(57) [Summary] [Purpose] To improve the cost performance of a hybrid air conditioner. [Structure] In an air conditioner of a type in which heating is performed by a gas water heater and cooling is performed by a heat pump, a heat pump heat exchanger is provided upstream of a ventilation passage provided with a convection fan in an indoor unit for both heating and cooling A heat exchanger for hot water is arranged so that both the gas water heater and the heat pump perform heating during the heating start-up operation. [Effect] The rise time can be shortened by simply adding a four-way valve and a two-way valve without changing the capacities of the conventional gas water heater and heat pump. Since the capacity of the water heater is about half that of the conventional type, it is possible to reduce the size and cost.

Generally, a gas water heater has a larger heating capacity than a heat pump heater, so that a hybrid type air conditioner that uses a heat pump for cooling and a gas water heater for heating is wider than before. It is popular. Figure 3
Shows a system diagram thereof, in which the gas water heater 1 and the indoor heat exchangers 5 and 6 of the heat pump outdoor unit 2 provided separately outside the room are arranged in front of and behind the ventilation passage in the same indoor unit 3. The heat pump 2 is operated during cooling, and the gas water heater 1 is operated during heating. In this case, since only the cooling operation needs to be performed in the heat pump outdoor air 2, the four-way valve or the like for switching between heating and cooling is not provided.

However, the heat pump is originally capable of cooling and heating. Therefore, in order to improve the heating capacity, a gas water heater is added instead of heating by the heat pump. Not only is it not reasonable to use a hybrid type because it does not meet the demand for miniaturization of equipment, but it also leaves the heating function of the heat pump idle, and recently, it has been rapidly increasing in order to quickly warm the temperature of a cold room. Although the number of users who desire heating specifications is increasing, there is a problem in that quick heating specifications make the gas water heater large and the piping thick, making installation difficult.
Therefore, the present invention is a hybrid type air conditioner,
The object of the present invention is to solve the above problems by effectively utilizing the heating function originally provided in the heat pump.

According to the above construction, the air sucked into the indoor unit 3 by the convection fan 4 is first preheated by the heat pump heat exchanger 5 and further warmed by the hot water heat exchanger 6, so that the startup is improved. The heating capacity at the time is greatly improved and the rise time can be shortened,
Rapid heating specifications can be achieved without changing the specifications of the gas water heater.

FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of an air conditioner according to the present invention. A heat pump heat exchanger 5 and a hot water heat exchanger 6 are provided side by side with an indoor unit 3 which also serves as a cooling and heating system. The heat exchanger for use 5 is connected to the heat pump outdoor unit 2, and the heat exchanger for hot water 6 is connected to the outdoor gas water heater 1, respectively. An indoor convection fan 4 sucks indoor air into the indoor unit 3 and sends the indoor air through both heat exchangers 5 and 6, and the heat pump heat exchanger 5 is located upstream and the hot water heat exchange is carried out. The container 6 is arranged on the downstream side.
Reference numeral 7 is a flow rate variable valve provided in the hot water pipe for controlling the room temperature.

In the figure, the solid line arrow indicates the flow of the refrigerant during the heating operation of the heat pump 2, and the dotted line arrow indicates the flow of the refrigerant during the cooling operation. During the cooling operation, as indicated by the dotted line arrow, first, After the refrigerant that has been compressed by the compressor 8 and has increased in temperature passes through the outdoor unit side heat exchanger 9 to release heat,
It expands through the capillary tube 10, cools the indoor air by the heat exchanger 5 of the indoor unit 3, and returns to the compressor 8 through the four-way valve 11. Reference numeral 12 is a propeller fan for heat exchange. Next, during the heating start-up operation, as shown by the solid line arrow, the refrigerant returned from the indoor unit 3 expands in the capillary tube 10 to lower the temperature, and heat is taken from the outside air by the outdoor unit side heat exchanger 9. The compressor 8 compresses it to a high temperature, and the heat pump heat exchanger 5 of the indoor unit 3 gives heat to the indoor air. A defrosting two-way valve 13 is for removing the frost adhering to the heat exchanger 9 during the heating operation.

FIG. 2 shows the flow of air in the indoor unit 3. During the cooling operation, only the heat pump heat exchanger 5 out of the two heat exchangers 5 and 6 performs the cooling operation, Although the air is cooled, during the heating start-up operation, the heating operation is performed by both the gas water heater 1 and the heat pump 2, and the air sucked into the indoor unit 3 is first cooled by the heat pump heat exchanger 5 to a medium level. After being preheated to the temperature,
It is warmed to a high temperature by the hot water heat exchanger 6. After the indoor temperature reaches the set temperature, the heat pump 2 is stopped and heating is performed only with hot water.

As described above, the air conditioner according to the present invention utilizes the heating function of the heat pump that is idle in the conventional hybrid air conditioner to preheat the indoor air upstream of the hot water heat exchanger. Therefore, without changing the capacities of the gas water heater and heat pump, simply add the four-way valve and the two-way valve and change the control program to increase the heating capacity at startup. There is an advantage that it can be improved and rapid heating can be performed, and when rapid heating is not required, the capacity of the gas water heater can be almost halved compared to the conventional one, so downsizing of equipment and cost reduction can be achieved. There is an advantage that the request can be met.
