed by the partition plate closest to the water supply port 12 or the hot water outlet 13 are provided.

Example 5. FIG. 10 is a vertical cross-sectional view of a fifth embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, the same material as that of the honeycomb body 16 of the first embodiment is provided between the water supply port 12 and the hot water outlet 13 in the hot water storage tank 11. A spiral partition plate 19 having a structure is arranged, and a low-temperature water supplied from the water supply port 12 into the hot water storage tank 11 is formed along the partition plate 19 so as to spirally flow while forming a flowing water passage A. .

By virtue of such construction, the fourth embodiment
The same action and effect as can be obtained. That is, the high temperature water stored in the hot water storage tank 11 is pushed out through the flow passage A formed by the spiral partition plate 19 due to the water pressure of the supplied low temperature water, and is almost mixed with the low temperature water. It is certainly discharged without hot water. Moreover, since the flowing water channel A is spirally swirling, the flowing water resistance is small and the flow becomes smooth as compared with the above-described embodiment.

First, high-temperature water is stored in the hot water storage tank 11 constructed as described above. From this state, when hot water in the hot water storage tank 11 is tapped from the hot water tap pipe 15, the amount of tapped water is supplied from the water feed pipe 14 to the hot water storage tank 11 through the water feed port 12 and the speed reduction means 20A. Since the water flow at the time of water supply is weakened by the speed reducing means, the supplied water spreads below the hot water storage tank 11 and gradually pushes the hot water upward from below. The details of the operation at this time will be described based on FIGS. 14 to 17 by comparing the case where the speed reducing means is provided and the case where the speed reducing means is not provided in this embodiment.

The temperature distribution chart shown in FIG. 14 is similar to that of FIG. 8 except that the hot water storage tank 11 of FIG.
The figure shows the temperature distribution every 1 minute from the start of hot water discharge when hot water of about 60 ° C. is stored in the hot water. The experimental conditions are shown in Figure 8.
It is almost the same as the case of, and the diameter of the hot water storage tank is about 200 m
m, length 1500 mm, tap water flow rate about 7.5 L / min,
Further, the deceleration by the deceleration means 20A is 1/25, and actually 1.59 m / s is decelerated to 0.064 m / s. The hot water storage tank 11 and the hot water outlet pipe 15 are not provided with a heat insulating material.

As shown in this temperature distribution diagram, when water is supplied, the flow velocity is reduced by the speed reducing means 20A provided at the water supply port 12 in the hot water storage tank 11, and along the bottom surface in the hot water storage tank 11. It gradually flows toward the other end so as to sneak under the high-temperature water, and due to the difference in specific gravity, the high-temperature water and the low-temperature water supplied do not mix, and are well separated into the high-temperature water side and the low-temperature water side, that is, The thermal stratification is successful and the hot water is pushed upward while maintaining this thermal stratification. What should be noted in this temperature distribution diagram is that the proportion of the mixed layer at the boundary separating the high temperature water and the low temperature water is small. That is, the amount of high temperature water and low temperature water mixed is small. When the proportion of this mixed layer increases, the proportion of the high-temperature water that can be tapped out of the total hot water storage capacity decreases accordingly, and the tapping performance deteriorates.

FIG. 15 shows the outlet temperature characteristics of the hot water discharged from the outlet pipe 15 in the case shown in FIG. 14, and like the case of Example 4, of the total hot water storage capacity of the initial high temperature water of about 60 ° C. It indicates that about 90% of high temperature water is discharged. That is, a high efficiency of about 90% was obtained as the takeout efficiency. This is because the high temperature water and the low temperature water are not mixed as shown in the temperature distribution diagram of FIG. 14 and only the high temperature water is surely extruded while maintaining the temperature stratification. Because there are few. Also, in the experiment, about 85 to 90 at the flow rate of tapping water of about 5.0 to 12.0 L / min.
% Extraction efficiency was obtained. The outlet of the hot water storage tank in this embodiment is located at a position of 5/6 of the diameter of the hot water storage tank. Therefore, if the tap hole is provided further above, the extraction efficiency is further improved.

On the other hand, FIG. 16 shows a hot water storage tank having a water supply port at the lower portion on one end side and a hot water outlet port at the upper end on the other end side, similar to FIG. 11, when the speed reducing means is not attached to the water supply port. The temperature distribution in the hot water storage tank when hot water of 60 ° C. is stored and discharged is shown. The conditions of the experiment are the same as in the case where the speed reducing means shown in FIG. 14 is provided. This Figure 1
As shown in the temperature distribution chart of 6, when there is no deceleration means,
When water is supplied from the water supply port 12, diffusion occurs in the hot water storage tank 11 due to the water flow of the supply water at the time of water supply, and since the hot water storage tank 11 is a horizontal type, temperature stratification is not performed well and the hot water storage tank 11 is The temperature of the hot water will be lowered overall. In this way, since the diffusion occurs in the hot water storage tank 11 and the hot water temperature decreases, the hot water temperature starts to drop shortly after the hot water starts, as shown in FIG. Therefore, the take-out efficiency is about 10% and the tapping performance is very poor.

Example 7. In the sixth embodiment, the water supply port 12 is provided at the lower part on one end side of the hot water storage tank 11, the hot water outlet 13 is provided at the upper part on the other end side, and the speed reducing means 20A is provided at the water supply port 12. An embodiment in which 13 is provided on the same side as the water supply port 12 is shown as Embodiment 7 with reference to FIG. Also in the seventh embodiment, as in the case of the sixth embodiment, when the hot water stored in the hot water storage tank 11 is tapped from the tap opening 13, the amount of tapped water is supplied from the feed port 12. Water is supplied, the flow velocity is reduced by the speed reducing means 20A provided at the water supply port 12, flows toward the other end side so as to dive under the high temperature water along the bottom surface in the hot water storage tank 11, and due to the difference in specific gravity, the high temperature water The temperature stratification is successfully performed by forming a separation layer without mixing with the supplied low temperature water. Then, while maintaining this temperature stratification, the high temperature water is pushed upward, and only the high temperature water is surely discharged from the discharge port 13 to the discharge pipe 15. Further, if the water supply port and the hot water outlet port are provided on one end side of the hot water storage tank in this way, the connection between the water supply pipe and the hot water outlet pipe becomes easy, and the space for piping is not required.
