Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 産業上の利用分野 本発明は人工肛門用器具、更に詳しくは、着用者の小孔
周囲領域へ取付けるもので、これにバツグもしくはパウ
チを取外し可能に取付けることができる体側人工肛門用
器具に関する。
従来技術 人工肛門用器具として、バツグのカツプリング要素が接
着剤パツドのカツプリング要素と掛合し、パツドが着用
者に粘着している器具が知られている。良好な器具の一
つは、米国特許第4460363号に示される。
本発明の目的は、人工肛門用器具の割れ目に糞便物がた
まるのを実際に完全に回避できなくとも、その機会を大
巾に減少できる人工肛門用器具を提供することである。
発明の構成と効果 本発明は、着用者の小孔周囲領域へ取付ける人工肛門用
器具であつて、皮膚に取付けることができる医療用接着
性物質のパツド、パツドの表面に取付けられる半径方向
に延びるフランジおよびバツグもしくはパウチに取付け
られる対応する第２カツプリング要素と連結するように
構成されたループ状の立上りリブを有するパツドに固定
された第１カツプリング要素、ならびに第１カツプリン
グ要素の半径方向内側に該要素に隣接して設けた内側シ
ユート部材から成り、該シユート部材は第１カツプリン
グ要素の半径方向内面の全体をカバーする実質的円筒状
の壁と、その一端に、２つのカツプリング要素を連結し
たときシユート部材を正しい位置に捕捉できるように設
置された半径方向外方に延びるフランジとを有すること
を特徴とする人工肛門用器具を提供するものである。
本発明は、若干の自明の改変を加えることにより、種々
の人工肛門用器具、特にパツグとパウチのそれぞれにお
いて一対の相互に交換しうるカツプリング要素を有する
器具に適用することができる。
本発明の好ましい実施態様において、第１カツプリング
要素はリブを有し、第２カツプリング要素は小孔用口を
取囲む溝を有し、シユート部材のフランジは該溝の半径
方向内部壁の端部に掛合する位置に設置されている。
本発明は、添付図面を参照して以下に示すその具体例の
記載からより具体的に理解されるであろう。なお、本発
明はこの具体例に制限されるものではない。
第１図は、２つのカツプリング要素を合せ、かつシユー
ト部材を含めた状態（バツグもしくはパウチを省略）を
示す正面図、および 第２図は、２つのカツプリング要素およびシユート部材
を示す人工肛門用器具を組立てた状態（バツグもしくは
パウチを輪郭で図示）を示す垂直軸断面図である。
本発明に係る図示の人工肛門用器具は、着用者の小孔周
囲領域へ取付けられるもので、皮膚に取付けることがで
きる医療用接着性物質のパツド20、第１カツプリング要
素22、およびシユート部材24を包含する。パツド20はそ
の形状が実質的に角形であつて、その後部面26に剥離し
うる保護層を有していてよい。第２図で示される如く、
パツドには中心小孔用口28が切取られているが、購入者
に売られているような、実質的に連続した角形パツチを
構成するパツドであつてもよい。
カツプリング要素22は、半径方向外方に延びるフランジ
30と該フランジから延びるリブ部材32から成り、小孔用
口を取巻いている。リブ32はリム34および一体となつた
屈撓性シール細長片36を有する。なお、これらの部分の
作用についてのより詳しい記載は、米国特許第4460363
号に開示されている。
第１カツプリング要素22は、第２カツプリング要素56と
協働するようになつている。後者の要素は後述の如く溝
形状を有し、また環状を成して小孔用口を取囲んでい
る。すなわち、第２カツプリング要素56は内側壁50、外
側壁52および溝底部54を有する。人工肛門用器具の軸を
62で示す。バツグもしくはパウチの輪郭を64で示す。バ
ツグ壁66は中心小孔用口を有し、適当な方法で、たとえ
ばプラスチツク溶着シーム68によつて、第２カツプリン
グ要素56に固定される。
本発明によれば、連結箇所の部分において糞便物がはま
り込む可能性に対してこれを防護するため、シユート部
材24を設ける。好ましいシユート部材24は、半径方向外
方に延び、組立てた第1,第２カツプリング要素22および
56の下に横たわるフランジ部70を有し、このフランジ70
は、第２カツプリング要素56の内側壁50の中で該壁に隣
接して位置する円筒状チユーブもしくはスリーブ部72と
一体となつている。第２図から最も明確に理解しうるよ
うに、シユート部材24の存在によつて、連結箇所の部分
並びにこれによつて必然的に形成される割れ目およびく
ぼみに糞便物がたまる機会が完全に防止または大巾に減
少される。

Claims (2)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】着用者の小孔周囲領域へ取付ける人工肛門
    用器具であつて、皮膚に取付けることができる医療用接
    着性物質のパツド、パツドの表面に取付けられる半径方
    向に延びるフランジおよび、バツグもしくはパウチに取
    付けられる対応する第２カツプリング要素と連結するよ
    うに構成されたループ状の立上りリブを有するパツドに
    固定された第１カツプリング要素、ならびに第１カツプ
    リング要素の半径方向内側に該要素に隣接して設けた内
    側シユート部材から成り、該シユート部材は第１カツプ
    リング要素の半径方向内面の全体をカバーする実質的円
    筒状の壁と、その一端に、２つのカツプリング要素を連
    結したときシユート部材を正しい位置に捕捉できるよう
    に設置された半径方向外方に延びるフランジとを有する
    ことを特徴とする人工肛門用器具。
  2. 【請求項２】第１カツプリング要素が一体となつた屈撓
    性シール細長片を有し、第２カツプリング要素が小孔用
    口を取囲む溝を有し、シユート部材のフランジが該溝の
    半径方向内壁の端部に掛合する位置に設置されている前
    記第１項記載の人工肛門用器具。
