Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten operation time to half, and reduce consumption of recording paper sheets by half by providing friction plates and holding members by two pieces respectively, and feeding two documents simultaneously by cooperating with a feeding roller. CONSTITUTION:A document feeding part 2 is inclined as a whole, and a document 6 is made easily movable to the feeding roller 1 side by dead weight. Document width determining plates 2B and 2C are provided in both end parts, and a separating plate 3 is provided in a central part. Friction plates 7 and the holding members 8 to feed out the document in order one by one by sandwiching it by cooperating with the feeding roller 1 to feed out the document in order, are respectively provided by two pieces in front of the document feeding part 2 in which plural documents can be juxtaposed with each other. Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, the feed roller 1 is configured such that a rotational force is applied in the arrow direction by a drive mechanism (not shown).
